The studio is super cozy and aesthetically pleasing. I loved it from the moment I stepped in. The atmosphere is very relaxing.

I greatly appreciate the form they send you before your visit, where they ask how you want to communicate. You can opt for the most relaxing option with almost no talking or a more chatty version. For me, it's great to have such a choice.
Also, the specialists working there are highly professional. I have visited different therapists (randomly assigned) and was impressed. I believe the studio has high standards for employees.

I've been going to Meta Bodywork since 2020 and have always had a truly delightful experience. I've gone to varying team members and have always had wonderful treatment no matter the masseuse. Their new space on Montgomery Street is absolutely dreamy and I'm so grateful they have more beds for booking now :) 10/10 recommend!

Ambience was fantastic, the greetings were warming. My massage therapist Rosie was GREAT! I have received massages in 25 states had over 50 massage therapist work on me and she is top notch. She worked deeply and deliberately to help ease the pain I was feeling that other therapists missed. I’m looking forward to more bodywork with Rosie.

Only good things to say! Such a beautiful, sunny, calming, meticulously clean studio located in the Barrow Mansion, which is such a special place. Very easy to schedule appointments online. I've had excellent deep tissues massages with Rose and Mark, who listen to my needs. I have spinal fusion and hardware in my spine, so I really appreciate message therapists who are mindful of these issues. META is my go-to for massages and healing in Jersey City.

I came in for my first prenatal massage with Latasha and will definitely be coming back. I was able to lay on my stomach with this cool pillow that had a hole in it for belly. I loved the massage and so did the baby, I had never felt her move so much before this massage! Latasha is a great massage therapist!!

Meta’s prenatal massages have been A MUST during my pregnancy! They have the cushions with the hole for my belly and the table is so comfortable. I’ve been carrying so much water weight and have awful sciatic pain and I always feel tremendous relief when I leave. And the studio is so calming!

Best Massage Ever! Came to Meghan for a prenatal massage and it was amazing. I'm very particular about my massages and often find them not firm enough but Meghan was wonderful! Found all the tight spots in my back and worked to release them. It's hard to be comfortable at 24 weeks pregnant but she made me very comfortable. I highly recommend her and will be back!

Been going here for regular massages for a few months now. The location is calming and the staff is super nice and very personable, they remember you and ask you questions about what you need, and are extremely talented with their hands. I always feel refreshed and renewed after I leave. Would love to try a sound bath and cupping next!

Meghan gives easily the best massages I've ever received. Her work feels more deliberate and focused when compared to other massages therapists'. She's very knowledgeable, and I leave every appointment both having learned more about my body and armed with practical action items to help improve it. She also has a wonderful 'bedside manner' to boot. I can't recommend her highly enough!

I recently had abdominal surgery and was in need of a lymphatic drainage massage. Meghan (the owner) took the time to call and run thru a series of questions to ensure I was in good hands. Upon arrival, I was in zen. The room is inviting, calm and peaceful. The space is a sanctuary of positive energy , once you get up the staircase! I was greeted my Latasha who was my massage. She has openly shared she was a therapist for 15years and is currently learning lymphatic drainage massages. I was a bit nervous, as I was two days out of surgery. She put me at ease, took her time, and ended up feeling incredible after it was done. I would highly recommend MetaBody if you’re looking for a mini reprieve from your day in Jersey City.
