Best Western Plus Buda Austin Inn & Suites

I've stayed here multiple times over the past 2 years, one stay was over 3 weeks! I keep coming back here, despite many other hotel choices. So I guess that says I really like the place. At the top for me is a good solid hot buffet breakfast with waffles and eggs, potatoes, bacon or sausage...well there's lots more to choose from!
The rooms are comfortable with mid-firm beds that get the job done for me. I've only stayed on the top floor and found rooms to be reasonably spacious, with good bath rooms, adequate hot water and all that. All the rooms I've been in have at a minimum a fridge and a microwave. Some have a larger fridge and a stove top, cookware and a small kitchen sink.
The internet has been slow and quirky until just recently...it still is a bit odd about logons but the speed has increased to 50 Mb. Not so fast, but very usable and a whole lot better than the 5 to 7 Mb provided before. This is not a huge issue for some, but I'm a business traveler and it matters for me... especially when I'm approaching my 50 MB limit on my phone

We needed to visit the Buda area for a few days. After looking at various options, I decided to stay at this hotel. The rates were reasonable, the rooms' good size, and the reviews were pretty good, so we took a chance, and it worked out for us.

We were able to find parking, and we were politely greeted and registered. Our room was on the 4th floor and at the end of the hallway. So it was quiet, and the elevators (two of them) were always working, so it was fairly easy to get up and down. The TV had a good variety of channels, and the remote worked. Our room service was good and came on Saturday morning. We checked out on Sunday. The water in the room was hot and gave us a much needed hot shower when needed. Just note that the ice is on floors 1 and 3.

We did not use the gym but did have breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was waffle, cereal, toast, bagels, eggs, potatoes, and bacon. Coffee and juices were also available. It wasn't fancy restaurant quality, but it was something to eat.

All in all, we had a great stay and visit. The people at the front desk were always courteous and helpful.

It was my first time at this Hotel and It was a beautiful experience, I fell in love with this place!! We arrived at midnight with my husband we went first to confort suits but they made us wait, nobody was there. We decide to come here (Best Western) I’m glad we didn’t stay in the other hotel, the receptionist lady was very kind, we got to the room and it was so cozy, clean and big, the next day we got up for breakfast and the dining room is so nice, the staff was very friendly, the food was very delicious. I had a beautiful experience, I would definitely come back and recommend it!

We loved the hospitality and cleanliness of this motel . The rooms were great as well as the location. We definitely will be returning to this location again.

This place was awesome. Austin was easily accessible, and there was tons to do in Buda too. The service was great, the rooms were super clean, and the breakfast was excellent.

You can't get to this place by driving through Candlewood's parking lot! You have to drive around Candlewood. Odd location being surrounded by three hotels.

Loved the hardwood floors in the room but they got cold. Slippers should be provided. Liked the ample lighting and the not small fridge. Room was clean as well.

There's a curling bar with some plates in the gym! Did some guest leave this here? It's a nice addition. The gym is small, though, but sensibly equipped with one of each type of typical cardio machine. Not like other hotels that try to fit multiple treadmills with other cardio machines in a small gym.

Fantastic room clean well appointed quiet as a church mouse will be staying there for the next 13 plus weeks on a work contract

Needed somewhere decent to stay the night before our flight and this was the only one with an indoor pool, breakfast, and the price was lower than anyone else. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and comfortable, beds were great. The only complaint, though no fault of the hotel, is that there is already limited parking and even more limited because large trucks with large trailers and other construction vehicles will park and take up 10 spots. We parked in the lot next door with no issue but the nice lady up front said I could have parked right out front. And it felt like a safe area as well. Would definitely recommend.

I stayed 2 nights. The overall feel of this location is bright, clean, and friendly. Robert, the staff handling the continental breakfast, was so awesome!

Better than expected. Very clean, spacious room with full-size fridge, cooktop, dishes, pots. But no cutlery (desk provided fork, knife and spoon when asked). Comfortable bed. Good hot water with good pressure in shower. Fast, reliable wifi. Easy, safe parking. Near Walmart, gas stations and and some fast-food chains. Good value and would book again.

Best Wester has been a very good experience, I am a CDL driver and I have been to several cities and visited several hotels and without a doubt this has been one of the best, there are many here together but I recommend this one.

The breakfast was delicious , every morning stay was freshly made and very good and clean service!

I was surprised how great this hotel is. Great breakfast and staff, w clean facilities.

We needed a good place to stay close to The Circuit of the Americas for an event. I chose this hotel based off of the great price and the good reviews. The hotel was very clean and smelled nice. Our room had a king size bed and there was a small chair in the corner. There is a desk with a chair but the lamp and coffee maker take up a lot of space, I wish there was a side table because we actually had to use the ironing board as place to sit a few things. The breakfast was very basic but they do have a waffle maker so that was nice. The coffee was good so that was a plus!
Overall, it was a great choice. Clean and a decent area, HEB was right across the highway and there were several places to eat. We will definitely stay here when we come back next year!

Honestly I’ve never been to a hotel that had such an amazing staff member. Alejandra was beyond amazing and added to the value of this hotel. She deserves a raise for the kindness and professionalism

As a prior Best Western GM, everything was up to the excellent BW brand standards! Plenty of hot water at all times. Business center with printer accessible at all times. Complimentary continental breakfast was fantastic, well above and beyond what is required! Strawberry compote with fresh banana and whipped cream waffles was a nice surprise that I had been craving for a while and never expected there! They had a two or three different fruit compotes to choose from. My teenage kiddo basically had a buffet and filled his seemingly bottomless stomach. He had a breakfast burrito that he made with sausage, egg, potatoes, and shredded cheese. Then, he had a waffle that he smothered with Nutella. I took an apple, orange, and banana and a few packets of Nutella back to the room for breakfast the next morning since we were supposed to leave before breakfast the next morning. As a previous hotel GM, I noticed many extras like individual Cholula and salsa packets, cream cheese, shredded cheese, breakfast potatoes, the individual Nutellas, compotes, whipped cream, large variety of teas, and all the traditionally seen items like a variety of cereals, various muffins, bagels, breads, fresh fruits, and condiments. A+ breakfast, clean room, clean common areas, the hotel nor rooms were doused with air fresheners and smelled pleasant without an overpowering smell of cleaners.

For a Best Western, this place is great. I stay there for one to two days a week. It's clean the people are friendly. It's great value. I've stayed other hotels around, and I come back here every time.

It was very clean from the moment we walked into the lobby to our room. I was very pleased with how cold they allow the rooms to get. Normally it’s so hot I can’t stand it but the ac in our room was perfect. The front desk representative that was there for check in and check out was friendly. The only negative thing I have to say is that the hallways were hot and muggy. Like there was no air flow. If they could have some ceiling fans or even an ac unit at the ends of the halls to cool it down it would be perfect.

Excellent room amenities. Good WiFi and tv. Clean comfortable beds and great a/c. Outstanding breakfast that includes scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage, and potatoes, along with the normal break/cereal offerings. Good value based on what was delivered.
