We came in with a big party (I believe we called ahead), and the service was prompt and accurate! They always do a great job with us and they know my parents orders without really needing told. 🤣 My family loves it here. Thanks for being reliably good!

The spinach feta and mushroom omelet is the best I have had!! I get the fried catfish and it is also great!! Diamonds has a wide menu. Service is superb!! Food is always fresh. Prices are reasonable. Will be back.

Family owned, top-notch, servers and staff. Owners are constantly checking on customers and interacting with their staff and supporting them. One of the best run restaurants I’ve been to in my entire life.

Great place. No music so the noise level was lower. Great atmosphere. Quality décor. Quick service. And friendly staff.

Great local place to eat ANY meal. We arrived about 45 minutes before the 10 o'clock close. Hannah too great care of our rather large party. Food was fresh and all fresh prepared. If your looking for local (we do as much as possible as we we travel) place to eat, this is the place!!!

Ninety-nine percent of the time there is great service. This time we had a waitress that did not bring our appetizers, I had to ask another waitress for it . She was very sweet and brought the food on over. The other waitress never came back to the table to see if we needed anymore to drink, nothing. However I do recommend this place the food is wonderful and we usually have wonderful service.

Great service, food, and portion sizes. Would definitely recommend to a friend! If you're on the fence, it's definitely worth the stop.

I would like to commend Jesse for doing such a great job in serving us. So professional and did an extra mile to make my friend’s birthday special. It seems like he loves his job.

A big group of us came in on black Friday. The parking lot was full so we were anticipating a wait time for a table. They immediately got us seated. Service was fast and food was so fresh. Pancakes were huge.

I order to go from here about 3 to 5 times a month sometimes more me and my dad eat breakfast here about twice a month on Saturday staff is always friendly place is always clean , now the food! Only problem I have with the food my stomach isn’t big enough for second helpings always great whether it be dine in or take out it’s great if u get a chance go eat at Diamonds next thing to eating with family

This place runs like a well oiled machine. Excellent service by people who seem to enjoy their job! Rare find these days. Great job Diamonds! We will always be returning with friendly people like you there!

The waitress we had the day of my grandmother's funeral (12/7) was the best waitress I've seen in my entire life. The food wasn't that great but she made the day! Give her a raise! I wish the whole family could have sat together other than that an ok experience.

Rarely is there a wait to be seated. Service is always great. Food is great. Prices are very reasonable.

Truly a hidden gem in Decatur!

Our hotel receptionist recommended Diamonds when we asked about local eateries. We were not disappointed! The restaurant was busy when we arrived, but we were promptly seated by a friendly hostess. Our waitress, Mariah, was very friendly and personable, and made us feel welcome. We decided on the Shrimp Fettuccini Alfredo with a chocolate shake, the Ribeye steak, and fried Walleye filets. Each dinner came with a salad which was brought to us within a few minutes. Our dinners came right on time, as soon as we had finished our salads. The shrimp dish was creamy, hot and delicious. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the shrimp was tender and not overcooked, the Alfredo sauce was tasty. The chocolate milkshake was fabulous! Not too thick, but not runny either. The ribeye steak was cooked to order, and had good flavor and texture. The walleye filets were quite good, and included one extra! The side vegetable was cooked carrots, and they were done perfectly. The dessert selection display was incredible. Pies, cakes, etc. We opted for the chocolate cream pie, ordering two pieces between the three of us, not realizing how big they would be! We really would have only needed one! It was superb!

An overall excellent experience, and would highly recommend. We will return for sure next time we visit Decatur!

This was the first time I have eaten at the Diamond Family Restaurant. The food is excellent and the service was excellent also. I didn't have to wait very long for my order and when I received it was very hot on the plate. I will eat their again very soon.😆

went on the holiday and the staff was a well oiled machine. not a long wait, tables were served and turned over quickly. great food choices and or waitress was great.. and suggested a central Illinois Staple.. the horseshoe.. thumbs up..

Good food and great service. I was welcomed when I entered and our waitress was at the table right away. Our drinks were never empty and we were asked 3 times if everything was ok.
