Hollis Country Kitchen

Hubs and I have been trying a new or different diner/restaurant every Sunday this year. I would put this one in my top 5 favorites so far.
Food was hot, fresh, and fast. Service was attentive and friendly. The place is small and a little dark but cozy enough.
Their home-made corned beef hash was very good and the home fries were delicious.
Pancakes were the best I've had besides my own made at home.
Definitely worth a visit.

My wife and I love this place! If you are looking for a small, cozy, town restaurant, look no further than Hollis Country Kitchen. We've tried the breakfast and dinner menus, and both are equally great. Inside seating is limited, and in the morning, there can be a wait, but during the warmer months, you can sit outside in their garden area. Not their fault at all, but service can be a little bit slower due to staffing issues. I don't bring this up as a reason not to go though, just to forewarn that this place isn't necessarily somewhere to go for a "quick meal." If you have the time and want a great meal, this is the place to go!

service was a little slow could be lack of help but it wasn't terrible. gave time to chat and relax. just had a drink and app, spinach feta artichoke dip was very good and the home made pita chips were light and airy very good. the wait may have been because they made the dip and chips fresh not pre made !

Hollis Country Kitchen restaurant is a hidden gem.They catered our baby shower last Sunday in their charming Old World outdoor garden beneath a giant linden tree. The food, server, and gracious hospitality was outstanding.The menu consisted of a beautiful Greek salad followed by a choice of tender grass fed beef tips, roast lamb, or baked haddock cooked perfectly to individual order, accompanied by a delicious rice dish and fresh garden roasted vegetables carefully carmelized and seasoned. There was an exceptional home-made carrot cake and chocolate cake for dessert that did not stick around for long - thanks again for this remarkable meal! Alex, the chef, and family excel at the art of cooking and the owner has created a little paradise that you won’t want to miss at the crossroads of downtown Hollis.

Great place to grab a homestyle breakfast in Hollis area. The eggs were very fresh and cooked perfectly which doesn't happen often at other breakfast joints. Sausage was filled with flavor, and the homefries are some of the best homefries I've ever had! Our server Sarah was super friendly and attentive. This was our first visit here and we will definitely be back for more!

Great breakfast! Went back again 6/24 and were pleasantly surprised with the new look (we still need see a rooster in the decor). Loved the high top tables. I ordered steak tips and eggs and requested rare and that is exactly how they were cooked! Very flavorful, too. Hubby always gets a corned beef hash omelet because the hash is homemade. Thought about venturing out to Parker's, but this place is half the distance and just as good.

When we first walked in there was a sign saying We apologize for the wait we are short staffed. But, we were seated happily in less than 10 minutes. The staff was incredibly friendly and pleasant and the food was incredible!!! We all got the corned beef hash sizzlers and the only thing you heard was, mmmmmm this
sooooooo good! Very reasonable prices. Coffee was excellent and bottomless. See you soon Country Kitchen.

We as well as myself enjoyed the food at your restaurant. We had Jenn as our waitress and she was not only efficient, she was patient and pleasant to talk too. Please let Jenn know that we enjoyed her service work and charm. We were the 3 bikers.

Excellent food and service. That are a classic feeling older style restaurant complete with wooden benches in the outside wall. Seating is slightly limited but worth some wait for. We are convinced their bagels are homemade from the excellent style and quality. The smoked salmon eggs benedict was absolutely a great choice to try.

If you happen to be in Hollis looking for breakfast, look no further. An absolute standout, amazing pancakes, omelettes, coffee, service. Of all the restaurants I’ve been to around the world , this is on my top 5 list for breakfast.

I think everybody loves this little spot on a corner in Hollis. Long-term wait-staff certainly knows what they're doing. I sat in the lovely outdoor shaded patio area this time for the first time. There is also a Greek theme on the menu and some of the decor. A little short staffed now like most restaurants and so a little bit longer wait for food. There is also extra parking out back.

Took my girlfriend there for her birthday dinner. It was our first time there. I got the steak tips, she got a (massive) burger. We walked away happy, full, satisfied, with leftovers. Great little place! Looking forward to trying their breakfast foods.

We ordered takeout for five. Mozzarella sticks, 2 buffalo chicken platters, 1 hand battered chicken tender platter, pan seared scallops and eggplant parm. I am an Italian-American from Jersey, so the marinara was not up to my standards, but everything else exceeded our expectations and was absolutely delicious. Staff were extremely friendly, restaurant inside was small, but cute and there is a nice outdoor dining patio. We will definitely be back.

Everything is so tasty. Good prices nice clean place nice servers. Everything all awesome place.

Food is delicious, best corned beef hash I've ever had!

I've driven by more than a few times over the years. We stopped in and my wife had eggs Benedict as that's the disk she uses to judge on. All was good she mentioned it could use a little more hollandaise sauce, but otherwise it was a top contender. I had the hash and cheese omelette. The hash was a good homemade hash and the eggs were light and fluffy. All in all both meals were on the list that we will return for.

First time here, got take out.
Bacon egg n cheese on a everything bagel, with home fries, ABSOLUTELY, delicious,

*****Food was cooked to perfection. Loved it! Super outside seating... once the weather improves it seems to offer a beautiful and very quaint garden like setting.
Can't wait to return once it is full bloom. 👍💗

Quaint little restaurant. Have been here several times for breakfast which has always been delicious. Last night, had dinner for the first time. The lamb was outstanding. Will definitely be back for dinner soon.
