Great Irish pub with very friendly staff and patrons. The type of place people will move over to help you get a seat. I watched 2 strangers at a 4 top invite 2 people that were waiting for a table to sit with them. The atmosphere was great. It is kid friendly. There was live music playing on a Sunday afternoon. Just the right level so you could talk and not yell. My daughter and I each started with a Shirley Temple. I'm a big kid at heart. For an appetizer we each got a cup of their creamy, buttery, thick and absolutely delicious clam chowder! My daughter got the baha burger. She really liked it. The fries were crisp with a nice spice. I had a stuffed quohog, this was served hot with butter and lemon. This was so good. I had the garlic parmesan chicken wings. These were crispy, juicy on the inside, and the flavors were delicious! Some of the best I've had. The entire time the staff was attentive and friendly. Definitely worth checking out!

Cozy little Irish Pub surprisingly had my fav Kj Chardonnay! We enjoyed the perfectly cooked crispy steak and bourbon turkey tips with perfectly mashed potatoes and rice pilaf and seasonal vegetabkes!
Bonus...they have Keno!

Nice local bar and restaurant need to know about it ro find but must say it was a hidden gem. It was pretty packed when I went full bar and all the tables were mostly full but only 2 waitresses/bartenders working hard. I had mozzarella sticks as an app and they were perfect not overly heavy. I had their famous steak tips mashed potatoes and green beans for dinner. Everything was tasty steak was cooked as requested and sauce was so nice and buttery. Will recommend anyone wanting a nice bar with large meals to check this place out.

Very friendly service. Great atmosphere, and the food was great. Personal pizzas were excellent. My buddy who makes pizzas for a living thought the pizza was real good. Fair prices, very good drinks. Glad I stopped after the Pat's game. Won't wait till another football game to return

Cozy little pub off the post road with fantastic food and a well-appointed wooden mirrored bar. This place had been on my radar for some time, and I'm thrilled that we were able to finally stop by. We were not disappointed. We can confidently recommend the Irish nachos, burger, and harvest salad. The portions were also very generous.

Wowsers! Everything we ordered was delicious. Shepherd’s Pie was quite the meal—burning hot though! According to my children, the food was “fire”! 🔥
Ambiance was pretty cool. We sat outside and enjoyed tte weather and cool collage of pictures. Loved this place. We’d all come back for sure! Only criticism was the wait. But certainly worth it! Another quote from my teen and young adult children, “humble on the outside, gas in the inside”!😉

This hidden gem 💎 on route 1A, a couple of miles from Gillette Stadium 🏟. The Shepard’s Pie 🥧 was savory and delicious. The ground beef 🥩 was so tasty. A bed of heavenly mashed potatoes 🥔 on top… Yummy

The Steak 🥩 carbonara pizza 🍕 was buttery and crispy with an excellent balance of steak, sauce, and cheese 🧀..

The chicken wings were good also.

We were quite pleased with this bar and grill. It’s small and quaint with a good vibe. They have a nice patio to hang out on. All the food we tried was very good (pizza with a homemade crust, chipotle bbq wings, and onion rings) , and the food we saw coming out of the kitchen looked appetizing, especially the steak tips. Service was on point with a friendly staff. We Would definitely revisit this place if we are back in town.

Tried the Rooster balls and Steak tip pizza . Both were surprisingly excellent 👌. The patrons were very nice at the bar. I absolutely recommend this place!

Local Irish Pub with laid back and casual vibe. Service was good for weekday night and one of only a few restaurants open past 9pm in area.... But food was great! The burgers, Irish Burger and Roo Burger were fantastic and perfectly cooked to order. The bartender was great and she was very attentive despite being buried taking care of all the the tables occupied while we were there.

Food was great. Shared a pretzel that came with a honey mustard sauce. Also had a burger which was cooked perfectly.

The photos don't do the portions justice - everything was huge! Tasty too! We also got the Irish nachos, but they were almost gone by the time I thought to take a pic. We'll be back soon to try more of the menu, there's a solid selection!

Food was great! I came in late night and Alex and Steph didn't miss a beat! Me and my wife ordered food a little closer to close and they were more than accommodating with the order. She also ordered a sugar cookie martini and absolutely loved it! I love a good IPA and enjoyed a nice Beer Tree Brew Mosaic Sunset. For an appitizer we got the Irish Nacho, it comes in two sizes. We got the smaller one and it was still more enough! We both ordered the "famous" steak tips and they do not disappoint! I got mine with a side of mashed and sautéed broccoli. She ordered hers over a harvest apple salad! Absolute perfection. The service, food, and drinks were absolutely perfect. Thank you Steph and Alex for making our date night perfect. Great local place, with a local vibe. Live music on the Friday evening when we went. Staff was nice; I didn’t get to try a lot, but they had plenty of options.

Bar back imported from Ireland. Building was originally a filling station in 1940s. Interesting additions such as stained glasses windows. Come see! You won't be disappointed.

First time stopped in and our bartender Jess was absolutely fantastic! I have never felt more welcoming and had more fun then when I came in here. I will have to make this my regular spot when Jess is on! Thank you Jess!!!!

Fun, loud and somewhat raucous Irish tavern is how I'd describe Red Rooster since its recent renovation made it a more appealing stop. Friendly staff, excellent pours, and quality pub food make this a must-stop for no-frills and frugal bar mavens. Try the pizzas, hearty sandwiches, steak tips, and Irish nachos (homemade potato chips with nacho toppings)! New bathrooms are a plus, too. The jukebox is always pumping at pretty decent volume which only adds to the amped up vibe. Great outdoor patio area when the weather’s nice. Lots of cool, quirky signs and knickknacks on the walls. The Red Rooster knows how to strut its stuff.
