The Plains Taproom

Great spot downtown to try a wide variety of beers. Taco Tuesday lured us in, and we really enjoyed the place. The service is great and the tacos were delicious. Very unique flavor and they were really large and satisfying. They even had an amazing float in the Mardi Gras parade Saturday. Come check out the plains taproom!

Great place for a laid-back chill. The selection of beer is nice and varied. Awesome to make your own flights. Very kid friendly. It offers kids meals that come with a toy. Food was pretty good. I think it depends on what you order. The wings were cooked perfectly but did not have a lot of Guinness sauce. Bacon and Jalapeno Tater Kegs were very good. The hot chicken and waffles were surprisingly sweet! It has a very nice patio area out front with a cornhole set and a TV. I will definitely be back!

Love the self-pour concept and the excellent beer selection! Wine options for the beer snobs. High-end pub food like these Wagyu sliders to boot! Check these folks out!

Great experience!! The workers were incredibly friendly and helpful with navigating the self pour area. It was so much fun to try several different options. The food was tasty too! We tried the Classic Chili Cheese Fries and the Smoked Wagyu and Bacon Sliders. Our only complaint was that the buns were a bit hard on the sliders. We will definitely be back!

Pretty laid back. Like being able to pour as much as you want. Nice variety of beer, but would've like a couple more dark beers. The Icelandic Lager was a good surprise. Food was great.

This is a live review, sitting in the lobby as I write this so I haven’t even finished my experience here and I’m ready to brag. The food here is TOP TIER. Chef’s kiss. Beer is easy to pour and lots of options. Great for family’s and kids. Come here now.

Great food, love the atmosphere! My daughter Libby (who works there) was very helpful in teaching me how the taps process works! Fernando is an excellent cook, and has some tasty recipes! Fav tap is wild leap strawberry mango wine cocktail! Yumm!!

My family and I were in town for our son's soccer tournament, and had a delightful afternoon at The Plains Taproom. The food was wonderful, and we were able to sample brands we had never tried before without buying an entire beverage. The family-friendly atmosphere meshed well with the college-aged patrons on the other side of the establishment for a time for both parties. We will be back for sure!

I love the plains taproom. Honestly, a pour bar is my favorite bar. The food is really great with good atmosphere. Scott and the other owners know how to get perfect craft beer events put together, so it’s been lively and fun each time. I highly recommend getting some apps and trying a few brews.

I enjoyed getting to sample several kinds of beers and not having to wait to get the attention of a bar tender. The environment is casual with a lot of space for hanging out or playing board games.

If you have kids, this place is a must! The atmosphere is so comfortable and inviting and they have games and toys for all ages. The food is also delicious!

This place is the new place to be in Auburn! It is just what this city needed. It is good for all ages due to it being family friendly. Which I like. So if you’re 21 and above grab a card and sample every tap they have and if you’re under 21 go and taste their food and play the games they have there. Super nice employees as well. That’s hard to find these days!

Great family friendly atmosphere! Excellent food, my favorite is the ox tail loaded fries. Maybe a pumpkin flavored beer on tap would be cool to try! Haha.

I've been to this location multiple times and I have always had a great time! Evey employee is so nice and accommodating! I had an issue where my card was charged incorrectly and the manager Matt was able to quickly resolve the issue. I highly recommend the Braised Beef Nacho Fries, they are DELICIOUS!

Awesome atmosphere and the owners show amazing support to all customers. My kids also love playing with the legos while I sip cold brews. Food is fresh and great quality.

Was great to be able to try so many great beers & ciders! They also have 3 different wines. We had the boiled peanuts. So good! We were there during the Auburn vs Arkansas basketball game. Fun!

Great atmosphere and service. Great selection of taps with beer, wine, and seltzers. The self-pour system is very easy to use. Food is delicious. It is very family friendly with games and kids' meal options.

The food was amazing and the ambiance was very chill. Lots of beer options from ciders to Stouts and everything in between. If you come here try the Oxtail and Porter Gravy Disco Fries!!!
