Grayling Restaurant

This place was packed. We were seated very quickly. The food smells amazing walking into the restaurant. The menus were small, and looking around the restaurant at 2pm. breakfast seemed to be the favorite dish. So we ordered breakfast. It came exactly how we ordered it. All the food was amazing. Our wait staff is so nice and friendly. Always on time with drink refills and making sure we had everything. This place was so good we'll be back to try other items. I was so full after leaving here. Thanks, Grayling Restaurant, for the awesome food and great atmosphere.

Great restaurant in downtown Grayling. Where the locals eat. First opened in 1937. Our delicious breakfast was great. Omelet was cooked perfectly.

Had the best omelette of my life here! Perfectly cooked and simple, just ham and cheese. Not soggy or dry and overcooked like other places. Crispy hash browns. And the waitress was very attentive, my coffee cup was never empty. I would love to stop by again!

Even though they were closing soon after we arrived, we were greeted with a smile, our order was taken in a timely fashion and the food was quick and hot. The staff was very friendly we will return when visiting Grayling again and will recommend to friends and family.

Best sit down restaurant in the north!!!!! I would recommend you to this place for sure. Great food and best waitress staff you could ask for.

A surprise for me, small hometown restaurant that met the expectations. I had the club sandwich and my buddy had the hamburger with egg and bacon. We werent sure of the serving size but it was beyond expectations.... I would highly recommend this for a nice eatery!!!

amazing food. the cinnamon roll pancakes are the best! The cod is a little small but the taste makes up for it.

Bearing the same name as the town it's in, this was sort of our default choice when rolling through for brunch - and we were pleasantly surprised.

Between us, we order the Lumberjack Breakfast, Irish Omelette, the Two Eggs, Corn Beef Hash and Toast, and some French Toast.

Everything was fantastic and the service was spot on. The place is also decorated in some old-school 20th century décor and newspaper headlines that gives it some charm.

This is one of the best restaurants! We went for breakfast and what a pleasure it was! It still feels and looks like a 60’s type diner. The food was fantastic! The coffee was tasty and plentiful. The staff were phenomenal. Everyone was in a great mood, laughing, talking, serving. It was great to be a part of the experience eating here. If you haven’t been here, what are you waiting for! GO HERE!

Cute little diner, staff is very sweet and welcoming. Had the grilled chicken club and devoured it. It was grilled perfect, and the bread was nice and fresh. It wasn’t too greasy like most diners. Expect regular diner fare, done very well!

my boyfriend and I have made it a point to stop in at the grayling restaurant every time we pass through on a trip up north! it’s cozy, quick, and inexpensive. I absolutely love their cinnamon roll pancakes and can’t find anything like them at other restaurants. highly recommend!

I don't come to Grayling often, but when I do...
We came on a recommendation and I am glad we did. The food is great and the service too. Now we have a place to come back to when hungry and in the area. I don't go out often because I married the world's greatest cook but I would come back here. My wife loved it too.

Excellent service and food every single time I go there. G.R. is a local's restaurant that can easily accommodate a line of folks on days when people are there from out of town. No matter what the demand for tables is, you'll be treated with the same down-home friendliness you'd expect from such an unassuming restaurant. I HIGHLY recommend it. Enjoy. 😊

Our Country is littered with small unique dinners that are served by local hard working people that care about the product and service that customers get. They care about people! This is one of those places. You can always tell a good place to eat when the locals are lined up out the door. This place was packed when our party of three came to the door. We were lucky to have shared a table with another local party of three. We all had great meals. With the place filled to capacity we still had great service in a timely manner.

Get the corned beef hash, absolutely delicious. Great classic American dinner. Anyone not giving it 5 stars has a screw loose.

Lustrous restaurant, good old diner feel. Locals and newbies are welcomed! Our waitress Brenda was so friendly and helpful. The amount of food you get is massive. You will be eating good! Pancakes, French toast and more breakfast classics. Not too busy and you get served ASAP. Wonderful for a meal by yourself or for family and friends. My favorite was the pancakes. Fluffy and big just how I like them. Fabulous all around

Nothing fancy, but a very nice diner. I had the Farmers Omelet and it was very tasty. Service was prompt. I would return if I was ever in the area again.

Best Breakfast . Old school interior I love it. The awesome folks who serve and cook. I have been a steady customer since discovering this Jewel of a restaurant!
