We were greeted at the door by the waiter and promptly led to a table. The waiter was knowledgeable and helpful with menu selections. We ordered the biscuits and gravy with fried chicken and the Bandito. Both were fabulous but if you like biscuits and gravy the first is not to be missed.

Just look at the pictures of these dishes! Even if it wasn't one of the best breakfasts we've ever had (which it was), it'd be worth it just to look at those dishes for a while.

This is kinda the definition of artisan food in my opinion. You can tell the cook cares about the presentation as well as the taste of the meal. Sometimes you get one or the other, but usually not both.

We had the Benedicts Garden, Breakfast Club dishes and we were both supremely pleased. The service was good as well and the place has got some character (whether you like it or not is totally a personal opinion).

Highly recommend coming here, and there is a small cookie shop down the road within walking distance that has killer cookies as well.

CUTE LITTLE place with OUTSTANDING service and DELICIOUS food. THE BEST breakfast in town. If there is a wait, it is well worth it. I promise!

MUST TRY: The Bandito, The Southern Benny and This Is How We Roll. ALL excellent!

Hats off to the chefs, the owner and the staff! We will be back if in town.

Such a cool place with a great, cozy atmosphere. My husband has eggs Benedict Garden and I had lox breakfast (forgot the name of it) but both were out of this world! Presentation was outstanding and so was the food. A big WOW!!!

Greeted by a gentleman at the door. Seated at a nice table for two. Presented with a regular menu accompanied by a specialty seasonal menu. Had a hard time deciding on what to get because there many options that sounded good. Decided on the biscuits and gravy and was not disappointed. Gf got the bandito and loved it.

Staff was so polite and helpful. They even offered great tips on things to do in the area as we are not from the area

Can not recommend enough

One of the best brunches I’ve ever had. The menu is filled with creative breakfast/brunch/lunch creations. This was my first time here and I hope to visit every time I’m in Harbor Springs. My brunch today, entitled “This Is How We Roll” consisted of scrambled eggs with cheese and bacon inside of a grilled cinnamon roll, with breakfast potatoes. The combination of sweet and savory isn’t my ‘go-to’ typically, but I’m glad I decided to give it a try. You should too! You won’t regret it. The indoor seating area is small, eclectic, and comfortable. They can’t accommodate large parties and as a result, the dining area is quiet and relaxing. The chef-owner had the difficult task of preparing food alone this morning due to a call-off and I must say, she still performed quite admirably. You simply MUST dine here when you’re in HC.

The breakfast nachos were outstanding! I brought just over 1/2 home. Enjoyed most of them, for dinner tonight but still couldn’t finish them so my husband finished them off. He said even warmed up they were delicious!

Outstanding and well crafted plates and a very cute and rustic dining room. Everyone's jaw hit the floor when the food came to the table. Elevated and fun without being pretentious. Even a few wild cards I. the menu, like a cinnamon bun burger!
Service was friendly too.

As most places in 2022, wait staff visits to the table are limited but the service they provide is top tier. Old time mis matched furniture, tables, and chairs decorate the interior portion of this restaurant. Delicious breakfast, unlimited coffee!

An absolutely superb eatery. Small Batch at the Cupola is big where it counts, service and meal quality. Personally, I have never had a better breakfast. Their Benedicts Garden was delicious, well plated, and, the best eggs Benedict dish I have ever had. My wife had the Lox Smith which she thoroughly enjoyed. Honestly, all the dishes we watched coming out of the kitchen to patrons' tables looked amazing. The decor is eclectically quaint, the seating comfy, and the atmosphere was very relaxing...and the staff was working their tails off to take care of their patrons. Since there were only two of us, our wait was no more than ten minutes at 10:00am this rainy Saturday morning. Larger groups had longer wait times but not by much. The service was timely, efficient, and extremely well mannered. When you eat at Small Batch at the Cupola be prepared for an extraordinary experience. And don't forget to ask about the "Secret Menu." It was well worth our time to drive up from Traverse City just to have brunch here. My review: 10 STARS!!

A hidden gem in Harbor Springs! If you’re unsure about the menu, give it a try - you won’t be disappointed! A friend and I celebrated her birthday with breakfast and loved everything from start to finish!

This is the place for good food. Lovely farm to table with actual cooking. The menu is diverse enough for everyone. Very high quality from presentation to taste. Not overdone, over seasoned or kitschy. Someone here has recipes from a fine pallet. Flavor subtlety in abundance.

Food is awesome! I think priced accordingly for creativity and size. 4.6 is a good overall rating but really should be 4.8 + but as I guessed service and cost are causing some to rate lower:( we waited a little, but for most part service was prompt, they were not rude, but not super nice or attentive, which I understood, it is a small place, there were two servers, they didn’t have time, and yes everyone is having problems with staffing! And people complaining about price? Really? It’s on menu and most of us check menu out on web first, so not fair! Anyway, great, great food, other issues worth the experience! We will be back!

Best breakfast we've had in months.. Best food we've had on our trip up to Petoskey by far. It is a little pricey, but the homemade, unique flair shows and makes it well with it.
Staff is super friendly.
A must in places to visit if you are from our of town!

Such an adorable place! The staff is so friendly, the decor is beautiful, and the food is amazing! I had the #brisket meal and it was so good! They also have amazing desserts, they give you a little carrot cake before each meal. Definitely will come back :)

Small Batch is a must if you're in Harbor Springs! Everything about this place is unique! The atmosphere is welcoming & eclectic, staff are friendly and attentive, food was prepared and served without much wait time. The menu is also unique - updated home cooking with a "keep it simple" twist. The menu is limited but offeres just the right variety - any more options would make it impossible to choose! We visited Small Batch during brunch time - the portions were hearty, price point was middle range but you undoubtedly get what you pay for. THEN.... There's the bakery next door - Uniquely styled with gift items for sale... and baked goods that are out of this world!! Whole cakes, pastries, cupcakes, cookies etc. Ask MacKenzie (spelling?-sorry) to cut you a piece of carrot cake - he's the best!
Do not miss out on this experience

This is one of the places that is worth the little bit extra you pay. The food is definitely worth it and the atmosphere is nice and comfortable. Has a bakery nearby that's part of the restaurant and sells other interesting things.

I've never had a meal I didn't absolutely love at the Small Batch. My favorite order for brunch is the Croque Monsieur, and I could eat it every single day
