Barrett's Alehouse Bridgewater

Great dining place with absolutely awesome food. It was too oud with live music, for my ears, and had to shout to talk. But that is entirely me having sensitive hearing. The other guests were enjoying the evening, and they created a welcoming and very happy atmosphere. Excellent burger and sweet potato fries I have had in a long time.

Our Bartender Alex was amazing! Very attentive and accommodating. She was such a pleasure to see at the bar and chat with while seated. Would highly recommend her and Barretts! She is an asset to your staff!!

We haven't been for awhile. New bar and it is very nice. Had our chips and and Buffalo chicken dip good as always. We had Quesadilla that was 3 pieces shared between the 2 of us. The plates given to us were very small. We would have liked a larger plates to eat off of.

Great food selection, service, and atmosphere. The weekday lunch specials are awesome! We tried the pressed fajita wrap and pilgrim flatbread and both were amazing. Please consider adding them to the regular menu.

The service and atmosphere were exceptional. We spoke with the manager about an issue, and she handled it well. We were satisfied with our waitress too. A 5-star team!

My kids and I drove to the one in Abington - they were having a haunted tour so we decided to come to this one. SOO GLAD WE DID! This will be our new spot. Food came out so fast, was literally delicious. There was live music , not to loud but just right. CAROLINE WAS THE SWEETEST. Cute as a button and was so attentive. As a single mom brining the kids to the restroom I always worry about our drinks (I know crazy!) and she was on top of it!!!! We will be back. Entire experience was worth the drive! AND ITS FRIDAY NIGHT! We got right in and just such a smooth night out with my kiddos. Thank you!!!!

Love this local spot! Bartenders are great! We love Jazzy and Ginny; they are attentive and friendly! The updated front bar is beautiful too! Jazzy is great as a server too, she always knows that the kids will want before they even order!

Love this place! The wait staff is always on point and so so friendly! The food and drinks are phenomenal! And the huge fire place outside on the sand is such a comfy touch! Def one of my go to places for food and drinks!

This place has a few locations. I have been to them all but this one is far the best. So clean great bar. Food was amazing. Drinks was strong 💪The atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming. What I mean is they all greet you like they know you. We sat at the bar and for a Saturday at noon this place was jamming. I won't go to any other location but this one from now on.

First time in was last week and the atmosphere was fun, the service was great and the food was right on par with what I would expect for easy eats that taste great!

It's a local spot for me and I appreciate the convenience. I also enjoy the fact that there are 3 different atmosphere. Once section has a pub feel, then another section is an open restaurant vibe and then finally an outdoor eating option. The menu has something for everyone and the portion sizes leaves you with enough leftovers for the next day. Their drink options are good and the service is friendly and attentive.

Relaxed atmosphere. The outdoor section is great for families. My kids loved the sand. The food is consistently good, and comes out quickly. Nice selection of craft beers on tap. There is rarely a long wait. It is large inside. The service is okay, not great. I think that is because the servers are normally in the weeds. We enjoy both locations and will return.

The manager at the restaurant, Kayla, went above and beyond to make sure the item that we needed was gluten-free. Door Dash customer support had called and told us the item was "cross-contaminated" which we said would be ok, but this wasn't the whole story. The sauce actually had gluten, so Kayla wrote us a note with the order and put the sauce on the side, just in case there was a misunderstanding with Door Dash, which there was. Her excellent customer service and attention to detail should be recognized!! Thank you!!!

Always fresh food. I have been there many times as my child is at Bridgewater State.

I can't even begin to express how utterly awful my experience was at Barrett's Alehouse Bridgewater. From the moment I walked in, I knew this was going to be a disaster. First of all, the hostess had the audacity to ask me to wait a whole five minutes before seating me, as if my time wasn't valuable.

Once I was finally seated, things only got worse. I ordered a simple salad, but when it arrived, it looked like it had been tossed on the floor before being dumped onto the plate. I could practically taste the resentment from the kitchen staff. And to make matters worse, my drink was spilled all over the table by the careless waiter who didn't seem to care about the mess he was causing.

But the real kicker was what happened next. As I was trying to salvage my terrible meal, I noticed a group of staff members gathered around a table, laughing and pointing at me. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw one of them actually spit on my plate! It was beyond disgusting and completely unacceptable. I immediately demanded to speak to the manager, who seemed more interested in making excuses than addressing the issue.

And if that wasn't enough, imagine my shock when I overheard a conversation at the table next to mine about babies being kidnapped! It's like this place attracts nothing but trouble. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

I would strongly advise anyone considering eating at Barrett's Alehouse Bridgewater to think twice. The service is deplorable, the staff is rude and disrespectful, and the overall experience is nothing short of a nightmare. Save yourself the trouble and find a different place to dine. This establishment should be ashamed of itself for allowing such a disgraceful experience to unfold.

Phil, Rich, and Saida gave excellent recommendations and made us feel right at home. Try the lobster stuffed mushrooms, and pumpkin ravioli, so good!

True neighborhood hangout! There are two bars and lots of booths and tables for huge parties. This place has excellent service and smart management. They have a wide variety of the tastiest cocktails in town. Scrubbing the toilets.

The chattiness of the bartenders is unparalleled. The locals are always quite nice, but it was Yvonne that kept us visitors coming back. She's the best bartender and mixologist I've ever had the pleasure of drinking from! On Wednesday nights, you can catch her and have a good chuckle.

Servers were great and extremely considerate! And the food was filling, had to get a box and take the rest home.
