Fall foliage is beautiful through the woods. Why trail has been cleared but gets a bit confusing on the back hills when covered with leaves. Grab a map at the start and you will be fine. Nice deer and birds around.

Found this trail today oh my goodness is it gorgeous the view of the sky on a partially cloudy sunny day is remarkable as usual I think all the parks are stunning this one is a moderate trail some hills and slopes roots the shorter route I found was two and a third miles you could probably stretch it to two and a half there are some shortcuts if you want to cut it even shorter but overall this is a nice clean Park I love it there are maps the maps are really close if you use a GPS walking like I have Google apps and it tracks me and you can compare it to the map it's really close so you know where you're at please keep it clean as usual clean it and you find it it can't hurt to walk around a little plastic bag enjoy it

Tick infested trail. Went in May and I found ~20 ticks on my dog. Went in February and found ~10 ticks. Beautiful 2 mile walk otherwise.

Nice trail for a short walk/hike but when we left - between myself, my husband, and our dog - we must have had 75 ticks on us!! Enjoy the trail but beware of ticks this time of year!!

Ticks, ticks, and more ticks. Pulled 75 ticks off my dog, 10 on me, and I used deep woods off. Otherwise, a nice short trail for a quick walk. The old stone bridge is cool too. Wish I knew when it was built.

The trail is nice. It is on the short side. Some low laying parts in the woods tend to flood or get a little sloppy. Horses are ridden on this trail not just people. It is relatively quiet. It is an easy trail for beginners. It is enjoyable none the less. I wouldn't pass it up.

Trail is primarily through a wooded area adjacent to the Charleston Spring South golf course, but not close to interfere with golf operations. The trail through the open field area is discernible and marked with directional arrows on posts. The section through the wooded area, which is the predominant section of the trail, has become 50%-60% over grown. There were two areas of the trail that were blocked by felled trees and had to be traversed by climbing over the blockage. The stone bridge, which is the highlight of the trail, should be cleared of some overhead tree limbs. This would allow for enough light to take some memorable photos.
The length of the trail is somewhere in the two mile mark and because of the up and down elevation changes through the wooded section, gives you a moderate workout. If you're prone to bug bites, deep woods off or comparable spray, is recommended. All in all, with a little bit of attention, the trail is not a bad way to spend an hour or so.
