This place is a step back into time. They have unique people and pies, their food is delicious! Monday-Friday they have lunch specials from 11-2 pm, they are on door dash as well!

Locally recommended to me. I had the Reuben and will be going back when I go back to Arkansas. Only place in the United States where you can get a drive in beer.

The bread in the Reuben was amazing, not dry and not soggy.

We are a family of 7. Travelling crossed country we stopped here for our Arkansas dinner experience. This place was a 5 star for all of us. Burgers yum best ever. Chicken sandwich delicious. Me personally I cant eat red meat due to allergies and I was thrilled that this place had burger options even for me. The black bean burger was the BEST I've ever had. Serving portions of fries were loaded on the plate. The sampler platters were portioned again perfectly for our large family to share the pick 3. Hit the road with dessert to go. Best cheese cake, brownies and cookie selection we tasted from a restaurant in years. Friendly fast service too.

If you could put your mama’s Sunday pot roast on a sandwich, then you’ll enjoy every dip of the French Dip sandwich. Homemade desserts is even better. Local spot that won’t disappoint.

Not only are the plates huge, the food is absolutely delicious, and all set in a charming 1950s style diner. They’ve got something for just about anyone here, but I can especially recommend the French dip sandwich. I’ll be coming back many times!

It was a great choice, I definitely enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. It makes you like you are back in time. Service is fast and on point, food is delicious and fresh. The restaurant is a great choice specially if you are looking for authentic Arkansas meals. This is one of the restaurants you must visit on a trip or vacation.

A little nostalgic inside dining. The cheeseburger and curly fries are so good! Old fashion feel with friendly service.
And the Only car hop around that serves beer.
They also have homemade cakes and pies!

The food was good as usual. Had a new Waiter. He must have been new. We were the only family upon arrival. Some more people gradually came in. He never checked on us or refilled our drinks. One of our least enjoyable meals in 35 years of visits.

The burger was juicy, not dry, bbq sauce was delicious, and as for the onion rings? I’m a bit of an onion ring connoisseur myself, and I can honestly say, this might be some of the best onion rings I’ve tasted. Service was great, atmosphere was fabulous! I’m from Oklahoma but this will be my go-to stop anytime I’m heading near Fort Smith

So I'm from Chicago moved to Oregon lived there 14 years.....I'm in Arkansas and talk about 14 years of missing good food wow Ed walkers French dip is by far the best I've ever had and I'm a great cook btw this is Grandma's French dip made w real roast roast beef not this thin lunch meat stuff everyone else makes but real roast and the flavor the tenderness I'm in love can't wait to try your philly cheese steak you guys are amazing!!!!

This is such a cool diner. You can do drive in or dine-in, and they have great outdoor seating areas and a good beer selection. The food was AMAZING. It's not fancy, it's just high quality and super flavorful. Our server, Kat, was fantastic, too - she was fast, knowledgeable, and so nice. I can't wait to go back here!

The French Dip Sandwich is indeed World Famous! Onion Rings were very good. Service was outstanding. Such a wonderful place!

Classic diner style restaurant known for the French Dipped Sandwich. Homestyle cooking and friendly staff. Prices around $10-15 depending on what you get, but worth it! Everything was very fresh and tasty. It is the oldest family owned and operated restaurant in Fort Smith and they are also grandfathered in to serve beer to you in the drive up. Unique!

I loved this place!! The atmosphere was just like home. The best chicken fried steak I ate in a long time. So tender you could cut it with a fork. Homemade pies of all kinds!! If you're in Fort Smith, Arkansas stop in and try it!! You won't be sorry!! Oh appetizers we're awesome too!!

Delicious food, great employees, & amazing atmosphere. Don't worry about parking, they have a huge parking lot. Don't want to go in? Pull up and flash your lights for a car hop to come out to take your order. I recommend this place to anyone visiting Fort Smith!

Ed Walkers Drive-In & Restaurant is a blast from the past. It's a locally owned business and we need to support them right now. The service is right on point. These girls work hard to assure your dining experience is a pleasurable one. The food is fantastic and they offer a huge selection to choose from. There is a nostalgic atmosphere to the place. You feel like your back in the 50's and 60's. I watch all the staff constantly sanitizing thier hands while we were there. These folks want to make sure you happy and safe at the same time. I will be back.

Great food, awesome service, we also ordered a burger patty for our dog while sitting outside, they brought the dog's burger already crumbled up and in its own container, which was awesome. They even brought her a small bowl of water, which she enjoyed spilling and playing in.

Great food; service was friendly and fast. Will return for sure. I have been living in the River Valley my whole life and cannot believe I have not stopped here before.
