This is a very good appliance store. Local Mom and Pop kind of business, which is something Illinois needs more of now than ever. Very professional and treated me very well. Purchased my new chest freezer from this business, and I am happy with my purchase. They handled my warranty info, so I didn't have to worry about it myself. They even offered to deliver it, but I paid cash and brought my truck to pick it up. But the fact that they deliver may be something I will need at another time. The prices here are competitive with big box stores like Menards, too. Big plus there for me. I like to buy local and from local businesses because mom and pop shops are the backbone of America. I buy from them when I can. I recommend this store for anyone needing a new major home appliance. Do yourself a favor and stop in and give them your business. Their customer service is stellar and worth a few c dollars more for a quality appliance.

They are always there quickly when my family needs them!

We purchased all new appliances from Rogers, thinking a local establishment would have better service/maintenance. Everything is good except for the Kitchenaid refrigerator. First it was the water dispenser which is working properly now. Then it was and still is, the ice maker. We have been without an ice maker since last November 2019. Whenever I call about repairs I get the old runaround, basically, don’t call us we’ll call you. It was decided that a new door containing the ice maker was needed and one was ordered. Finally after several weeks one did arrive but was dented. I refused it. I am still waiting. I was in the Effingham store in April to buy a new water filter and asked again, about the repairs. Manager said he would call the Altamont store and see about the new door and I am still waiting for a reply. I have even written to the Kitchenaid company and have not heard from them either.

I bought a used fridge and the ice make didn't work, they refused to fix it. Now I have had the fridge for less then 5 months and it stopped working. I know it's used but it should last longer. Now I'm out 500 bucks and can't buy another one and all my food thawed out.

Very bad experience folks. AVOID to save money. After 3 service calls we made to them to fix our fridge, it is still broken. We've given up and will be placing a call to another business here in Effingham.
