These guys offer the best service and high quality seafood. Hunter carefully packed my seafood to take back to NYC. I highly recommend them!
Their restaurant food is superb also. The lobster rolls and stuffed with fresh and juicy lobster and the crab cakes are awesome. I can’t wait to go back there

We ordered the lobster roll, new england clam chowder and crab cakes. I have never had potatoe chips like that before and they were such a nice surprise. Everything was absolutely wonderful! If you traveling through, this is a must stop! Wow!

Just moved to Maine and have been on a journey to find places with lobster rolls to try. Found this place on Google with a higher rating than others, so I decided to try it. There was seating outside, I did not go inside as I had my dog with me. It is clearly a popular place as people came off the road as I was waiting for my food and the parking lot was filling up. You order outside through a window and go to the next window to pick up your food. I sat in the car and ate, enjoying the view. I did not finish the food. It was enough for dinner as well. I got a gluten-free bread with the lobster.

I will say that having dietary restrictions, the young lady at the window made sure my food was cooked away from other food. I did not ask, but she made sure she looked out for me. So, kudos for the service.

Lobster Rolls we perfect with no mayo like we like them. Steamed clams and fried clans were so clean, no grit at all!!

Stopped on our road trip based on reviews. Did not disappoint. Had a lobster roll...on sale for $19, and the haddock sandwich. Both were delicious but the best part was enjoying them at a picnic table with a great view! Definitely worth a stop.

Lobster roll was delicious - fresh, lightly seasoned with old bay on top and the bun was buttery and soft. They only had the rolls and soup when we went in mid-November. Would definitely stop by if you’re craving a good lobster roll.

The lobster roll and haddock were delicious. Prices seem fair. Very cool rear patio with lots of places to sit and a Cornhole set. I'll be back for sure because I wanted to try the lobster poutine but they were out of chowder.

Authentic Maine seafood shack experience! Super friendly service at the takeout counter, huge menu of fresh local lunch caught lobster, clams, scallops, and more. We ordered the Lobster Rolls, Clam Chowder, and Chicken Tenders - all perfectly seasoned and prepared. Enjoyed the picnic table seating by the lake around back, was a convenient stop on our way back to Portland.

Hands down the best lobster roll and fries in Maine. I try to stop every time I come home. The meat is fresh and cooked to perfection - soft and sweet. A perfect spot for lunch when heading north on route one.

A must if you're visiting the area. Classic Maine style seafood. Get the crab roll you won't be sorry. Typical higher prices anyone can expect from a fresh seafood place. If you can't decide just get the capitan platter. It'll be cheaper in the end. Order at the window, seat yourself, call our your number when it's ready kind of place. Can order ahead for take out. Great fresh lobsters and crab meat next door. Can get busy, go when they open.

It is crispy, flaky, juicy (interior), and light. Please get it. (If you like fried chicken and or fish, you’ll love this.)
Lobster roll is also pretty good, and the prices are average for Maine. It’s just a lightly grilled cut sausage bun with fresh lobster lightly dressed with mayo. (Yes, I used “lightly” twice in a sentence. Deal with it.) The roll comes with a pickle on the side. It’s simple, and the lobster is very fresh and tasty.
You order in front and pick up when they call your number (the wait for us was around 10 minutes—nothing too long, and the view is beautiful). There’s also a small seafood store, where everything looks very fresh (there is a big vat with live lobsters swimming around).
Definitely come by for lunch if you’re hungry on the highway or in a nearby town.

Amazing lobsters. The owners were very nice and helpful. I went there around 9 am and the restaurant was still closed. But apparently you could order live lobster and they will boil it for you. The lobster was plump and juicy. They all have the roe insides. The price was very reasonable and the service was excellent. Will be coming back if I am in town.

The people working there were very nice. It was off the highway and we were hungry because we have been traveling for several hours. Heading up to forks Maine so we can do white water rafting but this is a cool outdoor location and you can buy fresh lobster there some takeout food it was pretty good

My Wife And I Were Looking For Fresh Lobster Rolls In The Morning, TRIPP Was Very Nice And Super Helpful.The Restaurant Wasn't Open Yet And He Set Us Up With Fresh Lobster, Rolls And Everything Needed For Us To Make Our Own.So Delicious And Such A Special Treat!!

Here with a friend enjoying the awesome view and a great tasty Crabmeat roll on picnic benches in the backyard of the vintage style place. The roll is buttered and toasted and even though the sandwich is not that big, it s definitely filled up with a lot of delicious crabmeat. The place is a bunch of minutes from freeport center and you can smell it from a mile. I paid 11$ circa for my roll, my friend got the lobster one which was around 13$, very good aswell. Extremely satisfied.

After waiting in a couple of LONG lines for Portland’s most famed food destinations (and being subsequently underwhelmed).. we stumbled upon Day’s, and the Foodie Gods answered our prayers. The jumbo steamed lobster, twin lobster rolls, fries, and Portland Pale Ale gave us EVERYTHING we were missing and more. So convenient. Right off the highway. Beautiful view to enjoy these magical crustaceans. Don’t miss it.

Stopped by Day's for a quick lunch. Got the steamed lobster dinner which came with fries, slaw and a biscuit and sat down out back on the picnic table. The lobster was fresh and got a bib to help prevent a mess.

I stopped in at Day’s and it was great. Their lobster roll & french fries are fantastic! Popular spot, it was busy but the service was fast and I had no complaints. I even got some Chowdah from the market to go! If you don’t want to deal with the parking, waiting, and not as good of food in Portland, go to Day’s. 10/10!
