Not your run of the mill brunch. I loved the chicken sausage on green chili biscuits. The tortillas are fresh and very good. The bacon is sweet. Serving size is good. My granddaughter had the child’s portion of French toast with fruit. This was very good too.

A modernist brunch Diner. With a perfectly sized menu and well stocked bar come to the Slate Street Cafe to fulfill your brunch craving. Sit down and enjoy the sounds of midmorning bustle while chowing down on some great brunch. With many options to choose from and more options from Friday- Sunday (some items are not available during the week), they will have what you need to satisfy your craving.

Just discovered this place for Brunch. I had the Baguette French Toast with fresh berries. My friend had the Huevos Rancheros with Xmas chili. Both were scrumptious!! Yummy cocktails, lattes and coffee and delicious apple fritter. Service was very nice. Attentive, but not intrusive. Atmosphere was relaxing and pleasant!! Will definitely go back again!!

An absolute gem! First time I’ve been here and it was amazing! The host and servers were in great communication together! The food both looked and tasted delicious. The pomegranate mimosa was just the right amount of dry and sweet. I was skeptical that the grits and shrimp was going to be either to hard or to overcooked. Absolutely not the case! The grits were cheesy and savory the shrimp was cooked to perfection. Followed by a lemon blueberry cupcake that was dense and nicely sweet. Our server was so kind and attentive! Will return for sure!

Found this place for lunch one day while visiting Albuquerque. Staff was really friendly and willing to give recommendations not only on the food but also good places to hike. I had the mac and cheese and added grilled chicken and chilies. It was so good. Not too rich, great flavor. The brunch menu looked really good, so will be back to try that soon.

Nice little Cafe tucked away on a quiet street within an easy 10min walk of the convention center. The green eggs and ham omelet was sizable and delicious. My side of bacon was delicious and delivered extra crispy as requested. So good I went back a second time during my time in town.

Fantastic breakfast/brunch and cocktails! Just what we needed for breakfast! Fresh, delicious and the menu reflects New Mexico very well. This place seems very popular for locals so plan on a little wait. But totally worth it!

We had lunch with friends on the patio. The food was good, the service was efficient and friendly. It’s a really pleasant place to enjoy a meal. I had the Slate burger with cheddar cheese and green chili. It was spot on, tasty and perfectly cooked. My wife and our friends all expressed happiness.

Food was good and fresh. Had breakfast burrito with Christmas sauces, both really good, green sauce is chunky chilis, red sauce basic enchilada sauce. Fruit cup was fresh, biscuit was moist and soft without putting butter on it. Didn’t love the coffee, especially for $3.50 ea.

By far the best Cafe I've ever been to in Albuquerque, NM. Slate Cafe was super friendly, plenty of parking, handy cap parking at the front. The food was amazing. Super impressed I will be back and I will be spreading the word.

Good food and atmosphere. I had the Huevos Rancheros. No fresh pinto beans. Recommend adding to it to make a fresh New Mexican breakfast. Other than .. pretty darn good!

Beautiful, intimate little restaurant for brunch or lunch. Our server was not overly friendly, just polite and to the point. The Mediterranean Salmon was seasoned to perfection and the vegetables were incredibly fresh. They also allowed me omit the quinoa from the dish which was nice. I will certainly be back and look forward to doing a wine tasting there
