Red Wing - Lubbock, TX

Store only had one pair of boots of the model I was looking for in stock. They were a similar size to what I wear in my other pair of RWs. Tried them on and they fit perfectly. Andrew let me know they were on sale also, which made the visit that much better.

The lady who helped me was very nice, very helpful knowledgeable and helped me find the best fitting boot with Insoles. She was very patient and we talked. It was a great experience as I always have had the best boots and experience at red wings!

My husband has had some heel pain … we’ve been all over Lubbock looking for a workboot he can wear and get some relief … Selena took care of us … and his feet are happy and pain free so far!! The customer service was over the top!! I can’t say enough about how cared for he felt . Selena knows boots, fit, and comfort. This is a service that I thought was completely lost to self serve technology!! We will be buying all our workboots and hunting boots from here in the future! Good customer service and knowledge of the products offered is still alive and well in this store!!

Great selection of in stock work boots. This is the first time I have had a real and through fitting, the young lady really knows her products and which last are best for your foot.

Great experience, staff and boots!! I purchased a pair of boots today (3/20/21) first thing, this morning. I did not catch the gentleman's name who helped me but he was great! I gathered all the crew in there working were all helpful judging by what I saw. Obviously, solid boots since I have bought Red Wings before but my whole experience was 5 stars and will surely be back. I am going to recommend this Red Wing store to all my family and friends.

Red Wing Lubbock was amazing the previous review that was written was about the Odessa TX store from another G-mail account. I have tried to delete it, but it would not allow me to. They went above and beyond to help me and I greatly appreciate it. I highly recommend this store Thank you agin.

This is my second pair of boots from the store. Not quite the same experience but the same end result. Boots to die for. Well worth the cost. Take care of them and they will last with comfort.

For the record my first set lasted almost four years.

Recently moved to the area and was delighted to find out we have a dedicated Red Wing dealer in town. I had ripped the left tongue on my five year old Iron Ranger 8115s. Staff was very helpful in getting it sent off for repair. Came back faster than expected and substantially under the quoted price. Staff was happy to talk about the boots, clearly care about their products. I'll be back for another pair soon, I think. Highly recommend!

Today I was greeted by Selena. She was nothing short of amazing. I've never had a better shoe shopping experience!

The gentleman who helped me was very knowledgeable and friendly. You wouldn't know it from looking at the outside, but they have a pretty large selection of work boots. Great experience. They also offer military discount. Thanks guys.

Redwing called and apologized for the inconvenience. They were very professional and now stock the laces I need. They have made a loyal customer! Thanks Redwing!

I have a complaint to file for the retail store in Lubbock, TX.

I bough my pair of RedWing Heritage Blacksmith boots about 6 months ago. I buy virtually everything online but decided to enjoy the convenience of using the retail store which is just down the street from my house. I enjoyed my first experience shopping in this retail location and have loved my boots since I have purchased them.

About 2 weeks ago one of my laces broke and I though to myself, "hey, this is great. I can just run to my local retail dealer and pick up a pair of replacement laces and I will not skip a beat." This is where I troubles began. I walked into the retail location and the sales person did not seem to know what they were talking about. They did not know which pair of laces I needed for my boots and recommended a pair that were not made for my style. The only pair of laces they had in stock were too short and were black, not the brown color that goes with my model. I asked the sales person if more were on order... She said yes (apparently a lie) and that they would contact me when they came in. I really needed my boots that day so I asked them to sell me a pair from one of the boots sitting in a box in the back of the store and then to replace those laces when they new order came in. She said no. I asked her to call her manager which she did and the manager also said no. They were concerned that they would sell out of these boots before the shipment of new laces and would have to turn a new boot buyer away because they boots they wanted to buy did not have laces. It is inconceivable that they would sell out of that many 300 dollar boots before a shipment of laces which was apparently already on its way would arrive. I decided to abandon my pursuit of acquiring a new pair of boot laces and asked them to call me when their shipment arrived.

No call...

I called RedWing more than a week later and they told me they still do not have laces and that the only option I had was to purchase the short black laces which were not made for my boot. They told me they would not be stocking my style of laces in the store. To this I ask, what is the point of even having a retail operation if you can't buy something as simple as replacement laces for a very common and basic pair of boots they do stock and sell. The time is now for retail operations to stay as relevant as possible by supplying these basic products. When a pair of laces breaks.... you need the convenience of driving to your nearest RedWing retail outlet and getting a quick replacement pair. It is bad service for me to have to wait for now 3 weeks to get a new pair of laces for a pair of boots I love. They sales lady explained to my that she could sell me 12 sets of laces and only then would she place an order for new laces for me. I would have to purchase all 12 pair... Unbelievable. In the end, there never were laces on order. The sales person either lied to me or was lied to by her manager about the order being placed in order to appease a disgruntled customer. I am very disappointed in the runaround I have been given my this retail operation about something as simple and fundamental as shoelaces. I love my boots. I think RedWing makes a great product. I am happy to support RedWing which is why I feel compelled to lodge this complaint. I will not be buying another pair from this retail location until they begin acting more with the customer in mind.
