My family and I had a great time here. The service was friendly. They gave us the back room which was perfect because we had a lot of people. The food was really good. We got a little bit of everything. The waffles with the cake on top was INSANE, but of course the kids loved it. The dessert from the case was good. But I would suggest taking it to go. Since it was right out of the fridge it was a but tough. It would've been great if it were out a little while longer.

Best Dinner bakery we have ever experienced , the cheese Danish is legendary . The server we had was top notch, we were their for breakfast and she did not write anything down but got everything correct. French toast was perfect. The whole experience was so good we were back yesterday.

Dined in with friends for lunch (or late breakfast), a few times , and came to an agreement with the overwhelming number of reviewers before me: the place is good. First the food. Various omelets, bennies, sandwiches and many more items that is characteristic of any diner, are present, but somehow do not overwhelm you. The places is sparkling clean every time i visited and i enjoyed my time there. It can be crowded at times but it is just a sign of their huge popularity among the locals. The thing to mention is their deserts. They look nothing short of fantastic. To full disclosure, i have not tried any but heard a lot of good words about them.

Very good food. Waitress was amazingly friendly. Stopped by on recommendations by two lifetime locals who swore by them and it didn’t disappoint. Bill was $96 for four including taxes, which was pretty good.

Cinthia was amazing! Great service! Food was really good! And was so much! This time I had a salad but next time I’m going for the breakfast! My husband are French toast, so delicious!!

Last of great old time "diner experieces" in area. Lots of choices and quality of food is high. Staff is friendly and accommodating.

My first diner after I moved to NJ. Many meals here. Breakfast today was solid.

Classic diner, local charm. Omelette was cooked to perfection, toast was golden brown and buttered with careful intention, but the shining star of the whole experience was our waitress, Crystal, who made even us New Yorkers feel like regulars.

After a frustrating existing at Newark Airport, this was such a relief! Our waitress, Nadine, was attentive and helpful and kind. We had the lumberjack and the breakfast skillet, both delicious and huge! Both of us enjoyed the mixed berry smoothie, which I couldn't finish and was given a go cup to take with me. Last, we grabbed some monster cookies for our kiddos, and I have a chocolate mousse cheesecake that I'm going to enjoy, as soon as I have room!

Always a solid place to take the kids for a good meal. Fairly recent remodel has a fresh feel for a diner. Large dining room, so always easy to get a table. Full bar.

Good food, not crazy about the eggs but everything else was good. Pancakes were super duper delicious!! 💯🙌🏼 The place is clean, silent and peaceful, good service overall.

I went with my son, daughter, and granddaughter here for breakfast today. The place was pretty packed, but we got a table for 4 promptly. I can't say enough about how great this place is except as we approached the table there was a squashed large cherry tomato right under the side of my seat that had already been stepped on and juice and tomato guts smeered on the floor right by my foot and smeered into the walk way. Everyone, including the waiter, saw it but did nothing about it.

My son even got it under his shoe from moving his foot around. No one addressed it. I know we don't eat on the floor and waiters take care of food orders, and not charged with cleaning the floors but come on. It was squished and dragged along the floor with its pits, jucies, and guts all over the floor and continued under our feet.

YES, I SHOULD HAVE said something, but it was so obvious i had faith that someone would be on it and address it soon. It was very out and exposed.

But everyone continued to work around it the whole meal.

But my service was great, the food was great and I'd go back again. But team.....even if it isn't your job to clean it up, tell someone. Don't make me be the one to make you address a mess that you can't possibly miss with your eyes that is all over the floor.

Be proactive at your job. Take the blinders off. I still tipped the waiter 20% cause he did do a fine job outside of the mess I sat in.

Iákovos was funny and helpful, excellent service! Ordered french onion soup and meatloaf with mash and string beans hubby ordered grill cheese with bacon and avocado. Both dishes were delicious. I asked for extra gravy but it wasn't needed at all the meatloaf had flavor even without gravy. To me that is a sign of a good diner!

One of the best diners I've ever been to. The food is absolutely delicious! Lola is so incredibly helpful and makes sure you are in need of nothing. I will come frome Jersey City to eat here from now on.

The French toast was delicious! All the food arrived hot, which is essential! Great experience; I will definitely be back!

Very cool spot. I've come here for breakfast and lunch. Tho with a diner it doesn't really matter because they make good good around the clock. Good service and great selection. I totally recommend.
