Amazing! This was the best restaurant experience I have had in a long time. Billy greeted me at the door with a smile and a handshake. Katie made the best old fashioned I have had in years. The bison burger and home fries were delicious. Absolutely recommend. I will be back often. Thank you, Billy!

I called in an order for a breaded chicken burger with Muenster and fries along with two sides for my daughter (mac and cheese and red potatoes). I also ordered a piece of chocolate cake. I believe the bartender took my order. When I arrived, I let the hostess know I was picking up a to-go order. My only complaint is she could have been more welcoming. (I’m sorry I didn’t know that to-go orders are picked up at the bar. My bad.) Everything was beautifully packed. The bartender even made sure I had napkins, forks and condiments which was helpful as I’m staying at a local hotel. Back at my room, I took one bite of the chicken hanging over the bun and had to stop to get my phone. I knew this was going to be the best chicken burger this side of the Mississippi 😉! Crispy and juicy. Just perfect! I look forward to eating in the restaurant or ordering to go on my next trip. My daughter liked the sides she ordered. I don’t have more details from her as she’s not feeling good, which is why we didn’t eat in the restaurant. We’re going to share the chocolate cake later. It looks delicious. I was in a hurry to tell the world about the BEST CHICKEN BURGER ever!

Beautifully decorated for the Christmas holidays, Me & Billy is a winner all around. Great service, and amazing food and drinks. Everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their dinner. Huge portions, so bring your appetite and be prepared to take home some for later!

The owner actually greeted customers and chatted with many as they entered and exited.

Swung by here after my original plans for the afternoon fell out, and had a meal and some drinks by myself. The food was lovely, I got the Billy burger with the glazed carrots, the stacked chocolate cake, and a couple of cocktails that I had my server choose for me.
Server was also a delight, and a man (which I assume may have been the owner ?) Also stopped by to see how I was liking the cake after I returned from the bathroom. Some of the other staff I briefly interacted with were also very friendly and helpful.
Despite it being a busy Saturday afternoon/evening, it still felt comfortable and not at all crowded either. Plus I rather enjoyed the music they played whilst I was there.
Overall I had a great time! Excluding the tip, I spent around $47 on everything and it was certainly worth it!

Waiter was AMAZING! I think his name was Jack. The food was delicious, and prices were decent. The owner checked on everybody in the restaurant. Very clean...including the bathroom!! DEFINITELY recommend this place! Oh yea, that cherry cobbler is everything!

Me & Billy restaurant and bar has salads, a few sandwich options, and you can build your own burger with a wide variety of toppings. They also carry four trademark dishes, a NY strip steak, shrimp and grits, beef short ribs, and a bone-in pork chop. The rustic crab dip appetizer is cheesy goodness you can spread on crostini. The truffle NY strip is amazing, crusty outside, tender inside, and topped with truffle butter. It is served on a bed of smashed red potatoes and a side of brussel sprouts. Me & Billy has daily drink specials and offers two desserts, a stacked chocolate cake and a seasonal fruit cobler, typically with rhubarb and another fruit, topped with whipped cream. The upscale atmosphere and great service make this a fantastic choice for dinner if you are in downtown Davenport.

We enjoyed another awesome lunch today at Me & Billy. I tried the Franny Berger for the first time, and I'm pretty sure there's enough cheese to satisfy a Wisconsin Cheese Head. The Franny has a burger, a burger sized cheese curd and American Cheese on a pretzel bun plus house cheese sauce for dipping your burger or the natural cut fries. So good. Congrats on 10 years in downtown Davenport! Also, Billy always stops to say "hello and thank you".

Amazing service and atmosphere. Roomy environment and they were all decorated for Christmas. Felt like a restaurant out of a movie. My Bison burger was great and the cheese curds were the best I have EVER had!

Wow! Delicious food. Fast and friendly service. Nice atmosphere. We had a server who was in training and doing an excellent job with a very friendly person training them. It was nice having the attentive and thoughtful service of two people for our meal. The house-made veggie patty is very delicious.

I honest to goodness have not had better cheese curds anywhere in my life. The burger was so flavorful and cooked to perfection I didn’t need sauces (and I’m a ketchup girl). My daughter got the NY Strip and it was incredible. Clean, great atmosphere, love the open space and distance between tables so you can walk to your table or to the bathroom without having to squeeze between and disrupt people. On top of it all, our server Sierra was fantastic. Attentive and friendly!

