Kudzu Bakery & Market Columbia

Visited for the first time yesterday. Cute shop! I got the cheese danish , carrot cake slice, caramel pecan chocolate cake slice and other goodies off the shelf. The danish was a little dry but otherwise everything else was absolutely delicious. The cakes were SUPER moist and not overly sweet. Will definitely visit again.

One of the top bakeries I've ever had the pleasure to live near! They have so much more than just baked goods. Really nice selection of food and every kind of product imaginable to perfectly compliment your next dinner party. (I picked up a delightful hand forged cheese knife here that I simply adore!) They have cakes, pies, cookies, ready made frozen meals, party food supplies, alcohol, dishes, and on and on.

It's now part of my weekly routine to head into Kudzu's bakery to pick up their chicken pot pie and breakfast bakes. (And usually a sweet or two!) Hands down the most delicious chicken pot pie I've had from anywhere, ever! The breakfast bakes are so delicious. The Pecan Sandies are the best I've ever had from anywhere! The Caramel Pecan Chocolate Cake is without a doubt my favorite cake from anywhere! (I'll warn you now: If you only get one slice, you'll want to cry when you get to the last bite of your cake because you didn't get more!) Honestly, everything you try in here is so yummy. I swear you can taste the love put into the products made here. Tastes like homemade from scratch dishes with premium ingredients.

Wow! The most delicious cake I can remember having. We are living here temporarily for training at Fort Jackson, but I guess we can never leave, this bakery is too good. Yellow cake with chocolate frosting is my favorite and Kudzu offers it (and many other cakes) by the slice. And thanks to the kind staff who gave a cookie to my stonefaced toddler 😆

Went bright and early here. I was looking for a bakery near me and thought I’d stop by. This bakery felt so peaceful and welcoming. Definitely a great place to grab stuff for hosting parties and events. Lovely handmade cakes and the pastries looks fresh. Im gonna come back for those haha 🤭. I’ll definitely come back during the holidays to grab stuff for hosting!

My friend and I visited this bakery yesterday for the first time. Everyone was extremely helpful & nice. We left with wine, & pastries. We’ll definitely be back for the lunch special & shopping. Every thing we bought was delicious.

Delicious food and cool inventory. I do feel like the staff treats me differently depending on how I'm dressed that day, which has always been kind of uncomfortable for me. It's definitely worth checking out still as it's the best cake I've had in all of Columbia!

Just had my first Kudzu experience. Wonderful store staff and, oh the cinnamon raisin bread!

I have now found my new bakery. I do not know how I missed Kudzu bakery. I have worked in the Forest Acres area for over 20 years and never heard..but I digress. The chocolate mousse slice and the chocolate chocolate cake slice are both Awesome! The store has incredible spices and bakeware that are out of this world. I am very impressed. Support small business.

Kudzu is my go to for so many things. I cannot go to a certain group meal unless I have a Kudzu coconut cake with me. I am my son-in-laws favourite Mother in law (LOL) if I bring a caramel cake when I visit. The frozen case always has something for my next meal. Wonderful staff and many kitchen items (my best kitchen knife is from there). Nice selection of lunch sandwiches on the far right. Convenient parking. Try it!

The bakery is beautiful but I can’t get past the Key Lime Pie! This is one of my favorite stores in Cola. They have such a lovely selection of gifts and glassware and the friendliest staff in town. I always go in for my favorites (homemade bread and fabulous chicken salad) but I end up with a basket full of goodies. I’m so glad they are close enough to be able to pop in regularly. Keep up the good work!

Sitting with an empty plate in front of me feeling very sad I ate my last slice of Carmel Pecan cake. Mind you I’ve been eating a piece every day for the past week.. This is our go to place for birthday cakes.

Kudzu is my Go To Place for so many things- picking up a tasty lunch special, casserole for dinner, delicious cakes, great wines, THE best cheese biscuits, cookware, beautiful stemware and gifts galore! This is my happy place @kudzubakerycola ! Whether I go in to buy or just to see what's new in gourmet foods, I'm automatically put in a good mood! That mostly eaten cookie (don't judge me) is a delicious oatmeal raisin with a soft center and crispy edges, the best chips ever- rosemary and garlic, chocolate chip cookie (the kids' favorite), and @marthas.menna.cheese .... Just yummmmm! The service is always great and the selection of gourmet foods is divine.

My first visit today. But definitely won't be my last?!

Such a cute place! The deli and baked goods are fantastic and the artisan shop finds are perfection! Great place to pick up a lunch special, hard to find gourmet grocery items, or gifts for a friend.

Every time I come to this place I am always treated with respect and awesome customer service. The selections are amazing and a beautiful atmosphere all around ❤

What great service - the entire staff was very helpful and friendly. Everything is always so dang good - the cheese biscuits are over the top. There should be a 10 star button for Kuduz Bakery !!
