Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Nashville Downtown/The Gulch

Thank you Barry(GM) for the upgrade during our special occasion this past weekend, really appreciated it and the Hospitality from your staff members, Layla did an amazing job she was so friendly, kind, informative, welcoming all the above, to be honest she might be the best agent I’ve encountered checking into a Marriott property so Kudos to her, she made plenty great recommendations, she took her time with me made me feel like a Movie Star at the check in encounter and for that this, we will stay at this location whenever we are in town, we stayed in a beautiful suite that was very clean and updated close to Broadway and all restaurants in area, great location. Hotel was clean and nice throughout, it’s clear the staff and the GM cares about the property. Thanks again for the great Hospitality from the GM and Layla and the rest of the team.

This is a great hidden gem in The Gultch neighborhood with a hugely superior value to the other hotels in the area.
- The provided breakfast is very solid with good options.
- There is 24/7 artisannal coffee, which is great.
- The rooms are modern with good fixtures, bathrooms, and plenty of outlets.
- The daily rate is *far* lower than other hotels in the area, which makes this a great choice for value-conscious travelers. Frankly, there's no reason to pay ~3x as much for a hotel stay when you can stay at this hotel and walk 5 minutes to your destination.
- As a bonus, the rooftop bar is pretty good and has a nice mix of classic and modern cocktails.

Overall, I would absolutley stay here again. Special shout-out to Barry, the GM, who checked in via email to make sure we were accomodated.

Our stay at Fairfield Inn & Suites Nashville Downtown/The Gulch was perfect! I highly recommend this hotel. The staff was extremely helpful and nice. We felt like "guests of honor" the entire stay! Eric greeted us with a smile when we arrived the first night. We unpacked and went straight to UP, the rooftop bar, where we met Robert, Kelly, and Caroline. All 3 of these people took great care to wait on us quickly and efficiently! They took the time to get to know us and were happy to answer any questions we had about our first time in Nashville. The service at the bar was wonderful. We ordered the carnitas nachos and a couple of cocktails. Everything was delicious and served quickly! Breakfast each morning was hot and plentiful! The gal who cleared tables was so sweet! Being from Ohio, we'd heard about southern hospitality, and I must say we experienced it at your hotel! Well done! We recently retired from teaching 35 years so we are just starting to travel. We hope to return to your hotel someday! Keep up the good work. You make people feel at home!

Ms.Layla was absolutely amazing and soft spoken she was extremely patient and kind while I searched for my reservation. She told me she was new and it was her first week and boy she did such a great job even engaging with my kids I will definitely be returning to the hotel hopefully she'll be the one to check us in again. Please let her know I truly appreciate her beautiful smile kind words and directions

We were in Nashville for a wedding. We found the Fairfield inn at the Gulch to be a great place. Rooms were nice and the free breakfasts were great. But the best part was the friendly staff. Staff was always friendly and smiling. Anything we wanted was swiftly done. I would go back there when every in Nashville.

I was very pleased with the room and most of all Sierra and camellia at the breakfast bar was so nice and went out of thier way to be helpful. They really know how to make you feel welcome.

Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful and smiling. From the front desk, to the dining area to housekeeping, we will absolutely stay here again! The weekend breakfast had brisket available, the location was close to our event, the fitness center had everything we needed and I loved the outdoor seating area and the mural there is beautiful.

I was part of a group that stayed here for a guitar workshop. The entire group was taken great care of and everyone was extremely helpful. I had just had knee replacement and I booked the one of the handicapped rooms, it was super

We came to Nashville for a conference at the Fairfield Inn. We stayed at the hotel with our group, and we were very happy with the experience.

Every member of the Fairfield team was wonderful and accommodating. However, Todd was absolutely amazing. We were wanting to extend an extra day and he and the manager went out of their way to help make that happen and keep us in our current rooms. We had such a wonderful and plan to return again soon.

Front desk associate was very welcoming! (Beautiful black young lady) she was very kind & very helpful. Her wonderful customer service made the stay better. I would definitely stay here the next time I’m In Nashville. The room was nice & clean. The pool was very cool. I love the complimentary breakfast buffet offered.
I didn’t get the chance to experience the roof top bar but definitely looking forward to it on my next stay.

Nice hotel in a good part of town. Walking distance to many restaurants/bars. It's a fairly long walk to Broadway but it is doable. Pretty good restaurant with rooftop access. Would recommend staying here if you want to be near downtown Nashville but far enough away to be in a quiet part of town and away from the shenanigans of Broadway. It was about a $20 Uber/Lyft ride from the airport to this hotel.

Edit: I have to give an extra star to the staff at this hotel. We left a bag in the room and we were able to come get it the next day. I really appreciated them helping me out with this.

6/5 Stars if I could. I cannot say enough positive about this hotel. It’s an incredible location, modern/updated rooms and AMAZING service. Every staff member was caring, prompt and fun. They got us out of a pickle when we had to leave our AirBnB unexpectedly and got us into a room at 9:30am in the morning. Special shout out to Kristy for the help, and thanks for living up to the Marriott brand!!!!

Great hotel with incredible staff. Very clean and a really good breakfast included with your room.

Cannot say enough great things about the staff. Eric and Joe at the front desk were super friendly and really helpful, they were sure to greet us everytime we passed. I don't know her name, but the lady who covers the breakfast area in the morning was so pleasant.

We stayed here for the better part of a week and had a great time, I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking to stay in a great area of Nashville.

The only thing I would hope is that the company would upgrade 2 sitting areas…the breakfast area, the tables are too low and the chairs/benches could be more comfortable…the front porch, the furniture is not comfortable.

I can not believe how friendly & helpful everyone was. From front desk for recommendations & a toothbrush, to housekeeping and a blanket. Everybody was smiling. It was a treat.

We only stayed one night while we attended The Station Inn. Loved that it was close to there and all other activities in the Gulch. VERY nice rooms and the bathrooms and shower were huge and amazing!

I have stayed here a few times and never had an issue. There was construction on one of the floors, and one elevator was dedicated to the construction, which caused the remaining elevator to be slower since it was handling all guest traffic. But construction was not much of an inconvenience, and it means they are upgrading. The stay was pleasant.

We loved our 6 night stay bere. Friemdly staff, clean, great breakfast, and perfect location to get anywhere while in Nashville.

Everything was perfect. Check in was seamless, breakfast was good, the room was clean and staff was very friendly. The area is close to everything just a lot of construction going on but that didn’t take away from our experience. The parking is a little expensive, $36 a night, but again everything else was perfect. Thanks again!
