Cliff House Maine

My wife and I stayed at Cliff House for e 3 nights.
We enjoyed everything and every moment.
The Room was spacious and comfy.
The Rose petals and the cheese board was amazing.
The restaurant was delicious.
The Spa massage attendees were excellent.
Catarina and Jesse even with us rescheduled the appointment from Thursday to Friday, they found a way to accommodate us for this perfection on the massage.
Was a birthday trip from my wife, and everything works perfect and we'll return for sure..😃😃🎈🎈🎇🎇

Beautiful spot for a quick getaway. Checked in fairly quickly from the friendly employees at the front desk. Room was on the second floor with a beautiful view. Room was clean and spacious.

The Tiller was an excellent place for dinner. Ordered a lobster roll and a few cocktails. All were delicious and service was great.

Enjoyed the hot tub for a few hours as well. Wish it didn’t close as early as it does (10pm). Other than that the property is in such a beautiful location.

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend stay at the Cliff House. We had an updated one bedroom oceanfront corner suite with the most amazing views from every window. The long balcony was beautifully furnished, though it was quite chilly in November so we did not get much use of it. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we could possibly need. The service was top notch and everyone was over the top friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be returning!

Had a wonderful weekend stay at the Cliff House for our "babymoon". The spa, restaurants, and rooms were all super nice, but what really made all the difference was the staff. Every single person at reception, in the restaurants, and at the spa were so kind and really made the experience even more memorable.

This was our first visit to the Cliff House and it was worth the hype. The property is incredible. The views are stunning from the moment you walk in the front lobby doors. We were still able to use the hot tub in January, which sits basically on the edge of the cliffs, looking over the ocean. Rooms were great, the staff were all friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was excellent. We look forward to coming back again.

We stayed here for four nights in mid September 2023. It was such a wonderful experience that we already booked a room for next summer.

This is an upscale resort where the staff are very friendly and definitely aim to please. We arrived before our room was ready, but our luggage was unloaded, our car was valet parked, and we went to lunch. When we finished lunch and went to the room our luggage was there waiting for us.

The grounds are beautiful and meticulously maintained. There are amazing views from all over the resort.

Guest Services were extremely helpful both before and during our stay. They made reservations for us at The Tiller Restaurant, and answered numerous questions during our stay. Absolutely one of the most proactive and helpful Guest Services that we have encountered.

We stayed in one of the Sunrise Suites in the Ledges building. It's a quiet location, but literally less than a five minute walk from the main building and dining area. The room was very nice.

The gym is modern and has great ocean views. We didn't use the spa, but it looked just as upscale as the salon we use at home.

This is not an inexpensive resort, but you get what you pay for. Definitely recommend for an upscale resort experience.

Went for our mini moon and had such a wonderful time. Had booked two nights but upon arrival decided we wanted to stay a third night and they happily accommodated us. Our room and view was stunning, our spa experience was so relaxing and the entire staff was so genuinely kind and helpful. They made sure our stay was perfect. from the bartenders to the spa staff to the front desk everyone was so lovely. Shout out to Justin at concierge!! We were also given wonderful dining recommendations and Justin recommended a sunset sail with captain Scott which did not disappoint!!!!

I photographed a proposal there this week and the scenery is unmatched!! The backdrop is absolutely amazing, even during the winter months. If you are looking to experience the beauty of the Maine coast, then this place should be on your list! Congrats again to my wonderful clients!

This is a lovely place, and beyond gorgeous. The rooms, the food, the pool. I spent half a day just lounging looking at the beautiful view, and one day I got bold and walked unto the rocks under the cliff. Incredible and powerful! What an experience. Also the ROBES. My client/friend bought me one after this trip and I am forever grateful.

The only thing I could say that is slightly negative was the restaurant people did not know about the SMORES kit. But I found them on my own! Also...smores kits!!! You cannot beat it.

