Food is awesome!!!!!! Great big portions and wait staff is awesome.. saved to my favorites when I come back down here.

It's a little hole in the wall place but the cabrito was best I've had outside of home cooked. I also tried the ox tail soup and it was delicious. Highly recommend the food

Yes home made food at the hands of others people you can trust. The cost is at your choice of selection and the taste of food it's delicious. Staff friendly, clean areas, parking very small. But over all come at your own risk!

Authentic Mexican food, we had asado de puerco, carne guisada and some fresh made lemonade, all of it delicious and with generous portions. Definitely recommend.

Went to get breakfast enjoyed welcoming atmosphere you can tell all the locals go there ..Great food and service at a great price...I recommend the breakfast with eggs and barbacoa plate...q

So far ..very good service, I was taken care almost immediately, within minutes of arriving. I ordered one taco of potatoe and egg with chorizo and beans. Good size taco. ..I'd come back....it's my second time here ... But looking good so far....

Walked in just to try it out. Very family/homestyle. I tried the day's special, which was a fajita tamiquena a la mexicana. I'm not gonna lie I was kind of dissapointed because my data wasn't working inside the restaurant (blame AT&T), but once the food came it was the last thing on my mind. The fajitas were A1!!! Even the beans, tortillas, and rice were amazing. 5 stars hands down

This restaurant serves meals that taste homecooked. One of their specialties is caldo de res. It is the best that I have EVER tasted anywhere. The waitresses also provide very good service.

When the fall hits the RGV I like to come here for the caldo de pollo, or de rez.. Menudo is great also for a cold weekend .

Start with the corn tortillas, and everything that follows: fajitas toreadas, asado de puerco, cabrito en salsa, caldos. Best down home Mexican food (not to be confused with Tex-Mex) in the Valley. Great service.

Food is great but ask for there prices on lunch plates before you order. Breakfast is great 3 tacos for $2.75.
