Fox & Hound Tavern at The Lebanon Hotel

The ultimate cozy bar and restaurant with great food and cocktails. A good beer list too. After a lovely
meal you can sit in one of the front living rooms with a coffee or after dinner drink sitting by the a fireplace. This is the perfect time of year to come here and get into the Xmas spirit.

Needed to make a pit stop during our road trip and ended up here for dinner around 6PM. There were plenty of patio tables open at the time we arrived, but it quickly filled up. Food was delicious, service was great (thanks, Kyle!) and the entire staff was so kind. I forgot my baby’s burp cloth at the end of dinner and our server came out to the lot to find us. The burger was really meaty, my salmon salad was cooked to perfection, and the drinks were just right. If I am ever in the area again, I would come back here!

Stop by for late lunch and was very pleased. Service was outstanding. We had one of the salads and split it. Then had the chicken sandwich. Both were very good. Could not have been more pleased. Lots of choices for craft beers bottle and on tap. Smart. Hoi es for bottle or glass of wine. Just overall winning restaurant and business. Outside area not open yet but as the weather changes.

While we were staying at a local hotel when participating in a 500 mile charity bike ride, we chose to eat here and I am so glad that we did. We got a table quickly even though the place was slightly busy but we happened to get there just before the dinner wave hit. The locals clearly love this place and for good reason.

The food is phenomenal. The tavern steak was cooked perfectly and well seasoned. The brussel sprouts were out of this world delicious and the jersey corn maque choux was so very good that I couldn't stop eating it.

The staff was super friendly and we noticed them all helping each other out which made things flow super smooth.

Can't wait to return and enjoy another meal here!

Came here for Christmas Eve dinner. Classic Christmas experience. I had the filet mignon. Excellent service and food. A perennial favorite for the holidays!!!

Amazing red snapper. It’s been a year and a half since I last been here and glad I was able to make it back. The menus not big but what they have is delicious.

We have been to F&HT on several occasions. We ate there last night which apparently coincided with the first day of a new chef. The server was Denis and very accommodating. The chef didn't disappoint - I had the best clam chowder that i had ever tasted and our steak frites were delicious!

Great atmosphere, amazing food great service. If you haven't been in a while you must come back all new menu and amazing new chef.

This is a wonderful place to go for cocktails and dinner. The food is great, and the cocktails are nicely made. We were outside and Sabrina did an outstanding job in handling the bar. We had a great time.

Excellent meal, great service, great place to eat. Burgers are very tasty. Staff are all friendly and do a great job. Will definitely be back!

Came in to grab a drink with an old friend and was pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, beer menu and tasty food. We shared calamari and each got a salad. She added the salmon to hers and it was cooked perfectly! My chicken was fine, but I do wish I got the salmon instead.

2022 update:
Hosted a business dinner here in Sept 2022. Everything was excellent (food, atmosphere, drink selection, and service).

Now that the pandemic is over, will definitely continue to host events here.

One of my favorite restaurants in the area.

The atmosphere was great!! The service was wonderful and the food was very good. I would recommend this place for either a romantic dinner or a quick bite with some friends.

Two months ago my sister in law told us about this great restaurant
...so my husband and I drove over to lebanon.... I will say completely worth the drive .

The food is excellent tonight I had ahi tuna sushi grade over bok choy ..... It Melted in your mouth. Tonight my husband had the Chilean sea bass
. We have driven here 3 times over 2 months . I believe Jenn was out waiter twice . She was friendly and very helpful.
Place had a casual comfortable feel. Crowd is fun . The restaurant is super clean... tables have plenty of Spacing. I wish I lived closer ..for I literally would be here weekly . If you haven't been here it is worth the trip. You won't be disappointed.

Fyi. The have a full bar. We are not beer drinkers but if you are there is an extensive beer list.

Great place, food and service great. Social distancing quite well on patio. Staff wore masks and gloves.

Last night we were a party of eight for a small cousins reunion. Everything was wonderful! The food was delicious with large portions and the service was the best.(Thank you server Margaret!)
I will be a return customer for sure!

We had Thanksgiving Dinner here yesterday, and the entire experience was just wonderful! Sabrina was our server, and she made sure that our party of 7 enjoyed everything about our dining experience. This was my first visit to the Fox & Hound, and I have to say that the staff and the ambiance was perfect for a family holiday meal...will return. Thank you!

Great dining experience. Food and service were outstanding. I read the reviews before going, and the clam chowder was highly recommended. I've had a lot of clam chowder in my day, but this may have been the best. You owe it to your life to get the clam chowder.

Very nice restaurant in old renovated location. Excellent food. My group tried something different and loved everything. Great beer and wine selection. A must visit when in the area.

I had the burnt ends appetizer and my wife had a salad with salmon. Both were great but I must emphasize….the burnt ends were amazing!

We sat at the bar. Staff was great. Overall: highly recommend.

Note to self: will try steak frites and for dessert the chocolate cake with bacon next time we go.
