Stunod's Pizzeria & Buddy's Italian Ice

Solid neighborhood joint with great food! Pizza was what I came for, but found out Austin & his brother can make other tasty treats besides pizza. Son had the Italian sub & loved it, girls split the gnocchi with marinara & enjoyed it. Also got some garlic Parmesan French fries which were top notch! Strong on the garlic, but very good.

Pizza isn’t your typical south side “tavern style”… more of a NY style, but with Chicago roots! Great crust & overall texture/chew/flavor. Definitely very unique for the area.

Pizza snob here! Stunod is the real deal. Staff is warm and welcoming, like being with family. Restaurant is clean and modern. I had a green pepper, onion, sausage and garlic pizza that I started to eat in my truck before leaving the restaurant. The first thing I noticed was the bottom of the pizza was correctly cook as there was no raw dough because that's a deal breaker. The crust was crunchy while still being light and airy. Can't wait to go back for a breaded steak and some Ice! Oh yeah and the pizza was still blazing hot when I got home.

Lovin the crust on this pizza slice i had a cheese slice 5/5 something in the pizza that makes you want to have a bite one after the other. I will def be comming back. You can really taste the love in the pizza from the crust to the sauce to the cheese.

This is the best pizza I have ever had!! Not only was the staff friendly but the atmosphere was fun and up and coming. Will be making them our every Friday pizza guys.

This was some of the very best plain cheese pizza I’d ever had in my mouth. This was authentic which was what I told Frank the expo/register myself and my friend were after! Boy did we ever get the true to life goods! Frank gave us the biz. Informing us of the significance of Harlem Ave as a divider of the city from the suburbs. It was an amazing experience. We dined in and they played some music for us while we were there enjoying the delicious food. We (my friend and I) were on excursion to the Summit Park District which is the first town outside of Chicago proper. We were so happy to have journeyed to Clearing in the great American city of Chicago! Seek this place out and go with an appetite! You will NOT be disappointed!

Just bought a cheese and sausage pizza and it was excellent, fresh ingredients , well done.The crispy crust had a nice golden color ,they know how to make pizza 🍕 at Stunod’s.. 👍🇮🇹 Vince

100% recommend. Me and my Family used to order from Cipriani’s and Danny’s a lot but we ordered from Studnod’s one night and never looked back. Staff is really cool and respectful. Always be our go to pizza place on Friday nights!!

I recently had an exceptional dining experience at Stunods in Midway, Chicago. The pizza was not only delicious but also had a perfect crust that was both crispy and chewy. Stunods is now my go-to pizzeria, and I highly recommend it to anyone craving a delightful pizza experience. Also, the best looking group of guys I’ve ever seen working there. Five stars!

Tried this place because the neighborhood FB page was raving about it. I’m kinda picky, I hate to admit it but it’s true. We ordered the BIG 1/2 lb breaded steak for 10$!! We had our choice of marinara, mozzarella, or peppers ( hot or sweet). It was delicious. Also ordered fresh cut fries. I can not tell you how many places disappoint me when I ask for well done fries, but Stunods did not! They were perfect! The menu is simple, yet so excited to try more things from this new neighborhood gem. Another perk is tax is included in all prices. Thank you for a great experience on a snowy cold Friday night!

I'm from Tampa, FL. This was probably one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The crust was perfect, the toppings were full of flavor. Perfection!

What can I say that hasn't been said in the many reviews that have been left about this fantastic neighborhood establishment. It is hard to believe that it has only been around for just 2 years.

In that time, Frank and Austin have put together a place with local pride, casual eclectic charm, and a pleasant atmosphere. Where else can you relax and enjoy a great meal, while listening to some favorite tunes.

As for their pizza, it got me at their sauce. It was not too sweet or too bland, with the just the right amount of spices. The sausage stood alone. The Chicago size chunks had lots of flavor without being too spicy or greasy. The vegetables were cut large, keeping them from drying out. When my wife and kids don't have to add anything like parmesan cheese, oregano etc. to the pie, you know it's good!!!

While savoring every bite of their wonderful pizza, I noticed how many people were neighborhood regulars. Their seemed to be first name conversation like Norm from Cheers with every other person picking up their tantalizing dinners. You might come in a stranger but you definitely leave a friend. Where else do they wave good bye when leave, full and satisfied?

Perfect little neighborhood pizza spot. Meat ball sandwich? Chefs kiss! Big beef? 5 stars! Their pizza?! You can’t go wrong. 🤌🏼 Love it here.
