Anita deep conditioned and cut my hair two weeks ago. She was very thorough and my hair felt and looked amazing afterward. Today she did a byalage highlight color treatment to my whole head and a blowout. She was able to hide all of my grey hairs and my hair feels very healthy. I am absolutely in love with the result. I feel like a new woman! Also Keith has cut my son's very curly hair a few times and he is absolutely ecstatic every time Keith works his magic. I highly recommend Kultureshock Salon and Barbershop. I will never trust my hair with anyone else ever again!!!

My 6 year old grandson were visiting me from out of state needed a haircut. I called and they took me that same day. The barber did an exceptional awesome haircut. He was so patience and good my grandson didn't even cry. They both are very nice, warm and friendly people. The place was very clean and welcoming. I recommend this place. I'm happy to say this will be my new permanent place. Thank You both and God blessed

Anita’s hands are magic with any head of hair she works on. 1000000% would recommend her every single time. She is wonderful. She took care of both of my daughters . I will be a forever customer!!

Keith was so nice and did a great job! My daughter needed the side of her head reshaved and really wanted some hearts as well. She absolutely loved the results and we will DEFINITELY be returning.

I have a 2 yr old son who is disabled and needed a haircut. I came to Kulture Shock Salon due to a family member who had previously went there. Family member told me they cut hair well. So I took my son last minute and they took us in right away. The stylist was really patience and sweet to my son. She made us feel welcome. I'm glad to say I'll be going there again.

Absolutely Love this place!!! Me and my family have been coming here for over year now. Anita is amazing and always works her magic on my hair. I always walk out feeling like a million bucks :) Love the atmosphere. I always feel like family when i come here. Highly recommend :)

Moved to Mt Prospect in May. Have been going to this place since. 3rd time today and can’t be more happy with the cut each and every time. It’s hard to get my 5 year old to go and get a haircut as it is but he loves going now. Thank you Rossy your the best!!

We had an amazing experience today! Anita did a marvelous job cutting my daughter's extremely long hair. My girl was super nervous this morning and by the time her hair was done, she was glowing. I've always had bad luck when it's come to my hair, not this time!! Anita is the woman to go to!!!! Thank you so much!! We are so happy 😊

Warm atmosphere, friendly conversation. Keith was very attentive to my needs: what do I expect, how do I like my hair, last time cut even what type of music! etc... things that most barbers don't ask. Turns out, I said do whatever you want. The results was fantastic and pretty much the way I would have asked him to except better! My wife said "WOW, great haircut!" Even co-workers noticed ! I'll be back and make another comment or too...maybe a pic as well.

We had an amazing experience bringing our almost 2 year old in for his 1st hair cut. We arrive at closing and they generously opened up and talked with me and answered my questions. They educated me on how to take care of our sons hair. They didn't parent or hair shame me but really taught me how to best care for our child's hair. We were only here for the weekend and they brought us in like family and were just amazing. Thank you! Highly highly recommended this establishment. (Disclaimer ... we are a white, Caucasian, family that adopted a little boy that is black African American/Hispanic)

I got a WONDERFUL haircut- total style- from Anita today. I couldn't be happier. I went in with uneven hair (I cut it myself) and told her to do whatever she wanted. She asked me some questions, took her time, and I walked out with beautifully styled hair! No more home haircuts for me.

I love this place! I think my first time was about a year ago, I had really short short my mistake, I guess I didn’t learn the first time I did it several years ago haha. But Keith helped fade it and line the back and Anita helped cut the top and made it look a lot better and helped me feel better. Now that’s it’s grown out a lot I work with Anita to get it styled and highlights/color. Even though Keith doesn’t cut my hair anymore he still says hi and checks in. I alway love going in and you feel welcomed. They are a very caring family owned business and every step of the way Anita will explain what she is doing and ask if your okay so that way you don’t leave feeling uncomfortable with the cut or color. They really care about the people coming in for help haha I would definitely recommend them!

Boy did they come through. Anita was precise, listened to my wants, and delivered the best cut I’ve had in a year. Bonus points, for being a local family owned business, my preferred businesses to patronize!

Best place to get a haircut! Was my first time and I'm glad I stopped by and checked it out. Keith did a great job! Also, Ms. Faye? Not sure if that was her name, was such a delight even though she didn't do my hair, she's part of the deal. Highly recommend. Be patient, great work takes time.

Moved to Mount Prospect in August. Looking for a place to get a haircut. This place is awesome to go to. The barber, Keith is a really cool guy and he hooked me up with a nice cut when I came there for the first time. The second time he had his new barber cut my hair and she was really good. Also, she was really nice. I recommend this place especially if you are new in town.

Fantastic individual full service. They also educated me about how I can improve the health of my hair.
