Chestnut Grill

One thing to say about Chestnut grill is that although it's typically pretty busy. They have that restaurant running like a well oiled machine there was a 15min wait before seating, however once we were seated the service was so fast. Drinks appetizers and the meal all came out so quickly I was truly impressed. I had a New York strip and it was purely delicious.

Amazing steaks and an overall great experience we had with our lunch. Our lunch had a Sirloin and a Ribeye and both the pieces were medium well done as per our liking and was delicious. The staff was very warm as well. They offered us an complimentary desert that is the cheesecake which was simply amazing. DO VISIT and enjoy your steaks here...

This is a hidden gem in Orangeburg, the food is delicious, the waiters are extremely nice some of the waitresses have their emotions on their shoulders, and seem to be bothered but we were not there to make friends. To the owner: the young African man who is a waiter deserves a customer service award. He was beyond happy to serve us and his attitude towards everyone was extremely positive.

Passing through Orangeburg my wife inquired about dinner places and Chestnut grill was recommended and did not disappoint. The food was great, came quick and correct, and the server, Kacie, was very friendly and all smiles even though she was covering a lot of tables due to being short handed. Prices are very reasonable too!

Honey croissants are soft and sweet, the blooming onion is crispy and sweet, everything they have is delicious and on point. This place is really amazing, definitely recommend it!

Food was fast and delicious. Server was training but did a great job. Nice place and reasonably priced. Highly recommend if you are in the area

Very cute local restaurant! I got the cheese broccoli quiche which was by far the best quiche I’ve ever had and I give it a 10/10. It tasted just like cheese broccoli soup. I also got clam chowders soup. It was also really good and I’d give it an 8/10. I definitely would come back!

I was at a treacher's conference in Orangeburg this week. About 18 of us dined at the Chestnut Grill. I orderd the Teriyaki Chicken Breast with stemmed Broccoli and fried Okra. It was out of this world. Service was exceptional and the atmosphere was great. AWESOME FOOD. Worth the drive.

This was my family's first time here and everything was phenomenal!! The food was amazing. However, or server Jillian really took the cake!! She was professional, sweet, and took awesome care of us! We will be back for sure!

Jillian L was amazing!!!!... 🤩🤩🤩dazzling personality, sweet and polite. The food arrived very hot and everything was delicious. Jillian never let our glasses go empty. The entire staff was amazing. I'm still kinda new to beautiful Orangeburg but Chestnut Grill I'll be back again and again.

Friendly staff. Clean. Burger was delicious. In and out quickly at lunch time even though there was a slight wait time.

First time I have eaten there in over 20 years. Food seemed much better. Little pricey but large portions.

Moved back to the Orangeburg after 17 years. I always wanted to try this place growing up. I went here for the first time and the food was good. Waitress was phenomenal, great customer service service. I will be back.

Don't walk RUN here for the greatest food ever! It was possibly the best steak I've ever eaten! All the food here was amazing from the croissant rolls to the fresh fruit that comes with an amazing dipping sauce. I ordered the ribeye and my husband got the prime rib. Service was fast and friendly. Our amazing waiter Stefan even accommodated my husband and let him get the crab dip out of the deli case for his appetizer, including crackers for dipping! I found my new favorite steakhouse..... We will DEFINITELY be back. 🤤

Service was exceptional! 5/5! Never did my sweet tea glass go empty! Food was 4/5. Steak was cooked to my expectations though the baked potato was a bit crunchy on the ends. Will definitely return!

First time visiting. Everything was delicious. Closed from 3-5.

I found this place online and decided to visit while I was in the area. It was excellent. The food was delicious. The service was impeccable. The fried green tomatoes with pimento spread was to die for. Everyone in our party of six had something different and it was all good. I would make a special trip just to eat at this place. A special shout-out to Ashlee J, our server who is one of the best that I have ever had. She kept our glasses full and was so pleasant and polite. She was incredible.
