Sometimes one is fortunate to encounter a person who through their actions clearly shows that she enjoys what she does and does everything she can to help those she serves. Trina Williams at the Pitt County Veterans Services office in Greenville, NC, is just such a person. I can't say enough good things about the help she gave me when I went to her office to initiate a VA disability claim. I can, without reservations, recommend any Veteran who needs assistance with the VA to contact Trina. I am 100%+ confident that, based on the help Trina gave me and the outcome in my case, you won't be disappointed.

I was given the number for the Pitt County Veteran's Service Office to speak with someone about an issue I was having with my VA claim. A woman named Zhona Moody came on the line. Even though I don't reside in Pitt County, she was able to look into the issue I was having and was able to provide advice on the next steps that needed to be taken. She didn't have to do this, but she took the time to listen, ask questions, and followed up with a return call to answer my question. I was able to forward this advice to my own VSO and the issue is now resolved. Zhona provided excellent customer service. I would say that if you live in Pitt County, you're in great hands.

I received excellent help in applying for VA assistance with home care for my father, who was almost 90 years old at the time, from Ms. Channing Ford at the Pitt County Veterans Services. That was back in 2014. He passed away in 2015. Her knowledge about VA services was crucial for me and made the whole process easier. Channing is currently assisting me in applying for Survivors Benefits with the VA for my mother who is 95 years old. Once again she has made the process easier by keeping me informed and assisting with all the paper work that is needed. I am forever grateful for this service to our veterans, their spouse's, and exceptional people like Ms. Channing Ford who work there.

Trina Williams has handled my mom's application for VA assistance with professionalism and promptness. Trina has been encouraging and courteous. I'm very thankful for Veterans Services in Pitt County and the help Trina has provided during this complex process.

On a previous review Trina was not aware of my situation and had referred me to another office. I was very unhappy. Once I was evaluated from other services I ended up back to their office with more clarification I my situation. She listened. I allowed her to take charge despite my first encounter and she provided understanding and immaculate services. She listened and informed me of what I needed to do. She was a great help and continues to do so.
