I grew up in this area and loved going to this store for everything! 20 years later the food is still amazing, the service is great and it brings me back to my childhood. The guys treat everyone like family and theyre super chill. And even with inflation in the economy and gentrification in this area, their prices are still unbeatable. Love love love!

Stopped in randomly today for a lunchtime sandwich...they gave me a great chopped cheese for a fair price. Nice guys behind the counter too. I will definitely be coming back for more. Man, I wish this deli was in JC Heights...

The Best Bodega in JC and there is no competition. The Twins have been running this spot for over 20 years and have built a legacy of community as well as a reputation for great sandwiches. This is one of the best sandwich spots in jersey city! A true gems. Not only do you get service with a smile but you also find what you need. Philly cheese steaks like philly for real. My favorite is the tuna fish. Thank god I have a great sandwich place in my section of Jersey City.

Sometimes I lay awake at night welling up in tears because Puchu's is not open. That warm glow of their lit awning beconing me to their grill, whetting my appetite for the tastiest, crispiest hot sandos in the hood. Turkey, steak, salami, egg, all dressed to the nines at prices that haven't changed since the Clinton administration. Who needs a spouse when you have this place?
