Keefer's Pharmacy

I've ordered pet meds from Keefer's twice, and both times they've delivered earlier than expected.

For this most recent order, we had been sent to Wedgewood Pharmacy by our vet for critical meds my cat needs to prevent seizures from a brain tumor. Wedgewood would delay our order without contacting us, lied about delivery dates, and yanked us around for almost a month. They kept using the time it takes to compound the liquid as an excuse for the weeks delay.

My vet finally called Keefer's on our behalf, and they had the needed meds on our doorstep the very next day. What Wedgewood said would take weeks took Keefer's one afternoon. They understood our stress and urgency, and they delivered the best possible customer service experience. We will be loyal Keefer's customers from here on out for our pet meds.

Keefer's is great. I have a special compound that I have been prescribed and this is one of the few Pharmacies that can make as they are the only one that the special ingredient that is needed to make the compound. They were friendly when I first went to fill the script. Since then I have used their delivery service, as they are not that close to me. They say you will have at between a time frame and it is there.

Keefer's is doing the job for me........I feel that I am not just another Rx number, but someone that they want to help.

I love Keefer's. As a kid, I went there every week for the penny candy. As an adult, I go there periodically for pharmacy items (and still the penny candy).
For decades the business was located in Mount Prospect, but a few years ago they moved to Arlington Heights.
It is interesting and important to note that Keefer's specializes in making compound and flavored medication. They do a huge pet medicine business! Vets and pet clients all over the country order their medicine. My dad's cat loved his roasted chicken flavor medicine and always took it with no struggle! They also do many flavors of liquid medicine for humans. This is great especially for children.

Fast friendly service for my pet meds.

Keefer's went out of their way to special order and ingredient for my rabbits. They even stated they would drive it to me if they couldn't get it from UPS in time! Now THAT is service! I am very impressed with them!!

I have purchased several compounded prescriptions for my self and a pet cat. Excellent service, the pharmacist explained everything in detail. Highly recommend.

Strange but I really enjoy going to this pharmacy. It’s far from my home but the great service and polite people make the trip worth it. They also sell old school candy which is so cool.
