Tony Roma's

January 14th we enjoyed the day at the water park with some pies for the kids and adult beverages for the big kids👍 pies were cheaper than the Sugar Shack, aka “the bait shack” in the water park if you can walk up and actually pick up your own pie/drinks from Tony Roma’s
Plus they are more consistently open for food or drinks then the bait shack which is highly inconsistent with being open

Great food with fantastic flavor! Service was fast and accommodating. Able to sit outside and enjoy a nice view of the river and all the passerbyers. Not many places can have this view and experience and I think Tony Romas is a staple. The ribs are always amazing but this time I opted for pasta which was light and the sauce was perfect 👌

Great food, just like many of the other Tony Roma's. Now this location gets extra stars for location! It is located on the 2nd floor of the hotel, and you can ask to sit outside on the patio which is on the river... Great drinks and even though everyone in the country is short staffed, the workers here handled everything quite well.
The space is a bit old & tattered. Just a lot of little things... The salt & pepper shakers have bent lids. A light bulb is out in the hanging fixture near the patio door. One of the paper light shades centered over a table is ripped. Flatware is of nice quality but two different patterns that we noticed. Plastic disposable salt and pepper shakers on the tables to the side of the bar where you can peek thru the windows and look into the big water park. And a paneled column has some dings in it right at eye level.
Now, all that said, Tony Roma's still gets 5 stars! The prices are reasonable, the portions are nice, the food is amazing, the presentation is good, the service is friendly yet professional, and this location is the selling point. On the river, inside the hotel, across the parking lot from a casino, across 2 parking lots to the museum and aquarium, and next door to a massive indoor water park!

As far as we were concerned, everything was perfect. Our server John was short, to the point and awesome! #recommended

Very happy with our experience here. Dubuque is having a city-wide pandemic related crisis with staffing, etc. We were really having a tough time finding restaurants to accommodate us. Since we were staying at the hotel, it made sense to make some reservations. We were NOT disappointed. The food was perfect. The service was spot on, during a busy dinner time, with a group of 10 people. The server was very friendly with our kids. Probably the best dining experience we had this particular weekend!

Four dinners and all were served perfect. The waiter was very attentive and willing to please all of his patrons.

Food was very delicious and not expensive. The wait staff was professional and friendly.

Absolutely great food and great atmosphere definitely recommend!!!!

Classic American fayre & brand still alive & kickin'.

I sit out on the patio, and on a Thursday, they had a small band playing. It was nice and relaxing with views of the river. I'm not sure if that is something all the time or not. The food and staff were amazing. I highly recommend visiting this establishment.

Amazing staff! And food was amazing! And award winning deserts! Loved the Ribeyes and bloody Marys!

One of our 2 favorite places to visit in town. Great river setting, outdoor dining (with live music often), great food and service. 👍👍

I’m gonna say I had a good experience here. The plate I ordered was good. I had full rack of ribs with sweet potato fries. At first I thought the fries would be soft, but turned out crispy with a great new flavor I never had on sweet potato fries. The ribs were so big I took home half for later in the week. They were fall off the bone with good taste. We sat outside and it was a pretty view towards the river.

Love their ribs since I first tried this place thirty years ago in south Florida. About 20 years ago they opened one near where I lived in Michigan but they only lasted a couple years there. This looks like the only one left in the Midwest, which is a shame, since their food is great. I got the babyback full rack and their sauce, which I loooove. The meat was extremely tender, falling right off the bone as advertised. The restaurant was very nice, with a beautiful view of the Mississippi River.

Service was attentive and friendly.
Food was generous and delicious.
We had a lovely view of the Mississippi while dining.

My wife and I went here for dinner and they allowed us to bring our dog. The food was excellent, just the right potions, our server, Marcus, was outstanding. All around terrific experience.
