Community Pharmacy & Surgical

I have lived in Jersey City for a little over a year and I have used Community Pharmacy to fill all of my prescriptions! They have been professional, efficient, polite and always filled my prescriptions very fast! I am moving out of Jersey City now and I wanted to leave them a great review before I depart. I highly recommend Community Pharmacy as I have been very happy with them and the staff! Please check them out at their convenient location on the corner of Monticello Avenue and Communipaw Avenue! Keep up the good work!

I’ve been to a lot of pharmacies in my lifetime. Some were so disastrous I thought I’d pull my hair out. But this place is amazing. Joe is simply amazing at his job, goes the extra 1,000 miles to help and he deserves a huge raise!!!!

Yeah I will get them 5 I'm a client there and they are really good polite and they take care of you when you go in there you know they don't have you waiting and they very very courteous when they speak to you so I'm going to give them 5 stars

The Pharmacy looks a little rough around the edges. However their staff is very nice, helpful, engages with their patients.

Expanded hours would be nice, however I get treated much better as in terms of service than i do Walgreens.

This is a small family owned pharmacy to keep in mind and they offer delivery of meds. All and all worth going to if you have meds to be filled and are local.

Friendly but disorganized and a bit irresponsible given the current pandemic and social distancing, etc. I had two prescriptions sent here recently, and was told that the pharmacy would contact me when they were ready. After not hearing from the pharmacy for two days, I called and was told they were ready for pickup. I stopped by about an hour later and after waiting 20 minutes, was told one of the prescriptions couldn't be filled and I'd have to come back again.

I was hoping to support a local pharmacy instead of going to a corporate chain, but I doubt I will return. It's also a free COVID testing center and they made no effort to enforce their mask policy when one person walked in for a test while half-wearing a mask. I realize it's tricky to enforce, so I understand the lack of enforcement, but at least make the effort to give out the correct information about when a prescription is ready for pickup.

They starting to fall off, told me my meds would be ready today so called today they say the 11th called back they said 2 would be delivered today never happened this the second time smh

Pharmacy is a joke. My prescription was transfered to them and they quickly "filled it" so I couldn't get it at another pharmacy. Then throughout the entire day I had to chase them by calling and being promised my medication which I need to take ASAP would be sent by 2, then 3-4pm, then 5-6pm UNTIL THEY CLOSED AND NO LONGER PICKED UP. You don't deserve any business for playing with people's health like that, especially taking their money on top of that.

This used to be a place I never had issues with. Unfortunately the new lady at the front is just beyond careless. Imagine I need my medication and according to her, my medication is not there when it is. A pharmaceutical clerk should never be careless and just decide not to check or double check when a certified doctor assits his clients promptly. Attention to the CEO of the pharmaceutical please dont let this careless admin ruin your reputation when medication can make or break someone's health. The respect and honesty is just not in your employee for months now. I can not deal another month with this careless admin. Every client deserves a sincere attempt to see if their medication is there. People are wasting gas and time for such bad behavior. She must assume some of us may have anxiety, well it gives me anxiety to know she just does not double check to search my name at least for my loyalty to this pharmaceutical company which is for years at this point.
