Mel's Deli

my boyfriend and I come here almost every week to get their pastrami Reuben. Possibly one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. The toast their Ryebread’s on the grill they add delicious coleslaw and a perfect amount of Swiss cheese. We recently tried the muffins too, and they were delicious.

I grew up around the area, and I must say, this is definitely one of the best bagel/deli spots I've had the pleasure to visit. It's becoming more rare to find shops who make their bagels fresh every morning, and you can certainly tell the difference.

Service was spectacular. Greeted with the biggest smiles, and tried their very strongly recommended reuben sandwich and wow. Do yourself a favor, and try one. You're welcome. They pay attention to the smallest details like serving iced coffee where the ices are made with coffee so they never get diluted.

Pro tip: Mel's everything bagel toasted with little bit of cream cheese, guyere cheese, scrambled eggs, red onions, and bacon. That's how heaven tastes.

The food and service here are top tier for the NJ bagel scene. Mel's is an absolute gem. The women who work there make an amazing team, and together they crank out high quality product, order after order after order. Efficient af. Delicious is an understatement. This place is Phenomenal. Every 👏 Single 👏 Time 👏 .
I make it a point to go there whenever I visit NJ, from Boston.. bc it's THAT good.

Stopped here three times over the past two weeks. First time, just a dozen bagels. They were exactly what you'd expect from a bagel store in NJ. The next time I decided to try the sandwiches and oh my. The belly buster was my choice and it was the right one. Pretty sure I put on a few pounds from this one but it was worth it. My wife grabbed a bagel with cream cheese. Today was just simply a bagel with cc. The service is friendly and fast. Clean store that's easy to get in and out of. I'd recommend to everyone.

Excellent value, Exceptional sandwiches. In a time where everyone is taking shortcuts on quality and raising prices, Mel's is the exception. I ordered a chicken California bagel for lunch and was impressed with the portion and quality, for under $9.

Really good place. Friendly employees and quick service. Everything is really fresh there. They make all kinds of sandwiches, hot and cold. They have all kinds of bagels and cream cheese, potato chips and some baked goods. They also have coffee and cold drinks.

I have not been there for lunch yet but the breakfast have been very good. Everything is clearly fresh and well made. Portions are very good. Staff is friendly and a pleasure to deal with in the morning. I have been here several times and everything I have had has been delicious.

Everything I ever bought from this deli has been good. They are always busy, doesn't matter the time of the day. That alone says a lot.

Food was on point, ordered pork roll egg and cheese and a bagel with cream cheese was extremely satisfied with both. Went back for lunch and had a Reuben that was off the charts. Will go back.
