Scott County Treasurer's Office

I just called the Scott County Treasurers office and the lady that answered the phone was very friendly and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I’ve been there several times in the past 12 years and have always been treated courteously and promptly.

Had a vehicle to title and get registration for and for all of the bad remarks the DMV gets I have had the most professional experience with the employees that work for Treasures office. They have a system to set a appointment by computer or by calling if you don't have a computer. Peoplecome in not knowing this but the ladies down there ask if they have a appointment and some don't use computers but I watched as the employees kept a smile on their face and offered to see if they could help them if it wasn't a lengthy procedure to fix. I don't think the people of Scott County know how lucky we are we have great people working for us. Keep up the great work.

The staff has always been helpful to me. On one occasion, I threw them a real curve-ball with a vehicle registration which they were (rightfully) incapable of granting because of a documentation issue on my end. They called me at home later that afternoon to discuss more options for me. They went above & beyond in that instance.

Excellent service! Angie was my clerk, I recently moved back into the state and needed to transfer plates, title… I moved from an E File state, Angie was extremely patient and looked into all the information I needed for the transfer.

The County General Store up at the Village Shopping Center is 5 Star! Last year I went in to renew my plates and they put me at the beginning of the line to talk to the drivers license people (for the 3rd time) about their inability to send me my drivers license. The cashier apologized to me for the inconvenience I was going through having to come back and having to wake up when I usually sleep(I work nights). Repeat- she apologized, the DMV people never did....
