Here's The Scoop

I love this place! I've narrowed down my favorites to goat cheese roasted cherry, salted caramel, pb & j, and there's a cookies & cream one that's super good. Oh, and the goat cheese blueberry was good, too. Also, the waffle cones/bowls are the best I've ever had. Thank God they don't do door dash because then I'd really be in trouble ha ha

Great, unique ice cream flavors. Nice variety of candies, from taffy to chocolate bars, in the event ice cream was just not enough of a sweet treat. A warm evening brought out a steady stream of customers, however we were quickly served by two cheerful and helpful young people! Return worthy? Absolutely!

A Friday dinner in the Village with friends was great. What makes a Friday dinner better? Ice cream, of course! I'd mentioned the last time I was in the Village Here's the Scoop had been closed and I'd wanted to try it. Now was the time to experience it!

The shop is small and brightly colored. Benches line half the space, with backs constructed of skis (boards? other snow sliding accessories? I don't really know...). The floor is a very shiny new wood laminate and the overhead is covered in a white drop ceiling with a combination fluorescent and suspended dome light fixtures. It all looks clean, bright, and happy, like an ice cream parlor should.

I opted for a scoop of orange pineapple for my evening dessert. I Don't know why I expected it to be sorbet, but was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be actual ice cream! It had the fruity flavor I desired out of the dessert with all the smoothness expected of an artisanal ice cream. So nice!

Given the relatively small size of the Village of East Davenport, I can easily envision this particular night happening again. Dinner, followed by ice cream at this place. I look forward to the next trip back. Thanks, Here's the Scoop!

I can't believe I'm saying this folks, but Whitey's is not the best ice cream in town. Go down to the village and get a "flight" and try 5 of their ice cream flavors. You'll be impressed!

First time customer and pleased as can be. You'll find some unique mixture of flavors. The lavender honeycomb and goat cheese cherry are excellent!

Very uniquely amazing ice cream flavors and newly expanded candy store area in a quiet neighborhood with on and off street parking also within walking distance of several other little shops.

Definitely a Hidden Gem in Davenport that is forgotten about because of Whitey's Ice Cream but very good ice cream and I will say the best homemade waffle cone I have ever had. Even if you're not a big ice cream fan and you have to check out these waffle cones.

Pictured is there mint chocolate chip ice cream that I got two scoops of and I would rate the ice cream 7 out of 10 ⭐ and the homemade waffle cone 10 out of 10 ⭐.

Lived in Bettendorf for a couple years, taking my kids to there was a weekly thing. We've since moved away and according to them, "Scoops is way better than [insert ice cream place]. Should've grabbed some shirts before I left. 👀

Incredible. I had the goat cheese and cherry and oh….my….gosh. It’s my new favorite thing. The girls working stayed cool under the pressure of a large crowd. Super impressed! I brought some home and am currently having round two 😂

Amazing little joint in the heart of East Village Davenport, Iowa. I tried the peach crisp ice cream on a waffle cone OMG. The waffle cones are made from scratch and the ice cream is authentic homemade. With prices that are reasonable for a ice cream parlor.

Friendly staff, very clean and well kept. The ice cream is worth every penny!

The young people behind the counter were super friendly and helpful. I was told to try the goat cheese ice cream.....OMG it was fantastic! Prices about the same as any competitor, but WOW the difference. Can't wait to go back.

Creamy, great flavors. Banana crunch tastes like fresh made banana bread in ice cream. Shop has a cool vibe. Friendly staff

Best ice cream ever. Such unique flavors. Hard to decide which to choose. Definitely go with a waffle cone or bowl; they are amazing. Worth the drive.

No, really. Head there for the best homemade ice cream!

The most unique and flavorful ice cream I have had anywhere. They have an ever changing selection, but my regular favorites are the goat cheese and roasted cherries and the honey lavender. Don't worry they have lots of great traditional flavors as well.

So far I have had the birthday cake and the watermelon mint sorbet. It tasted just like fresh watermelon and mint, I love it!!! My husband had the chocolate cake batter,vwhich he enjoyed. Can't wait to come back and try more.

Such a great little gourmet ice cream shop. Our family enjoyed some scoops of ice cream (raspberry sorbet, strawberry rhubarb pie, lavender honeycomb and goat cheese/roasted cherries. Even the dog loved her pup cup. Will be back soon. 🍦

I was here, it is a small place but with great flavor and quality in its ice creams.
I have tried the one with roasted cherries with goat cheese and it is delicious ... I must go again and try other flavors.
The place is clean, tidy and the attention is efficient, except when there is only one person attending, (there is a long waiting line) but acceptable.
I recommend it 100%.
