Oak Station Coffee & Cone

Neat spot for coffee and ice cream. Clean bathroom and right off the freeway. A few little gifts for sale (bracelets, other trinkets). Lots of seating inside and a fair amount outside. Kid sized tables too! Upstairs seating looked cool, but was closed and could not check it out. Parking on the grass behind the building.

GREAT ICE CREAM. MUST STOP. Note they are only open from memorial day to labor day. so rush over there right now. we had the Blue berry cheese cake and the parent something ice cream (which has bourbon and chocolate and coffee) Really good.

Wow this place is so unexpectedly amazing. Honestly maybe the best ice cream I have ever had. I ordered the blueberry cheesecake, so delicious. My son of course choose the superman kids cone, he loved it. My husband ordered the rocky road cone and enjoyed it. We also ordered the mango smoothie (not pictured) very good, only thing is it should have been blended longer. It was a little icy. My husband had an Italian soda and loved it. We also bought two coffees to go. They were delicious, peace coffee. Overall excellent experience we will be back next time we are in the area.

This is the cutest, most fun ice cream shop we have been to. Since over the years we frequently have made it a point to do ice cream, this takes in many shops. The ice cream is delicious and the choices are many. We had Exhausted Parents ice cream. Bourbon and chocolate hunks. This was served in a waffle cone with an animal cracker and salted pretzel on top. Both of these items were great with the ice cream. We stopped in off the Lake Woebegone Trail. All I can say is this is a must stop if you are bicycling by. In fact I can say that this is a destination store.🍦🍨🍦

Super cute place with a good ice cream selection. Fairly priced, a number of diverse seating options, and sidewalk chalk outside for the kids. A must after a hot day at Hemker zoo!

Great variety and selection of real hard packed ice cream! The servers were very helpful and pleasant! I like the renovation of the historic building for inside seating!

Nice addition to the community. They serve a great variety of ice cream and their flavors change regularly. They also offer shakes and coffee beverages.

Always have new flavors to try. Can't decide, get a float and try 4 flavors! Blueberry cheesecake is fantastic, but so are many others. A nice treat on a hot day.

Such an amazing place!! Wonderful flavor selection. Two dairy free options every time I've been here! Plenty of nice seating, and a lovely place overall. Excellent service! Cool history of the building and a very pretty event space above the ice cream shop.

My absolute favorite place to get ice cream! My grandparents live in the town of Freeport, so I get here a few times every summer. The service is just as great as the ice cream! A single scoop gets you two scoops, as well as some original, delicious ice cream, my favorite being Yippee Skippee, a peanut-butter one. The inside is decorated super cute and I can honestly say that this is one of my top five places to be in the world! Definitely worth the stop, even if you are not an ice cream person since they have other treats as well. Also, they have it very nicely set up to keep everyone safe and healthy during this pandemic!!

Fun place with really good ice cream

Fantastic all around. We loved the walk up window and everyone inside was wearing masks. It felt very safe in the midst of a pandemic. Great and fast service. Also, the ice cream was EXCELLENT and the waffle cones were some of the best we've had. We will be back!

I never venture away from the ice cream even though they have tons of things to choose from. The ice cream they serve is thick and creamy but never overwhelming. Fun flavors always have me debating until the last minute we make a habit of going as often as possible. The service is wonderful always a smile in there. Atmosphere is crazy cute rustic.

I really don’t want to review this place because we are local and it’s our family’s favorite, and we want to keep it a secret…..buttttt I can’t help but RAVE about the ice cream and atmosphere. The workers are friendly and smiling, the ice cream is better than any chain out there and the atmosphere in the old rustic barn is perfect. The “Sh*t just got real” ice cream- ugh if you take the last scoop I will literally hunt you down and take it from you!!! Its incredible!!! I’m a girl and I get a PINT. Because ice cream amiright?! And ps, if you’re sitting in those amazing yellow, comfortable, just-came-off-grandmas-back-patio chairs when I come in, I’ll just sit in your lap😆

Great little ice cream shop right off 94. A "single scoop" gets you a cone with two scoops of ice cream, and you can choose two different flavors using the "single scoop" option.

They have rich, unique flavors and some of the more predictable staples as well. We really enjoyed the way they garnish each cone with an animal cracker and pretzel stick as well.