I had wanted to check out Me & Billy's bar and grill for some time. Let me tell you they did not disappoint! My experience was phenomenal and I will definitely be back. I was welcomed and seated right away by such a friendly maitre d. My menu was brought in a quick fashion along with some nice cold water, I had been given sufficient enough time to study the menu and decide what to order. My waitress was kind and energetic with just the right attitude and trawl. I ordered the pork tenderloin (breaded) that came with the house fries, all for 12 bucks. My food order came so fast that it surprised me and it was so delicious and mouth watering. My fries were to die for but the tenderloin was so ginormous that I couldn't finish my fries. Definitely recommend (dish, service, ambiance) Amazing 5 stars

Great ambiance with eclectic style. Our server Sarah was awesome. My mom told her it was my birthday and she came back to our table with a delish chocolate cheese cake (I despise cheesecake)! We started off with the amazing nachos with a plan for a full meal. Needless to say, the nachos are huge. We plan to try their Trademark shrimp and Grits another time. Highly Recommend! Went to Me & Billy before a show at the Adler. Wonderful atmosphere, super clean and friendly owner stopped by to check on us. The food was excellent - our sides (green beans and smashed potatoes) were a not as hot as we'd like but the flavor wonderful. We will return. The best part, besides the food, is that there's a decent amount of room between tables - you're not packed in so close you have to hear other guests' conversations. If I owned a restaurant, this would how I would want it to be.

Fantastic restaurant! The food menu and bar offer a lot of delicious diversity. I had the Crab Napoleon appetizer as an entrees and it was delicious. My husband had the deluxe darn big grilled cheese and it was also great. Can't wait to come back and sample more on the menu. Addition...😀 First visit back since the apartment collapse caused the closure. They are firing on all cylinders and serving fantastic food as always. The staff is doing great too. So glad they're up and running again. This visit featured some great seasonal cocktails. Super delicious and fun.

My second visit here and have never been disappointed. What more can you ask for when the owner greets you, thanks for your business, food quality is from the freshest ingredients, and cooking from a make to order kitchen.

Highly recommended as a must stop if you are in the Davenport area.

I don’t think I can rave enough about this place. Ate here twice this week and make it a point to visit at least once every time I’m in town.

Why the update and add of a star (to 5)? Pride of ownership, professionalism, friendliness, a scratch kitchen, all qualities of a bygone era. I could go on but I think the points are made.

The best Bison (added bacon) I’ve ever had…and one of the best burgers I’ve ever had…anywhere. The soups….AMAZING.

The cheese curds…the cheese curds…the cheese curds. I know…yeah yeah I’ve had them before…these are the best. Seriously.

Lastly, it’s a family run and operated business and I just enjoy seeing it do well. It’s not just good food for Davenport, Iowa. It would be great in any city including NY LA Chicago…period.

Eating here is a must if you are anywhere near. I’d go so far as recommending a special trip as Davenport is a revitalized, historical town that has maintained it’s architecture….a very neat downtown scene indeed.

The food was amazing!! We had the nachos, cheese curds, and build your own "burgers". I chose grilled chicken. I highly suggest the bacon onion marmalade as a topping!!

Stopped in for a late lunch and it was a perfect experience! We ordered the pommes frites, beatnik salad, and Billy burger. All of them were delicious in their own right, but the Beatnik Salad in particular was so good we tried to recreate it at home! Service was friendly and very attentive. Everytime I glanced around the servers were busy - not a single phone in sight! Billy himself was walking around and checking on customers. He was welcoming and sweet. We felt so cared for! The vibe is cute, kind of a retro modern twist. We will definitely be back the next time we visit davenport!!

Absolutely amazing restaurant. Food is great, portion sizes are just right, and the prices are just right. Been here a few times now on work trips and I will make it back again to try more of this amazing menu. If you can have Logan or Sierra as a server they're both amazing and you'll have great service, a friendly smile and attitude. All of the food tasted amazing and was top notch. If you're in town you would be doing yourself a disservice.

Fran and Mary were great in helping me reserve a room for our staff holiday party. Atmosphere was amazing. Food was amazing. Bartenders were amazing. Prices were very reasonable. I would definitely recommend them for a party space. We have eaten in the restaurant multiple times as well, and it is always a new and fresh menu and they always hit it out of the park!
