Chelo's Mexican Restaurant

This has got to be one of the best restaurants in Wolfforth. The service was amazing. They were extremely kind and very attentive to our table. The food was even better! We ordered fajitas, flautas, and the chicken quesadilla deluxe and we wished we had bigger stomachs. It was all very reasonably priced as well. This is definitely our new favorite Mexican restaurant near Lubbock and we will be back many times!

Hands down best chips and salsa in all of Lubbock and surrounding areas! Most authentic food I've had. Wonderful flavor. Great quality. But it seems like the portions have gotten smaller. I work hard on not over eating. But choose healthy portions. Normally I walk away satisfied. The last few times the portions left me still feeling hungry. But I eat very few chips, only because I watch carbs. They are so good though.

Awesome Mexican food! Loved the special plate. Steak, shrimp and chicken over rice with a light white queso sauce.

Staff is friendly, food was great, service was fast.

The atmosphere was wonderful. All staff was incredibly kind. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and helped shortly after we sat down. Our drinks stayed full and the food came out fast. Everything was delicious and authentic. I recommend their Caldo de Res. The meat was perfectly tender and the broth will heal your soul!! The owners made sure we were completely satisfied. There was even a mariachi band. They also have street tacos outside the restaurant. Thanks for the wonderful visit. We will be back again and again.

The breakfast burrito and salsa were excellent. I’m so excited to find a locally owned place with a great breakfast and super sweet staff. Will definitely go back!!

this was our first time trying this place out, and we were not disappointed! great service, great food and a speedy lunch. in and out in less than 45 mins. Ivy did a great job even though they were very busy.

One our go to places!! Staff ,service and food absolutely bueno! I recommend Caldo, carne gusto And Chicken enchiladas with verde. Going for lunch today. Watch out for the table of gringos that is us!! Ola

This is one of your hole in the wall kinda places. Soooo good and yummy. I had a simple plate with 2 cheese enchiladas, rice and beans. My husband had the beef Chimichaga and it was just like having a beef fajitas deep fried burrito. Sssoooo sooo sooooooo good he said. Best Mexican food place we've found so far in our area.

Great food! This is like a road side diner, no carefully sculpted atmosphere but our food and service was excellent.

I like to call it torta cubano..ham egg avocado lettuce tomato, carnitas and pastor and more!! Best one I’ve found where they can make it!! I recommend this place!!

Fantastic food, amazing attentive service, small cozy atmosphere. I had the carne guisado and a side of chips and queso, very highly recommend all of the above. The meat fell apart it was so tender and the queso blanco was perfectly creamy.

Last night was amazing. We were a group of 11 people and were hungry. We found this authentic amazing Mexican restaurant. If you’re looking for homemade Mexican food this is the place to go to! The service was amazing and the food was delicious. The prices were reasonable. We’ll definitely come back.

What's not to love? The service has always been grate and so are the prices. You have to try their sopapillas and coffee!

Food was delicious and the service was very good!!

I've been twice, the second time was exponentially better. I had lengua and asada tacos, which were what I expect whenever I order a taco of either. They also offered two types of salsa the second time and mixed together were phenomenal. There's only one other taqueria with better asada tacos but the lengua was much better the second time around. Drinks were great, especially if you are looking for value.

Fast friendly service, and some of the best huevos rancheros you will find.

My family and myself absolutely love this food truck a couple weeks ago was the first time we discovered it and when I tell you we have had the food at least 5 times we have not had one bad item from here not expensive either and great quality of food as well and the service is excellent we hope to continue to see you in brownfield and when your not in town we will be sure to stop in wolfforth to see you guys keep up the amazing work and food of course !
