the only complaint I have was the music. food good and my service was great!!! it’s under new management but it was my first visit so I have nothing to compare it to.

Wow! 👏🏽 first time here. The minute I walked in the host greeted my partner and me. our order was taken and food was delivered promptly. Gosh! What a mouth orgasm!! Gotten what catfish cove is known for, catfish. Had the Cajun style (spicy). Everything was perfect 💯

We were greeted at the door and promptly seated. It was a little warm for me but to be fair it was 107 outside.
The food was delishious. I'm always reluctant to get slaw but I took the chance and was pleasantly surprised. It was not too vinegar-y and tasted great.
There was a nice mix of music playing and our waitress was just the right amount of attentive. We will definitely be regulars.

We have been to catfish cove a few times now. The food is authentic and tasty. Sometimes it can take a bit to get your food because they cook it fresh to order. Despite that the service has always been awesome and the man who is usually there is just the most friendly guy. We will continue to return.

It’s so hard to find good catfish around town, but tonight our family had the BEST catfish we EVER had. The filets were big and thick, and the batter was perfection. Their sides are good too. We love getting the potato salad, pea salad, pears, and coleslaw. Terrance the owner is very helpful and friendly. We definitely will eat here once a week.

Always a good experience, good is always on point. Our favorite sea food place for the family.

While I consider myself a regular my visits are too infrequent. Very good catfish which I have grilled. Nice serve yourself salad bar. Rustic decor with a very polite courteous staff.

Our favorite place to fill up on catfish and a buffet bar that will make your plate HEAVY! Servers are always friendly and they keep your tea topped off! Big shrimp and hot catfish - just add that baked tater! Bling Blinky of Texas Shout Out: Your gonna full up before you know it !! Leave room for dessert!

My friends have been saying good things about the food so we drove an hour to the restaurant. It was a nice ample parking spaces and inside was a very relaxing atmosphere. Best catfish fillet ever! Come with an appetite and with the sides available it's more than enough. The service was Amazing, polite and very nice. I recommend to others who want some good catfish. GREAT FOOD*****

What a great place to go eat catfish! The service was amazing! And the food was delicious and generous! The place is reminiscent of a 1950's log cabin on the inside. They have old kitchen, household, and tool relics around the place and cool antiques on the walls with nice large paintings. After you order you are allowed a trip to the salad bar, but not green salad, rather a collection of cold salads are available. Think antipasta, cold black eyed peas, potato salad, and coleslaw. They also had pickled okra and some seasonal fruit available. The only thing that made me feel weird was that there was no background music playing. Maybe some music on the speaker system or even a small speaker tucked away playing music on low could of made it feel a bit more welcoming. The silence was just too much for me when we walked in. Made us feel like we were inside a library and we weren't allowed to talk loud. Breaking up the silence makes people feel more relaxed. Just FYI. But other than that we loved it! I recommend the catfish fillets! Made to order hot and fresh! The hush puppies are homemade as well as the tartar sauce! Soooo good!! They know exactly what they are doing here!

My friend took me here on Thursday, O my the whole catfish is delish and fried very, very golden pretty brown. I loved it, only one thing had us puzzled. Why was the floor so sticky? It was so sticky my sandal got stuck lol. Then as we were leaving we notice newly blacked top parking lot, Okay I'm good now and going back today.

If you're into old fashioned cooking and down home country style this is the place to go for your fish. The laid back atmosphere is just the thing to feel at home. Go on the right night and you'll even have live entertainment along with the wonderful food. Can't wait for my next visit!

Best fried catfish in Dallas! Salad bar bats 1000%! $5 - $7 will get a lunch box that can hold an average appetite. Great place to eat!!! The staff is nice and polite... Give'em a try is all I can say!

The food and the new owner are amazing. He's a regular guy real down earth. Serving up awesome juicy tender filet. I had the pick 2 all filets ,so good, and those hush puppies omg yess sir!

I went out with my dad for lunch and the food was very good! The hushpuppies they gave us were incredible, and the gumbo had incredible flavor! The service was really good too and our waiter was friendly and we got seated the moment we walked in. I saw other reviews saying the catfish had no flavor, which is entirely wrong. I strongly recommend it! All around a pleasant experience.

Wow! Very surprised it was THIS GOOD. Small cozy little place, seating for 60-70 maybe.

But man the catfish was VERY GOOD. possibly couldve been fried a minute longer but i like my fish real crispy. Fries were lightly seasoned not just plain. They have a little side dish bar and they give you a plate to serve yourself. Potato salad was great.

I usually dont like hush puppies but i swear these were SUPERB. not just dense and doughy like some. These were made with cornbread had plenty of flavor and a great texture while eating.

I just drove by and didnt want to eat fast food so i decided to give it a try but definitely did not expect the quality i got.

And the Price! 2 large catifsh filets w fries and hush puppies and large drink came to just over 16dollars. Im very happy i came.

The fish is the best I’ve tried since I moved to Texas this year. It’s seasoned perfectly. It’s so fresh. All the fish is good, but I can’t stop eating the catfish nuggets the most! The oysters and hush puppies are also quite delicious! The salad bar is always fresh. The place is clean. They even give you gloves to use the salad bar and have hand sanitizer everywhere. We eat here quite often.

I'm not a fish eater and the fish was Amazing! The coleslaw and potato salad on the relish bar was one of the best I've ever had. Will definitely be coming back.
