P & K Fruit Market

This is easily my favorite market in the area. The produce is good, the prices are fair, and the service is good. You usually see the same people working every day seems like a family run store with loyal employees.

I love shopping at this small family owned business. My wife and I come here for produce a couple times per week. Their produce is noticeably better than all of the grocery stores in the area. My guess is they have a longstanding relationship with the local suppliers because they always seem to have the best produce. Additionally the owners are so nice. And as others have mentioned, the homemade kimchi is fantastic. I'm so glad I tried it, as it's a weekly purchase now.

Hands down the best flower selection in Jersey City along with a really great and curated grocery offering. The family who owns this store is so friendly. I love this neighborhood gem.

high quality produce and foods at a family-owned place. it’s also very reasonably priced. plus, the owners really care about their product and customers, and they go out of the way to be kind and generous (they seem to be on a first name basis with so many people that shop there). best of all, it’s my go-to place in the area for beautiful, fresh flowers!

Best fruit market in all of Jersey City. Better than Whole Foods, better than 99 Ranch, better than any supermarket around the area. Even better than the farmer's market!!! Always fresh, great selection, I don't get my fruits from anywhere else anymore.

I heard the landlord is trying to raise rent and asking for outrageous things. Listen up landlord to this great little market, YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER TENANT, YOU WILL PROBABLY LOSE MONEY IF THIS MARKET DISAPPEARS.

The best service!!! I bought 8 bouquets from them for Mother’s Day to make two giant bouquets put together and they did a beautiful job. This is a family owned business which I highly recommend you support. I couldn’t park in the area to pick up my bouquets so the son and his father came out and brought them to me on the road just the absolute sweetest !!!!!!!!! If I can give 10 stars I would, they also had lots of yummy Korean goodies :)

The family who owns the market is not only super helpful, but very sweet. They always greet me with the nicest welcome. They will even order things or look into ordering specific things you request. The produce is always super fresh and they have a really terrific selection of foods, and organic foods. I love this place!

Fresh produce at reasonable prices. Healthy, selective pantry items. They have quite many vegan options for such a small store. Love this local business. The store owners play multiple sources of news on the TV.

I’ve been going here for at least the last 5 years. This is easily my favorite local grocer.

They carry veggies, dairy products, and standard dry goods. What makes it my go-to is the inclusion of Asian food items too. They don’t sell raw meats but do have some deli cut meat.

The family who owns the store are lovely people and wonderfully efficient, which is great given the small aisles and often crowded store that they manage. They allow you to get in and out seamlessly.

Support Local!

I have been shopping here for years because I’d like to support local stores. Many small grocery stores have closed because of the rent in Jersey City. I hope this store will be here for many years more!

It is great store with whatever you need! Vegetables are very fresh. They last longer than other vegetables I bought from large supermarkets. They also have beautiful flowers here!

Love this place. Such a well curated selection of items, they carry obscure yet critical items you wouldn’t think a small bodega would have like simple syrup when you’re making cocktails or gluten when you’re making homemade bread or ramen. Very friendly family run business as well. Also, their blueberries are unusually fresh. Other bodega berries go moldy within 1-2 days, P&K berries stay fresh noticeably longer.

Great store with a good selection of products, although it is a bit small. Maybe slightly on the expensive side, but the products are generally higher quality stuff. All the staff are very nice/friendly. We go here for our grocery shopping pretty regularly.

Always astounded at what I can find here. Great quality produce and tasty unexpected treats you didn’t even know you wanted. The friendliest staff. I have been shopping here for years and am *still* surprised and impressed. Always leave happy. ❤❤❤

This is one of those carefully-curated, family run small grocery stores, where everything is great quality, top to bottom. For example, you look at the berries and every box is fresh, nothing is bruised. You look for mustard and it’s all the best imported brands. I love it. I do a lot of my grocery shopping here. Staff are all very friendly.

The two sons are always extremely helpful and anytime I’ve had a problem with a product which is a very rare occasion they have taken back and refunded with no hassle. They are constantly staying up to date with new food products and their produce quality and service is top notch. The mom started making the kimchi without fish sauce so vegans like me can eat it. Couldn’t ask for a better neighborhood store.
