We love their pizzas and salads!! Haven’t tried the other menu items but I bet they’re great! The people who work there have always been very kind and friendly! Never had a bad experience!

My favorite pizza in the area! The dough is the perfect texture - not too bready like most other pizza places on the south shore tend to be. Their other menu items are great as well (especially their pasta) and they have a diverse selection that would appeal to pretty much anyone. Their business is small but clean, and the staff are always extremely friendly. An overall solid pizza place that will be my go-to from now on.

My only requests:
1. Teriyaki chicken subs
2. Less salt in the caramelized onions

I had the steak bomb and my brother ordered a pizza both were very good. I'm from New York so when it comes to pizza my standards are high lol the pizza at Rodney's is everything a pizza should be it's right up there with a lot of the New York places I like to eat at. I also had the Oreo mousse cake and that was also very good. Very pleased with the quality of the food and customer service. Everyone at Rodney's is doing an awesome job!

Best Italian sub around and the owners are great. There were barrels of winter greens out front and the owner let me take some holly for my bluebirds (who had eaten all the berries in my yard). So they fed me and my birds! Thanks Rodney's!

Really enjoyed the food from Rodney’s Kitchen! Pizza was fresh and tasty. Dough tasted very fresh. Same with the subs. Delicious and fresh bread. They were also quick in responding to an issue with the online ordering - the new system didn’t take the order and they were still able to make everything in about 10-15 mins. Will definitely be back!

I got a eggplant pizza, a steak and cheese and crab cakes and the were all fantastic. Blown away by the crab cake. Also having worked in a few pizza places his kitchen is the cleanest I've ever seen. Definitely my new go to.

If you want the best take out food, go to rodneys! The Greek salad is a piece of art and so fresh! Your doing great! Keep up the great service and quality food, we won't go anywhere else!

This place is amazing. Not your average take out. The owners are so passionate about their food. Fish and chips are amazing. Calzones are the best i have ever had. Cant wait to try the pasta dishes. You are getting clean food cooked by an amazing chef at take out prices. This food is the next level and i will be a customer for life

This is my favorite local pizza place. The food is really good. The customer service is excellent as well. My pizza fell on my leg and they were so quick to make sure I was ok, clean up and give us another pizza. It was so sweet of them.

A Hidden Jewel!!! Stopped in on our way to see my father in law and took a Butternut Squash Bisque with a half Chicken salad sandwich and an Italian Sun to go. It was made perfectly, the bisque was so flavor full and the chicken salad spot on ! The Italian sun was delicious!!! The owners were there and so personable and welcoming!! Thank you both for lunch, see you again soon!!! Keep doing what you’re doing !!

I love this place! I've had the chicken parm, calzone the pizza and I'm currently finishing the cheese filled raviolis that I bought last nite and all of it has been delicious! The pizza crust is amazing and diff from all other pizza that I've had in this area. Very welcoming staff and a welcome addition to Halifax!

The pizza was excellent. First time ordering, we got 3 different pies. All were great. We have all had pizza from a million places with mixed results. I am not here to tell you that it is the single best pizza that I've ever had, but it is top notch, priced well and superb. They obviously care about quality, and I will happily order again.

I've driven by many times and finally stopped in for lunch. The service was prompt. Burger & fries were tasty. BF really liked his steak & cheese sub. There's some nice umbrella tables and chairs outside. Nothing fancy, but I was pleasantly surprised. I'd go back.

A MILLION times better than any of the other establishments that were in this location. Every restaurant has it's hiccups in the beginning, but Rodney's keeps getting better and better.
The owner and staff are so nice and very accommodating and that's just the beginning.
Try anything with the marinara. Its good hot and cold. We've used it as a roasted tomato spread because the tomatoes are so chunky and delicious.
The Crab Cakes are perfect. TONS of crab! Really good filler, with carrots, peppers and onions for a nice take.
The calzones have an amazing thin crispy crust.
Meatballs are awesome.
The fries are crispy and stay hot. If they're a little cold they toast up even better in a toaster oven so they're ideal as leftovers.
And don't me started on desserts. Yum all around.

Awesome food! We got crab cakes, white pizza and a steak bomb calzone. Everything was delicious. The marinara sauce was the standout. I don't usually like marinara and this stuff was phenomenal! We will definitely be back!

Went there for fist time for takeout. WOW! Amazingly friendly staff and the food is better than any place I have tried in years! Pizza was awesome! Meatballs - BOMB! Pasta and Sauce w Chicken Parma - amazing! What a hidden gem!! Wont stay that way for long!

Sandwich was delicious (chicken was crispy), bread was great, perfect amount of sauce and would highly recommend a sub from here.

What a surprise, and such a hidden gem! Delicious, immaculate and so welcoming. I only just discovered this place, but I have a feeling Rodney will be doing a lot of cooking for my family now haha! Whether we're wanting a quick burger and fries or homemade soup and fresh sole or a saltimbocca, this place is now the top of my list!
