Dickerson Gallery

The Dickerson Gallery is a “must visit” the next time you are anywhere nearby. Jack and Kate are lovely and both are talented artists. I’ve been lucky enough to acquire a few of Jack’s paintings over the years and wish I had a few more.

I visited this gallery a few years ago while on a trip east. I’ve known of Jack’s work for years and seen it grow into amazing pieces. One needs to visit the gallery to see the size and scope of work. Photos do not do the work justice. The ocean waves swallow you. The leaves on the trees shimmer. Check it out. Prices are very reasonable.

Tromp l’oreal scenes made perfect by Kate’s steady hand. No intimidating atmosphere here, the duo are friendly, without pretension, as they work at their easels surrounded by their paintings.

A trip to Cape Cod is not complete without a stop at Dickerson Gallery. Originality abounds from Kate’s trompe d’oeil and needlepoint to Jack’s birches, shells, waves and much more. And, you get to see these two at work. Lively discussions can be the norm, and you leave reluctantly wanting more.

This place is so wonderful - inspiring, colorful, spiritual. My work is inspired very often by their beautiful pieces! Been too long since a visit, plan to again soon. Please support our Cape artists!!
