What an amazing place to eat. The food choices that they have are unreal and they are so delicious. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I am on business and ate here four nights in a row. Highly recommended!

Bridgewater Diner is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at for a good breakfast, lunch, or a late-night trip. Its location is in the middle of Bridgewater right off of 22 which makes it extremely easy to get to at any time of the day. I have been going there for the past 10 years with my family. Whether we are dining in or getting takeout the service has been great. The staff is super attentive to any of our needs. After going there for several years with family and friends the Bridgewater Diner and its staff have begun to feel like a second home. My favorite dish from Bridgewater Diner is the chocolate chip pancakes and two scrambled eggs. Overall I would recommend Bridgewater Diner to anyone trying to get a great meal and wonderful service.

Fantastic experience both in service and food! Finally made it here, after many coworkers recommended that I check it out! Warm and inviting, fresh and delicious ingredients make for a delectable experience. Had the French onion soup and it was magnificent! So much that filled me up and had to take leftovers home. The portions and prices are phenomenal. And the delight waitress surely made my day! Very accommodating and with an extensive knowledge of the dishes. Thank you for making my Friday a great start for the weekend. Looking for to come back soon!

First of all, they had me at Halloween! They decorated this place all Halloween themed and I loved it! The food was amazing and the best blueberry pie I have ever had. The service was great too. I wish I lived closer to go here more often but we were just passing by.

My first time visiting here earned it an A+. The fresh squeezed orange juice was a phenomenal start to the meal. My friend ordered the chicken noodle soup and claimed it was some of the best he'd ever had. My omelette was perfect as were the home fries. All of this during a peak Sunday morning crowd. Prices were fair and service was friendly. I am very pleased and will return.

Perfect diner experience. Friendly attentive staff, delicious food and nice clean updated diner feel. The toasted marshmallow ice coffee late was amazing with actual toasted marshmallows on top. The corned beef hash was wonderful and their lox was sooooo good. Wish this place was local we'd be here all the time! Worth a visit for sure!

Food here is good. Service was good too. They have their own baked goods. Those were great too. The portions were adequate. My sons had waffles & chicken which we split between them. Good portion and chicken a little too salty. I had the corned beef hash & eggs. Was alright. I had a good experience.

Bridgewater Diner is a nice place to meet your friends.
But of course as a Diner very loud.
French Onion soup was an amazing recipe not to salty with a lot of mozzarella cheese,
chicken soup was very good.
Service was excellent as the server came up to us several times asking if we need anything.
Definitely RECOMMENDED especially French Onion soup 👍🏼.

This time we ordered dessert and it was very fresh and delicious, we will continue to visit and enjoy.

Went for Easter brunch. It was crowded, but manageable. The service was excellent. Great options for the meal including 2 specials menus. Like most diners, you won't go away hungry. Food is very good and reasonably priced. Specials were creative. Amazing seafood choices. Best diner in the area and renovated about a year ago, so very nice dining area.

Visited family nearby and they brought us here! They gave activities for the kids to do the moment we were seated and it always helps! For a big family with 3 kids they were very accommodating 😁 food and service is good! Would definitely go back to try other dishes

This diner has it all. When family and friends are in town this is where I go. I even buy a whole cheesecake for Christmas from here. My friend has returned for the Ruben and he knows his Ruben's. He says Bridgewater diner makes it the best. I stick with the specials which has never disappointed. On this day I had steak Tiki (I think) ...NY strip fire roasted red pepper mushrooms roasted potatoes grilled zucchini and spinach, Caesar salad which was awesome, and matzo ball soup, later had chocolate pudding coffee and a slice of cheesecake to go but I had to stab it while having my coffee before taking it home. I finish everything all the time at Bridgewater Diner. This place is one of the few that you won't get bored or turned off while eating their food and you don't feel like you got ripped off. The food is the star but it only can be held up by an equally bright, friendly and competent staff. 01/23/23 leaving my rating despite this not so great experience. Had the veal special. I refused to eat it and felt as if it would get stuck like glue in my intestines. Rule: if you can't see it, don't eat it. The veal was hard like jerky. Some days like these are expected. Experienced staff expect these times and most don't take it personally and are aware of body language. Bad day for me and great day for the person who handled my table with a 40 percent TIP despite the inexperience in handling a situation like mine. Not even offered dessert lol. Upon exit, not even the customary how was your meal or thank you for not making a big deal out of a poorly created special. Shame or IDGAF, idk? At least I admitted I made a poor choice for dinner but most importantly, I didn't want to anyone to loose money. Still a great place. We all have bad days and I know now Mondays could be a bad day to visit. Education does not come free.

One of the best diners around. Very clean and neat. Staff friendly and helpful. Sandwiches are huge and delicious. We had a great BLT and eggs over easy. Both were very good

Visited the Bridgewater Diner recently after it was recommended to me. Decently sized parking lot so it's easy to find a spot. When I walked in, I was pleased with the Diners atmosphere. Very comfortable and laid back. Prices were fair and I was pleased with the food. If you're questioning whether or not you'd like to give this diner a try. I would say it's worth a try.

Food was fresh, Service was friendly. Chairs at the tables need to be replaced (they are all extremely loose) get a booth.. seafood bisque was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS. Chicken fingers were moist. Breakfast platter was yummy. Grilled chicken salad also was delicious

We've been visiting this diner for the last 20 years, and they never disappoint. Service is friendly and quick, and food is always good.

"Since arriving in Jersey a few days ago, my wife and I were drawn to this bustling restaurant that seemed to defy mealtime norms with its constant flow of visitors even during off-peak hours. Curiosity piqued, we decided to give it a try, and from the moment we entered the spotless parking lot, we knew we were in for a treat. While I had a preconceived notion of diners, this place redefined the concept with its gourmet offerings.

My wife savored the organic Roasted Chicken special with garlic mashed potatoes, soup, salad, and delectable breadsticks, all exceeding expectations. As for me, the New York Strip with mashed potatoes and flavorful mixed vegetables was a culinary delight. The fresh salad and warm breadsticks added to the exceptional dining experience.

The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly our waitress, Alice, whose top-notch service and infectious humor added an extra layer of enjoyment. The attentive staff ensured our table was always tidy, allowing us to savor each dish without feeling rushed. Meeting the friendly owner and efficient manager further emphasized the restaurant's commitment to cleanliness and excellence.

To top it off, the dessert selection, particularly the cheesecakes, was a sweet revelation. As a self-proclaimed 'fat kid' with a discerning palate, I can confidently say that the cheesecakes here rank among the top five I've ever had.

Though my time in Jersey is limited, this restaurant has left a lasting impression, and I will cherish the memories of this exceptional dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a culinary gem in the area."

This place is greatly improved since it reopened. My buddy and I had lunch here today. There’s always something good on the specials menu as well as better than average diner fare. Staff is friendly and polite. Something we don’t always find these days.
