Comfort Inn & Suites Decatur-Forsyth

Excellent stay. Clean and updated rooms. Bed was very comfortable with a nice down comforter. Plenty of restaurant choices in the immediate area. The only issue was lack of parking for large trucks or vehicles with trailers.

This hotel is great. Location is close to lots of shopping and restaurants but you don't hear all the loudness of all the traffic. Staff is friendly and helpful. They provide housekeeping on a daily. Rooms are spacious and the king rooms have fold out couch beds to.

all around a great hotel! Friendly, spacious, breakfast buffet is well put together and good!
Pool, exercise room, and laundry all available to the customer and very clean. Would 100% stay here again!

The staff is wonderful. The rooms were really clean smelled great. I will definitely stay again and tell my family and friends about this place.

Service was great all the way round we stayed 2 nights there. The front desk guy was great. The breakfast was neatly put together and check often. The house keeper made sure we had enough stuff for our stay. Will be going back again

Rooms here are comfortable and spacious. They give room services regularly, if needed. They breakfast here was great 👍. The staff at this hotel is very friendly.

So I spent another night 4-28-23, different room, and yet, same excellent experience. I love this hotel, so much better then their reputation. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, everything else can be read below.
Easy 5 stars. Highly recommend !!!!!!

I stayed here on Valentine's Day, in between medical appointments, and was completely surprised and very pleased about what I found. Upon checking the receptionist was very kind and friendly and even offered assistance with my bags to the room if I so desired. He explained the breakfast buffet in the morning and provided me with the keys to my room. The room itself was huge, the bed incredible and everything was immaculately clean. The bathroom had extra towels and so many little extras, you would not expect. The field was definitely that of a very high class establishment. I also had no problems with noises at night, which was very nice. In the morning when I went to the breakfast bar I expected to find the traditional coffee and bagels, in addition to that I found three different juices, danishes, cereal and oatmeal, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs and waffle makers. In addition they were freshly made scrambled eggs and sausages as well as biscuits and gravy. The gravy was not just colored water and actually had sausage inside of it, I had nothing to possibly complain about. Up on checkout, again everything was very quick and efficient, I was asked if there was anything that could have been improved up on, which there was not and I will definitely choose this hotel again if in need. I can only recommend the comfort inn & suites in Decatur and hope that you will give this a chance on your trip through town. In a nutshell I can only say, it was simply perfect.

Hospitable, Caring, Safe and Clean!
1st great location. Superb parking. Parking for 18 wheelers, pull behind trailers with easy parking and access. Not many hotels can provide that service. That being said. You also dont have to worry about your vehicle nor what's attached to it. There are plenty of cameras with live feed recording 24 hrs. This my friend is the security you have been looking for when traveling.
2nd The staff and people. Very hospitable, knowledgeable with the area, friendly (like being at home). Yes, I speak with the staff everywhere I go. These people are happy to be there and it shows.
3rd The environment. Very clean and sanitary. No, hairs in the shower. Toilet in the rooms (the two that I stayed in) were clean even behind the toilets. Yes, the one open to the public near the lobby was also clean and well kept. The refrigerator, floors, walls, all clean. The bed was medium to soft and very comfortable. The rooms were quiet and safe. One thing, you may notice a little funky smell coming off the elevator near the pool. This is to be expected due to the beautiful inside pool. It's moisture in the air created by the pool. I've noticed this at other locations that I've stayed that were not related to this hotel. It's because of inside pools and the moisture they create. The smell could be covered up a little better but then they would have to deal with peoples scent allergies. So, there, is the catch 22.
4th The hot breakfast. Sausage, eggs, grits... yes grits! I'm from the South so this is a big deal. They were cooked correctly! Hats off to the cook! She was awesome and accomplished.

I called several other hotels before deciding upon this one. Johnny, and his hospitality pretty much sealed the deal.

This was one of the nicest budget hotels I have ever stayed in. Much of it was comparable to fancier, higher priced ones, in fact. The bed was very comfortable & large; the room was very clean, & had a nice view; the bathroom had a large vanity, & was spotless, with large, plentiful toweling; it was extremely quiet; offered an indoor pool, fitness room, & a small, buffet style breakfast in a decent sized dining area; the lobby was immaculate & nicely designed; complimentary daily papers were provided; & the front desk clerk could not have been nicer, or more helpful. It had a few minor drawbacks, but nothing that would prevent me from staying again. I was extremely pleased with my 2 night stay.

The staff was nice and the location was perfect. I felt safe in this location. I would stay here again. Texas Roadhouse was right across the street.

Listen, My entire family ran the holiday inn in Indianapolis for several years, in fact my first job was in that hotel. I travel for work at least 7 days out of every month, I’ve stayed in 15+ hotels this year so far and I cannot remember which one was which, this hotel I will never forget. I brought my wife and 1 month old baby to this establishment and did not regret it a single time. Cleanliness is a 10/10 hospitality and service 10/10. There is a lady named Monique here who runs the breakfast buffet and whoever put Monique in charge hit a home run. The food is excellent but much more then that Monique was excellent, I would never stay anywhere in the area before coming to this hotel. Rooms were awesome, big TV very modern and clean and the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, especially Monique, you cannot train those types of people. Great experience, CHOOSE THIS HOTEL, it will not disappoint!

Wonderful hotel. Very spacious single-bed room. It was clean and cool. One of the nicest locations I've been. The clerk was friendly and polite. Very professional. I've been to many Comfort Inns and they range in "comfort level", but this one is doing things right!!! Amazing experience.

Very nice the moment we arrived the outside grounds seemed to very well maintained . The Lobby area was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. Our room was very clean some of the decor a little out dated but ok for the room rate ,air conditioning worked fantastic as the outside temps are comparable to August only its june . Bathroom was clean tub,toilet and shower were all in great working condition. We will definitely stay here again.

Very nice room. Everything was clean and organized. Stayed two nights in a king suite. The staff was very polite and helped with whatever I needed. Will consider coming back in the future.

The breakfast was very good the lady was very good it was a little different she would make the eggs and potatoes and bacon
Rooms and I tire business was clean and repaired good did notice there was a door not working at the end of the hall and the pool was closed. But it was a good stay

Great folks to talk to. The young lady who takes care of the breakfast area in the morning, always have a bright smile and eagered to serve you a hot breakfast. Her smile was as bright as a cloudless sunshine.
Rooms were very comfortable and up to date. Definitely worth coming back to again and again.

It was a pleasure staying at the Welcome Hotel and Suites in Decatur, Illinois. I am a comedienne and I travel extensively. I had 4 days to stay somewhere before moving on to Michigan, and this was a perfect place. It was clean and quiet. My King room had a refrigerator and microwave, perfect for making and keeping food for my extended stay. The hot breakfast buffet is wonderful as well and complimentary. There is always coffee brewing in the downstairs lobby and guests are friendly as they sit and watch TV in the lounge. The hotel staff is also friendly and Ashley who checked me in was professional and helpful. I did my laundry here and got some work done on the fast free wifi while I watched some of my favorite shows on HBO. I also enjoyed swimming in the pool up until midnight, and I got my workout in at an odd hour, because it's available to guests 24 hours, which made it super accessible! The hotel is conveniently located and affordable. I would definitively stay here again in my travels.

Great Place very nice and friendly people. They are in the process of remodeling, so be patient. Even tho the rooms are very nice. I’ll be back again if and when needed.
