The Funplex Myrtle Beach

We took my grandson and his friends to Myrtle Beach for his 14th Birthday and while there, one of the things we did was go to the Funplex. Event hough all the rides weren't open they had a good time. It wasn't over crowded and the staff was very helpful and super friendly.

Stumbled upon this park while visiting the area with friends. Awesome, CLEAN park in a very convenient location. They have a full bar and great food menu with plenty of seating. Staff was friendly and attentive.. did I mention the cleanliness already . Rides were fun and there's something for all ages. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Rating a five because I enjoyed myself the kids did too they would prefer a Carowinds or Six Flags but nonetheless it was a great time! Parking is $10 and it's until 11pm I believe it's worth it since it's hard to find parking as is considering across the street from the beach. Food places within walking distance so you could leave your car there to walk which is great! Rides for all ages just wasn't aware you had to pay out of pocket for rides like the slingshot which sucked since I paid 50$ a wristband for unlimited rides so make sure you purchase online!

Amazing place, the staff treats you like family and is very friendly. All of the rides are fun and there's even a few games to play as well with some nice prizes. The bar in the park has a great selection of food and drinks, the bar tenders are amazing and very sweet. 10/10 would recommend going if you're in town on vacation with family or even with friends.

Update: Came through again today, 6/23/2023 and had another amazing time. Lisa, the retail woman who was selling bubble wands was absolutely incredible, very fun and sweet. She plays with the bubbles with the kids and even filled them up for us and told us that they're refillable which the kiddos loved. The bartender Kay was super nice and very friendly, along with the other bartenders I have seen there such as Deseria, Alex, and Blu. I make sure to tip every time I see them. The ride operators are all absolutely awesome with the rides. The way they get you excited to ride is fun. They are all very helpful suggesting other rides if a child is under the height bar as well. Will definitely be back to visit again

The place was very, VERY clean. Staff was amazing and friendly. There was no wait for any rides at all. We had an amazing time overall and I’d especially like to thank the guy that was operating “The Funplex” ride (aka the drop zone type ride) on 6/4/23 because he was amazing and really kind and funny and was just amazing overall. Definitely recommend this place!!!

Kids had sooo much fun, bar staff was amazing, and manager Frank had a level head and was incredibly reasonable! We would definitely come back.

This is our second year here and this is a great place. Very clean and everyone was friendly. It's a great place for adults to relax with some bar food and awsome drinks while the kids play. Get the bucket drinks..they are the best deal and well worth it.

I went to the Funplex a few weeks ago with my friends, and we had a blast! It was great having a place to sit and hang out, while some of our friends went on the rides. The manager Matt who was serving us was super attentive, and the menu was much larger than I expected. Most surprising was how clean everything was (which you don’t always find at theme parks)!! Would definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for something fun to do right off the beach!

My first time visiting Myrtle Beach and this place did not disappoint!
The entire was super friendly and welcoming from the moment we stepped into the park. At the bar, Kaita and Matt, who was the operations manager, took care of us and gave us great drink selections and provided excellent service! The manager of the park, Michael, ensured that we had a great time and enjoyed all the rides.
Overall my trip was made better through the service that we received!
Most definitely would return and recommend to other!

Great park! Amazing staff, Food, & Drinks. The Manager name Michael and Matt were very professional and kind. The bartender Kaita was very good too. The roller coaster was awesome!!! My favorite ride. Definitely made my vacation very hard to forget.

I went in May 2022 with a group of friends & we had an amazing time!! It was our first time in Myrtle Beach The bartender Kaita was friendly and attentive to the needs of everyone around the bar & ensured our requests were met in a timely fashion!

The restrooms were the cleanest theme park bathrooms I’ve ever seen!
Management was on point and surely knows how to keep guests happy and safe!
This is definitely one of the best attractions in Myrtle Beach!!!!

Brought the kids here & I must say… Snow was the best worker here. He was we great with the kids and just had a great energy about him. The kids enjoyed every bit of being here at the park.

The kids had a great experience. A little pricey but that's okay. Just like everything else in Myrtle Beach. The wait lines were not long and you were able to order your prepaid fun card and reserve a time slot so you can make sure that you get to ride the ride. They also have food and drinks for the adults. Thank you guys for a great experience

My daughter and her cousin really enjoyed this park. It was super fun for them. Everything was great besides the puke at the entrance of the park.

The idea of paying for the ones who's going to ride is great, staff are friendly, the rides looks brand new, facilities are clean.

Like it! Definitely not for younger kids my 8 year old can ride most rides my 2 year old could ride 1 thing. Overall still a really good experience. Bar , music and games playing on the TV with seating and tables. Directly across from restaurants and an arcade.

We had a great time at Funplex on our vacation. It is extremely convenient, right next to the board walk with rides for all ages! The rollercoaster was very unique, you can ride in a cart that moves around or a hamster wheel that spins you around the whole ride! Great place for family fun. Also, the bar has AWESOME drinks with even better bartenders.

Very nice staff, I recommend going, the roller coaster was very fun. Overall I would no doubt go back.

Friendly staff, clean restrooms, and clean bar. They have a full bar and snacks available. Some of the rides are not available bc they are still being assembled but thats ok still plenty to do. Everything is perfect for families. They have wristbands for all day and then they have packages with cards with loaded credits that do not expire which is a plus. Pretty neat. Nice to see rides slowly coming back to the beach front.