This is a bit delayed, but we had a wonderful stay for an anniversary trip this June. Service was excellent all around. Room was very nice, and we enjoyed having water and other items immediately outside our room in the hall. Food and drinks in the restaurant were very good. Would highly recommend.

Beautiful location! The view from the Cliff House is unbeatable. The entire property is stunning, with fantastic, panoramic views. The food at their restaurant is delicious. We always enjoy their brunch and cocktails. Whenever we visit, we walk by the Spa, and have never gone, but would love to visit and treat ourselves to a beautiful, relaxing spa day. Can't wait to visit again!

We stayed here for six nights. The staff was always above and beyond. The views can't be beat. The hotel is beautiful in its own right. There are not enough superlatives for the Cliff House.
This place does seem to be the go-to place for weddings and special events. We saw at least three weddings while we were here. Fortunately, the hotel is set up well enough that people aren't bumping into each other. There is just so much room here.

The cliffhouse is absolutely fantastic. Beautiful place, everyone there is friendly food is great and the rooms are very clean. I can't wait to go back. I will never stay anywhere else when I go back to Maine, and the views are Breath taking.

We went here for the arts and crafts fair thing they have and what a beautiful and well-maintained facility! The Shake place with the lobster rolls were fantastic and the view was even better. Make sure you visit this place.

We recently visited the Cliff House for a family spa day. Driving up to the hotel is picturesque. The grounds of the hotel are pristine and unbelievably gorgeous. Between the four of us we spent thousands of dollars in the spa with a full day of treatments. We have nothing but good things to say about the extraordinary care we received while getting our treatments. It was well worth the money! On a break between my spa services, I went to get lunch and had a good experience at the bar. We made sure to tip AT LEAST 20% on any drinks/food/services we received throughout the day. At the end of the day when the four of us gathered for a final goodbye drink, my stepmother offered to pay the bill. She put the tab on her credit card and went to pay the tip with cash. She has a hard time seeing without her glasses and handed a five dollar bill to tip for the three drinks and one cup of chowder that was served. The female bartender? stated 'youre tipping for the chowder too' with a demeaning look. My stepmother quickly said, 'sorry I cant see well', and handed ten more dollars to the tip. The bartender? then said yes thanks, with another demeaning head nod. Overall, the experience was fantastic throughout, except for that one person. We definitely won't let it ruin our experience, but hope future guests and for our future encounters we are received a little better, especially after the amount of money we poured into the different areas of the resort.

Great property and cannot beat the location. Hotel is ideal for a family with small children as there are lots of areas designated for them. They even have a movie theater as well as art studio to keep the kids busy. The breakfast at the main restaurant is better than the dinner option but this is Maine and if you are coming from NY, CT or MA your expectation for fine dining should be toned down about considering. The takeout lobster bar next to the pool was better than most of the lobster shacks in the area but it is quick serve if you don't mind. Other than that, this is perfect for a 3-4 day get-away.

5 Star resort with great food and amazing service. Our first time here and we loved coming in the winter. We will be back in the future!

The Cliff House in Maine is by far our favorite hotel. This was our 3rd time staying at the Cliff House and it was just as fabulous and special as the first. Matthew at the front desk is welcoming and always willing to do what ever it takes to make the guests happy. Justin in Concierge Services is fabulous! Every recommendation he made for us (on all 3 trips) has been wonderful.

My kids love it as much as my husband and I do.

This is the only hotel I've ever stayed at that sends a pre-vacation survey asking what I was hoping to get out of this vacation. Less than 1 day after I completed the survey I got an email from Concierge with suggestions that matched my survey results. It was great being able to email and/or text with the Concierge team before and during our stay so I didn't have to waste anytime during my vacation to wait for plans to be made.

We're already planning our 4th trip back to the Cliff House. Thank you to the entire staff for making this trip so memorable for us.

OH - I forgot to mention that our 2nd trip to the hotel was cut short due to a death in our family. The Cliff House contacted us after we retuned home to let us know they would not be charging us for the full vacation. That is truly the best service we could have asked for.
