Phil's Pizza

This place is not the restaurant, so forget about atmosphere. Also, no delivery, which is fine. I can eat this pizza upside down or somewhere in the parking lot, doesn’t change a thing. This pizza is delicious!!! We bought sausage and black olives. Let me tell you, they don’t skimp on sausage. The quality is top notch. You know when you get some pizza and sausage is too salty or dry. Not this one. One word- perfect. Simple ingredients: sauce, sausage, cheese and black olives. I didn’t know, but this pizza felt whole, together, nothing can be added or removed. I recommend 100% to try. For a medium size we paid $18. For two people it was a lot to eat in one sitting. If you have hankering for a good slice of perfection, treat yourself. Enjoy!

This is one of the best pizza places in Chicago by far used to get their pizza once a week as a kid in the 80s and they are still awesome to this day.

First time eating at Phil's. I was not disappointed. We ordered the jumbo pepperoni and sausage pizza. It was delicious! My wife tried the beef sandwich. She loved it.

This pizza for me brings back wonderful memories of me living in Bridgeport. Phil's will always be my go-to for great neighborhood pizza. You just have to go and try it for yourself. 💥💥💥💥
It is a typical Bridgeport. "How can I help you, name?" type of greeting. This is "SOUTHSIDE STYLE." You don't go there for 5 STAR SERVICE, you go there for pizza, and you're out! ✌ENJOY!

Awesome tarbern style! You can dine in but it's more of a lunch table type set up. Don't order fresh garlic as an ingredient in pizza, they use jarred minced garlic. The Italian beef here is an sleeper on the menu. One of best Italian beers in the city imo. Fast service here.

Some of the best Chicago neighborhood/tavern pizza you'll ever have! Don't expect them to always pick up the phone, or be nice to you at the counter, but OMGOSH the pizza is amazing and they're nice as their pies, if you look deep enough! :)

I love the sauce! It's not all sweet. Great sauce, great crust, great pepperoni, yummy cheese, and their sausage is excellent. I usually order pepperoni everywhere else cause I'm picky when it comes to sausage, but theirs is great.

Love this place. Classic Southside joint. No frills, just pizza. Some could definitely consider the service rude. I think them is just efficient. Always look forward to going here. Glad it's in my neighborhood.

Their pizza is really good and the restaurant has an old school pizzeria feel. They have 12 (4) Tops so it’s quite large for a pizza joint. The only negative is I always feel super rushed on the phone.

Mom and pop restaurant. Been around for years still has the same yummy taste. Inexpensive, and sausage is thicker than most. Ready within 20 mins or less.

Old School Chicago Pizza joint. Real legit. Folks in the back know what they're doing. Opened back in 1960 by Italian immigrants. Sweet-leaning sauce, which I like. Cheese is nice and savory. Good pizza all around. If you're looking for pizza in Bridgeport, id recommend this over Connie's. Lots of tables for people to eat in, and quick service. Lady at the counter is very professional. Top notch all around.

First time eating Chicago thin crust pizza, and Phil’s Pizza did not disappoint! Excellent pizza with a great crust, sauce, and cheese ratio. Crust is crisp on the bottom but chewy, and creates a firm base for the pizza. The thick cut sausage was generously applied and makes for a satisfyingly filling pie. Highly recommend!

I love Phil's pizza been Going here for years I just wish that my pizza don't get cooked well done when I ask for it to be not welldone and also 3 weeks ago I order sausage and cheese and half pepperoni and got onions mixed in some type of way I don't eat onions at all but the Manger is very nice and understanding and will take care of u the next time very delicious over all I always recommend this place one of my favorite pizza place also enjoy the Italian Beef pizza with mixed peppers you can never go wrong 😊 stop on in you can also have lunch or dinner on the inside they have tables and chairs if you wanna sit down and eat everyone so welcoming❤ try them if you never had them

First time having this pizza. When placing the order. The young lady explained the mix up google has made. She sent me a menu along with my order. It was delivered the driver contacted seconds before arriving. Awesome delivery drop and go. The pizza was delicious up to the last bite. Good food and will be ordering again.

Phil’s pizza always has and still is one of the best pizza places on the south side of Chicago. The pizza is amazing!! The staff is nice too!

Amazing pizza! Only complaint is place is freezing seems like they got no heat in dining room. Sometimes you can call before they open and get a pizza made ready in time when they officially open
