Great Mexican Food. A bit pricey but worth it. Portions are decent. The new red salsa is a big improvement over the original brown salsa which we didn’t like. We will be back.

What an amazing meal and beautiful restaurant. The atmosphere was so warming and the staff was super attentive and welcoming. And the food was phenomenal!!

I ordered a pineapple La Puebla Margarita which was absolutely beautifully presented. It was so pretty I was telling my guest that I almost didn't want to drink it because I just wanted to look at it. The taste was great it was sweet, but not too sweet ... which was perfect because I don't like things to be overly sweet.

The house guacamole was fresh and delicious. I was up in the air between the table side guacamole and house guacamole but since we got the queso also, the guacamole was a perfect compliment to the queso.
The queso appetizer came out the perfect temperature. It wasn't too hot and I really enjoyed the flavor a lot, however it was a bit too salty for my personal liking so I favored the guacamole over the queso for that reason.

The mixed fajitas came out excellent. The shrimp stuffed with cheese and poblano was a perfect combination of texture and flavor. I did wish that it was a bit spicier but the bartender said it can be spicier (they have another dish where it is made with hot peppers) so maybe next time I can try that.

The chicken was perfectly cooked. I also ordered steak which I requested medium rare and it came out more medium. It was a little bit chewy and difficult to eat in the fajita without having to do a lot of chewing to get a bite down. So for the next time I used the steak in a wrap, I cut it up very tiny so that I didn't feel like I had to over chew.

I really loved the tortillas. They came out warm and were soft and the texture was my favorite kind of wrap. It's the kind that pulls apart and has a little bit of chewiness to it.

The peppers and onions were delicious but I did say something to the bartender about it being majority onions and only two or three pieces of bell pepper. I typically don't like to eat a ton of onion because of the odor and strong aroma - and I don't want to smell like onion LOL

The rice and beans were perfect and not too salty or too hot. They were done just right and the way I like them.

The only thing that was possibly missing was some kind of salsa or pico de gallo with the fajita dish. And one other thing that I really personally like with my fajitas are slices of jalapeno so I kind of wish that it had something spicy to add but that's just a personal preference and no negative feeling towards the actual dish itself.

Overall great experience! The wow factor and icing on the cake for us was the generous 30% military discount the wonderful manager Pedro honored us with. It rounded off our amazing meal and date night out! We weren't expecting such a generous and over the top compensation compared to any other discount request we've ever made at a restaurant for military discount. Huge huge hugeeeee thank you!!!

Came here with my boyfriend at 11am on a Sunday, as soon as they opened. I was seated immediately and everyone was so nice! The waiter suggested a watermelon margarita and it was amazing. He suggested fajitas, so we ordered that (Guadalajara and pork fajitas) and enchiladas to go. The tortillas are thick but we loved them. The waiter gave us free guacamole (average) and chips, free salsa aside from the one you normally get at tex mex places, and even some chocolate for dessert. This place was AMAZING!! I wish there were more in NJ. This location is far from me but I'll certainly be back!!

All I can say is wow! The food was phenomenal, the service was excellent (thank you to our waitress Danielle), and the ambiance was great! We will definitely be back to eat here again. Photo is what was left after we enjoyed the chocolate pinata. So much fun breaking it open and absolutely delicious as you can see ☺.

Great lunch experience. You can ask for changes/substitutions not on the menu. Our waiter offered great suggestions, since it was my first visit. Everything was delicious from the chips and salsa to our entrees. Prices seemed reasonable for the portions.

Starting with an easy online reservation feature, overall experience with this restaurant was beyound our expectation..especially when we were a big group going for dinner. The service was exceptional, they did acknowledge the delays however made extra effort to give us a fabulous experience. Food was so well crafted and presented, the portions were also very good. Their Chocolate pinata is a must have dessert for a big group. It's fun and it's reasonably priced dessert option for more than 4 people ( we were 8 and still weren't able to finish it all).

One of the delightful restaurants of Bridgewater, tucked into the Commons mall. Homemade guac at your table, satisfying margarita cocktails, and big portions of high-quality Mexican dishes. Spirited service and flavorful sauces. Energetic, big interior. A well-run operation clearly known to many as a destination meal.

Delicious food and the drinks were GREAT. I ordered the steak street tacos and the swirl (a blend of margarita and sangria). SO. GOOD. And only $5 during happy hour.

My sister got the jalapeño Margarita and babacoa [sic?] Street tacos. She loved her food and drinks as well.

We came at 3 PM on a Friday and received great and speedy service.

Only negative is our napkins and a couple of plates were dirty. They apologized and switched these out for us.

Also not a fan of the complimentary chips and salsa. Didn't like those but my sister did.

5/5. Will definitely be back, especially for the drinks!

The experience was good. We went there because the Cheesecake Factory level of clean was sub par. Eating here outside made our experience. It had a Florida vibe because of the scenery when eating outside. The portion are huge. The house salsa is delicious and different. The drinks and food was delicious.

Great place. Always satisfied with everything. Jalapeño bacon wrap shrimp 💣. If your there try their house spicy margarita. Also the frozen sangria margaritas are my favorite. Ask for Patricio at the bar to make them he is awesome.

Food was good. First timers. We were not disappointed ordered carnitas fajitas and the trio fajitas so tried all the main dishes and it was good. Drinks were great too! No complaints. It was weird that they added the tip to the bill bc when we went to tip they said it was already added.. we probably would've tipped more tbh but hey- to each their own!

I feel like the Bridewater mall is going through some retail crisis that could impact this place. I do love the food, and the last time I brought my friends they love it here, too. They do some 5 star interior design thats outstanding with food isn't shabby either. I hope the mall biz conduct doesn't affect the biz here as I love to be a long-term customer here! Great fireplace in the winter could order some cocktails to entertain near the fireplace!

Uncle Julio’s is definitely worth going to at least once. I’ve been unimpressed with a few of the dishes I’ve ordered, but the service is usually good, and there are a few dishes particularly I like a lot that keep me coming back. The steak fajitas are amazing here. the bacon wrapped habanero shrimp appetizer is also delicious. The drink menu is always really good, with seasonal specials that change. Drinks aren’t the cheapest, but they do definitely have alcohol in them.

The salsa isn’t my favorite I’m the world but it’s still super good, along with the chips. Always fresh, hot, and thin.

I may not like all the dishes, but I still give Uncle Julios a 5 for consistency, having a scratch kitchen, being clean, having a friendly staff, and a good overall atmosphere.

I only had a celebratory drink and some barbacoa fajitas. I can say that everything that I did have was spectacular and the service was tremendously great. Granted I was there on a Friday for lunch. The service might be a little different during busy hours. I definitely look forward to going back.

We travel here from Staten Island once a week. This is by far the best restaurant I’ve ever been to. The service, quality of food, portion, everything is on point. And even after at least 10 visits it stays the same! Taco Bar Tuesdays is a great idea! Try the Carne Asada

I stopped in here for a drink while my phone was getting fixed at a kiosk nearby. The margaritas were excellent as were the chips and salsa I was served alongside it. Very affordable, great taste, and a good pour too!
