West High School

This school far surpassed every expectation the community led us to beleive. My son graduated with 24 transferable engineering related college credits, and 4 years experience with robotics design and programming. My daughter meet some of the most respectable friends I could imagine a teenager to have, and also earned some team building and engineering experience in her year in attendance. I was very disappointed that we had to move, but we will likely make efforts to move back into the area of the opportunity presents itself.

Thank you to all of the staff for doing their best with my family.

Some people say that West is not fun, but really, the experience is based on upon how you make it. How do you perceive your future? Fun? Boring? Based on stupidity? Based on knowledge? West is a high school where your everyday values can be tested. What high school isn't? People can say whatever they want, but high school in general can either make you or break you. High school is another stepping stone towards adult hood.

West high school is a growing and learning experience. I would say that my best moments were spent during my four year of being there. And they weren't the best four years of my life, but they weren't the worse. For me, it was a learning experience - both outside and inside of school. I don't regret one day of being there. Wouldn't have had it any other way.

Davenport West High School is awesome. Woods Class is awesome too. It's fun to cut wood into things for a grade. It is fun to put them on the shelf at home. It is fun to look at it on the shelf at home. It is fun when the wood thing disappears from the shelf at home. It is fun when you have a bonfire the next night. It is fun when you go to school. It is fun when you are attacked by a flock of penguins will clubs in the parking lot. It is fun when you see an unmarked van driving by with "Free Spinners" on the side. It is is fun when there are cockroaches that try to climb up and into your underwear. The nurse is the best. If you are feeling sick, she gives you a dixie cup of water and a saltine. If you are shot in the head you get your temperature taken through your ear. If you are projectile vomiting, you get a mint and a complementary colonoscopy.

My child has exceeded academically and physically at this school. Great coaching staff and great teachers! So positive and family orientated.

This cosmic dance of bursting decadence and withheld permissions twists all our arms collectively, but if sweetness can win, and it can, then I'll still be here tomorrow, to high five you yesterday my friend. Peace.

It's not that good here

i went this school because of my mom i hate that school they have issue there launch room dont have a trush omg so nasty west high school is a poor school the teacher so mean, i went back to north high school; north high school is a good community best year book and the art class the teacher very nice they give me a A+ i like the school at north they have the best lauch room i cant understand west because of vietnamese they have to go to west they have esl vietnamese need to learn to speak english, my english is fine, i recommed best high school north and bettendorf
