Spikes Keg O Nails

First time in Grayling even though I've driven to the UP since I was a year old! Nice town and restaurant. My World Famous Ultimate Spike Burger was cooked to order and delicious 😊 Friendly and proficient servers too!

Best burgers and waffle fries! Little pricey so we can only go a couple times a year. But it's so good.
The only thing is you have to pay additional for lettuce tomato and everything else you want on your burger. Usually places give you the basic toppings with burgers. Everything is separate with prices. Otherwise delicious!

We have passed this place so many times and finally stopped. The food was really good, service was good and the atmosphere was nice. I had a burger and my wife had a Reuben sandwich and we were both happy with our meal. I will be back!

We were there today 11/15/23 for lunch, the service was excellent. I had a patty melt and my hubby had a super spike burger and they were amazing and very juicy, to the point of dripping down our chins. We will be going back soon.

I had never been here previously so as we were passing through Grayling on the way to the Upper Peninsula we Googled places to eat. Spike’s had good reviews so we gave it a try. I’m glad we did. Cool atmosphere, quick and friendly service, and the food was good. Found a new place to regularly stop when we pass through.

Awesome burgers .. strong drinks.. great staff .. we go every chance we get when were up snowmobiling.. watch out the side street is one way .. I've seen many sleds get tickets for going the wrong way ..

Food was great, service was great, it was a Saturday early dinner rush and the place was packed with people waiting in line to get in.
Burgers are made from fresh ground beef, i saw it with my own eyes the balls of ground beef being put into the grill. Smelt basket also really good.

Another first for me and it was definitely worth it. I got the cod for lunch and it was delicious, the staff was very friendly also. I would recommend swinging in if you're in the area.

Excellent customer service! Amazing juicy burgers and wonderful salads I recommend the I recommend the salad with the cranberries and walnuts. Very sturdy tables and a hunter log cabin feel to it great for the whole family!

I first saw Spike’s Keg O Nails about ten years ago, and since my son’s name is Spike I really wanted to stop and have a Spike burger. But it’s an hour and a half away from us and every time we pass it we’re on our way to an appointment.
Today I finally got a Spike burger, and I am very glad that we stopped. The burger was excellent, and I loved the seasoned waffle fries. The staff was very friendly as well. We will definitely be going back!

Was hungry and pulled off to eat very nice place looked very clean food was great everyone seemed friendly already ready to go try something else on the menu

My family had never visited Spikes before, but we had driven by many times, always thinking it was more of a "locals bar" than a restaurant. Boy, were we wrong! Spike's Keg'O Nails has a great menu for a hungry traveler headed up north for a vacation, weary traveler headed home after fun weekend trip, or just anytime you are in the area and are hungry or need a drink!
The staff there worked great together as a team. We walked in and were seated promptly. Were served at the table and had drinks delivered right away by a different staff member, and had our order taken and food delivered by still another. Who ever was available and saw an opportunity to help, it was done. I loved that! Great job Spike's! Our food was delicious and brought out quickly, hot, fresh, and everything as we ordered. Prices are also reasonable.
The decor is rustic "up North" and had a great hometown feel. Everyone was very friendly and made us feel welcome. I am so sad that we had never stopped in to eat before! We will definitely be stopping in again.

My husband and I stopped in for lunch today and everything was fantastic! The burgers were amazing and the service was impeccable. We will definitely be back.

During dinner rush we managed to squeeze in. It was a brief wait to be seated and a family of 4 behind us waiting, also. We were placed at a very large table with plenty of room to share with that family. The waitress wasted no time getting our menus and drinks! I only saw 2 waitresses working the floor and 2 bartenders. It was standing room only and there was STILL excellent service! Almost zero wait time for drinks or food! After the lousy experience in Lovell Riverside Tavern Friday.... This was an amazing treat! Fantastic place to visit again!

I had the most amazing burger here. They make it to your wants and needs. I had mushrooms and onions on my burger. Thankyou!
Also the onion rings were good and they came with southwestern spiced ranch. So cool.

Went there around midnight. We were tourist there, so when we found its open it made us happy. And when we got the food we were delighted! Food was excellent and service was so welcoming. The lady who was our server was very friendly and explained everything whatever we asked her. Environment was good too.

Loved this place! The food was good and the service was excellent! Very happy with the food and everything here. The environment was relaxing and chill. The servers were so nice and helpful. He made sure our drinks stayed refilled and that we had everything we needed. The food was great. I had a salad and the other had a burger and chicken strips. All of it was fantastic.
