Montgomery Food Mart

Staff are very friendly. They have good quality meats,frozen foods, fresh sandwiches,low sodium cold cuts, and various juices and sodas. They take EBT. You can get money orders also. They have a parking lot for the customers. Never had a problem with them. Montgomery Foods try their best to carry as much as a regular grocery store, which is good because of the area location that its in.

It's a great place. The owner and staff are from the neighborhood. They are friendly and helpful. If you are patient when shopping, you'll find some good values that are comparable to the large chains. Their meats and poultry are always fresh. During these difficult times we should support locally owned and run businesses. I ask my neighbors to do so.

Its a local place for local people. The manager mike is amazing and always helpful. Most people that go to the store go because of the very personable people who work there.

not crowded

The store smells like you're inside a bottle of Mistolin. Unfortunately, the produce tastes like the cleaning solution. Smh. Don't buy fresh food from here.

I only go here if I absolutely need to. There's a bad smell to the place, and it surprises me that they make sandwiches 🤢

Be very careful with how much she charge as they will try their best to over charge you at the counter.
Non of their items have price tags on them. Hence you wont know how much it is once you get to the counter.
Once you get to the counter she will try to be efficient and punch in numbers very quickly manually so you wont know how much each item was charged.

She wont even give you a receipt with a breakdown of all items.

Good luck when buying a meat product from them, they try to under scale the meat and charge you more at the end as their is no way for us to know how much it weighed at the end.

One day I tried to watch while she was weighing the meat and guess what? She felt nervous while she trying to under scale chicken meat and stick an over priced tag. Hence she asked me to look the other way while she was weighing the chicken meat.

I wish you all luck doing business with them. With no receipts.

They are mostly keeping expiry products and there customer service is very poor..

This store sells only expired or about to expire goods. Stay away from this store.
