Absolutely amazing sushi. Fresh, DELICIOUS and original. Try the spicy crab roll, they put magic in it.

I love this place and this is my go to place when I am craving sushi! Midori sushi is one of the best known restaurants in Highland Park and for good reason, their food is great!
I have been to a few more Japanese restaurants and I think Midori sushi has the best quality. Their menu is reasonably priced and their food is always fresh and tasty. When they had indoor sitting before covid hit, they had a very nice sitting ambiance that was ideal for a date.
Overall, great menu, quality and price.

Unquestionably delight every visit or pick up from this restaurant, I have frequented this establishment for past 2-3 years. I find the staff and owner who always prioritize the order and the chef provides upmost ingredients for each piece of sushi. I am glad to say I can recommend my fellow Neightbors for this gem.

This place is one of our favorites and we've been coming here for many many years. Great sushi, reasonable price, good service and just 10 mins from where we live.

The special rolls are great, but there are times I just simply enjoy their no-frills spicy tuna and salmon rolls on the go!

We have also taken out their party trays for family gatherings and such multiple times; all our friends and family love them and they never disppoint!

Great tasty food. First time eating sushi like this. Will come again. First bite of my girls dish forgot wat it was tasty the sticky rice was so good but the sushi nori I didnt like (at first) Season and spices was just right. My Crispy Spicy Lobster Roll (picture) was the best everything was to the T. For what we ordered though came out to be very expensive though over $50 bucks for two dishes and Fried Egg Rice. Probably better to get a Party Tray. My girl enjoyed it and that all that mattered and so did I. Will try just about everything on the menu.

Favorite sushi spot! It’s always fresh. The hibachi is delicious too. The Samurai Roll (Spicy tuna,avocado, crab, deep fried) is my favorite!

the lunch special is a really good deal. i’ve tried this place multiple times now and it’s always been good i recommend it. the service is fast. i will surely be back

TLDR: a bit pricy but very good sushi. Make sure you order from Midori in Highland Park.

If you’re ordering from an app (DoorDash, ubereats etc) they will deliver from their chain location closest to your address (there’s another Midori in Piscataway). Make sure you get it from the Highland Park location - it IS better and DOES taste more fresh.

Their spicy tuna roll is amazing, I sit here and daydream about it because I don’t live close anymore

An awesome sushi place. The sashimi are nice big fresh pieces. The rolls are nicely done and fresh. My favorites are the Amazing roll and the Hollywood roll. The prices are very reasonable and my order was fulfilled very quickly.

If you like fresh, quality sushi without paying top dollar, this is your spot.

The freshness and perfect temperature of the rolls make it my piece of heaven on 🌎 Earth. My body feels good eating from here. Little things such as the ginger dressing for the salad and up to the selection of food make it very pleasing as a customer to see quality and care. If you like Japanese cuisine Midori is PRETTY good. Yes delicious as the food is the presentation 😋 of it makes it more of a warm meal.

This place is amazing! Best sushi you will have in Central New Jersey (been to multiple locations and nothing compares) Truly amazing! Blue crab fantastic roll is my favorite! Lunch specials are cheap and good quality and dinner is outstanding as well. Bring my friends and family all the time. Great for both takout and dining in.

Have been living in HP for 2 years now, Midori is HANDS DOWN the best sushi around. Lived in Brooklyn for 30 years with some of the best sushi spots in the northeast— Midori holds its own. Get the amazing roll

I come to this sushi restaurant at least once a week. I really like their spicy rolls. It is always fresh and made to order. I see that there are reviews saying the service is rude, but in my experience I have had great service. The host Allan even offered me tea when waiting for my order my last visit. I usually pick up my order or eat in with my mother. Delivery takes a while, especially because I live further. They do, however, typically deliver faster to me than my neighborhood sushi restaurant.

Very good sushi. Great variety from traditional high quality sashimi to creative rolls. I highly recommend their spicy rolls of all sorts. Delicious. I often get delivery and they arrive always on time (or early) and provide little disposable soy sauce dishes with a to go/delivery order which I've never seen before this places. Not budget priced, but not exorbitant prices either.

This is the best sushi place in central jersey. I got several orders from this place and they make it perfect. I like the consistency of some rice and more fish. My favorite is midori supreme. The service is amazing and I am so glad I found a place that I like.

My girlfriend and I order from here all the time. The food is always delicious. We actually had an incident the other night where they delivered the wrong dish mistakenly. We called and informed them of the mistake. They were very apologetic and within five minutes redelivered the correct meal. Great Customer Service!!
