Great bar area! Octopus/steak frites/espresso martini were definitely highlights but overall amazing! Not talked about enough

My toddler said it was the best meatball and Mac and cheese she ever had in her life and you know what with my 30+ years of meatball experience I have to agree. The host is gracious warm and inviting, coming here is like coming to a home cooked dinner. The menus is outstanding, besides the Mac and cheese and the meatballs we also had the burger which is hand ground in the back from exceptional cuts of beef and on par with any gourmet burger you will have a t Peter Lugers or the like, and we had the chicken sandwich with truffle fries and truffle aioli. The chicken sandwich is cooked perfectly with layers of complimentary complexity you would not expect on a home chicken sandwich, but there it was layers of perfection. Bonus points it’s not super crowded and the drink options are off the charts.

Tried Martha’s on their second night of opening and we all really loved it!
Prices are to par with La Isla which was at that location previously.

Cocktails are absolutely delicious, we ordered 3 different cocktails and each one was genuinely good. They were balanced with sweetness and citrus so perfectly.

Appetizers: The crispy cauliflower and the calamari were both amazing. Small portions for the price but they were both delicious, definitely the best calamari in Hoboken that we have had.

The chicken Milanese was crispy and flavorful, the burger cooked to perfection with crispy fries. But our favorite was the crab spaghetti - this exceeded our expectations! Perfect combo of creamy, salty, spicy, and crabby. Impressed!!

We’re excited that they’re open and we will def be back.

What a gem 💎. One of the top places in Hoboken. Unfortunately, Hoboken doesn't have too many places that match Manhattan's culinary levels and variety - luckily this one does put high standards bar and is able to provide delicious, interesting, flavorful dishes. I've been few times already and the level is consistent. It's my favorite place in Hoboken - I'll definitely go back. I'm so happy this place opened and it's good as it is.
Favorite dishes: Octopus, crab pasta, and chocolate budino

Martha’s located on 12th St., Hoboken, is a wonderful new restaurant that will become a regular haunt for me. It is quite large, but still cozy enough for an intimate dinner. I usually sit at the bar to enjoy a cocktail and some delicious food. The place is family friendly and they do have high chairs. The staff are very pleasant, polite, and professional. Currently, I’m eating my way through the appetizers, of which there are plenty. Please see the photos below. The pork belly bao was mouth- watering. I was surprised to see the tuna tartare arrive looking like cigars yet they were delicious. Perfectly chilled, and in a crisp non-greasy wrapper. The pork meatballs were scrumptious. I can’t wait to go back and enjoy everything they have on the menu. I applaud them for the effort and attention to detail.

Food is top notch.

About 2 weeks ago we had brunch at Martha’s and the service and food were fantastic. So tonight I ordered takeout.

You can tell all the ingredients are top notch and everything fresh. The crab pasta has fresh crab, homemade pasta, and such a nice light cherry tomato sauce. I am so picky about pastas- I usually don’t order pasta out, let alone crab pasta. I catch fresh crabs all summer long- and I’m telling you- this crab is quality. Salad and dressing were great. I didn't order the cauliflower tonight, but it was fantastic at the restaurant.

Now I have my new go to restaurant!

Absolutely love Martha’s!! Their food, drinks, decor, and most of all hospitality. The staff is great and makes you feel at home. I wish this business years of success.

Brought to life by a Hoboken local, this spot is one you definitely shouldn’t miss. With it’s unique menu ranging from crab pasta (10/10 btw) to Philly cheesesteaks, there is something to put a smile on everyone’s face. Also, the drink menu is phenomenal with a excellent list of choices.

The stand outs:
- crispy cauliflower nuggets
- roasted salmon (I mean you gotta look at some of those photos)
-lemoncello spritz
-chocolate budino

I just visited Martha’s in Uptown Hoboken & OMG the food was mouth watering delicious. I had the cauliflower nuggets & they were absolutely yummy. Dinner was chicken milanese & the portions were perfect. And to top of the night their amazing Tiramisu! I will go back to try the other items on the menu. Love supporting local Hoboken restaurants! Well priced for the quality of food being offered.

Fantastic experience. The crab pasta is awesome. I’m happy to see a new addition to Hoboken that isn’t just another pub, pizza or coffee shop.

Went for Easter brunch/lunch and everything was perfect! Food was delish - omelet was fluffy, perfect size and filled with cheddar, spinach and sausage. My husband and son had eggs and crispy Applewood smoked bacon. Sour dough was a toasted treat. Wait staff was attentive and friendly.
We will be back for dinner!

I just want to say thank you to the owners and staff at Martha’s. I have now had the pleasure of dining in once and getting takeout another time, and I am so grateful we have such a lovely new place in our neighborhood. The food is absolutely outstanding, the staff is welcoming and so kind, and the atmosphere is really calm and cool. You have easily won a new regular here, and again, just want to say thank you for opening up such a great place.

Got the butternut squash soup, cauliflower bites which had a delicious sauce, pasta and burger with Parmesan truffle fries and everything was delicious. They even had a good nonalcoholic beer brand that I hadn’t heard of before. Our server Andrew was very attentive as well!

Martha’s had some big shoes to fill taking over the old uptown La Isla location and they certainly haven’t disappointed.

I personally can vouch for the calamari, spring rolls, cauliflower apps and salmon entree.

Will definitely be going back.

Me and my girlfriend and I had a good time and enjoyed the drinks and food. Also, the customer service is excellent.

Loved everything about this place, the chicken Milanese was so amazing and so were the truffle fries. We got a high top table right away and loved the vibe of the whole place. Highly recommend!

Martha’s was great. We’ve been in Hoboken for a long time and it’s great to see a new place open and have such great food and awesome service. Happy hour and bar options look great too. Can’t wait to come back!

This place is delicious!!!! Amazing meatballs! Drinks on point!!! Bartender is great! Love the cauliflower nuggets!!! We keep coming back for more!!! And they should have xmas decorations up soon, so it will keep more festive 😀

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Martha's in Hoboken, NJ. I was with my Dad, and we were both very impressed with the food, service, and atmosphere.

The octopus appetizer was a great way to start our meal. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the presentation was beautiful. For our entrees, we ordered the crab pasta and the salmon. Both dishes were delicious, and the portions were perfect.

The service at Martha's was excellent. Our server was very friendly and attentive, and he made sure that we had everything we needed.

The drinks at Martha's looked great, but we didn't have a chance to try any. However, we will definitely be back to try some of the cocktails next time.

Overall, we had a wonderful dining experience at Martha's. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was inviting. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Hoboken.
