Only place for Indian food in Brookings, the atmosphere is amazing also they play good songs!

Loved our time here!
We were seated quickly, and immediately given water with our menus. The server, Sergio was incredibly kind, and totally on top of making sure we were taken care of.

The food was served quickly, was absolutely delicious, and the servings were large, too! We all came home with about half of what we were served.

The atmosphere is really nice, the decor is modern and stylish. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking to have a great meal, great service, and a great time!

Flavor has a fun atmosphere & very delicious food! We ordered bubble tea, pot stickers, pad thai, and tikka masala - all the food had the strong flavors you’d expect in authentic Asian cuisine. We’ll certainly be back again!

Yummy food. I had Goat curry and was fresh with great sauce. Just like homemade stuff

Loved this restaurant. Had Tikka Marsala. Excellent. Split appetizer of samosa chatt. Huge and very good. We also tried Vindaloo, spice level 5. Very spicy but flavorful. The small grocery store had wide assortment of ethnic items.

I'm so thoroughly impressed by this place, I can't stop talking about it. I was only visiting Brookings on business but I want to come back just to visit Flavor again. I highly recommend anyone living or visiting Brookings to try it out. Especially considering it's one of the few eateries to offer vegetarian options, and they have plenty!

Service was exceptional. Food tasted authentic and delicious . I had the traditional curry, naan bread and bubble tea.

The food here is delicious! The staff was attentive and friendly. There's also a store on the back side if you'd like to buy ingredients to make your own dishes. The lady there was very helpful also.

My favorite Brookings restaurant by far! Beautiful location. Absolutely delicious food here. My friends enjoyed the pad Thai. The beef curry was SO GOOD. I have yet to find another one that measures up. Samosas and Naan bread are a must! I'll be back!

If the amazing food isn't enough, the great service would be. Wonderful people, great experiences. The "flavor" of each dish really is amazing. Dan is a skilled chef, great business owner and awesome community partner. And, their yellow curry is LOVELY! 🥰🥰

By far my favorite restaurant in brookings

I have worked at Flavor Fare for three years and I took great pride ensuring that dishes plates glasses pot and pans were above clean. I've worked there for 3 years. The new 3 years dishwasher doesn't even wipe the cookware. After 3 clean dishes.
years and I was fired for ensuring adequate clean ware. There's only a college graduate that cooks the meals. I wanted clean plates and glasses for customers. Although Dan is the owner the guy who doesn't clean dishes is still work there. I would advise everyone not ea thereuntil the dishwasher is gone.
Watching the new dishwasher I for the next two or three But the owner just hired a new dishwasher who doesn't wipe any of the aforementioned items. I worked with him and despite me telling him to clean items when he thought I wasn't watching him he didn't clean anything Finely because Dan the owner didn't do anything about it I walked out the job. I've worked there 3 years. I personally would not eat there for the months the owner fixes the dishwasher

Just visited the new Flavor location right on Main Ave, and wow was it awesome!! It's a great space, very tastefully designed. My server was very helpful! I'm not familiar with the fare but she walked me through everything and helped me find my dish. Also, I am not a fan if spicy food but a two on the spicy meter was just perfect! I went with Korma curry with shrimp alongside basmati rice. Delightful and very filling. Also, DO get the house iced tea! Wow! Way better than your usual sweet tea. Check it out!

Clean & Comfortable seating with great views of main.

We had the Pad Thai and rice dishes and there was alot of food. We had to get containers to take leftovers home. The cauliflower and fried cheese appetizers were gone in minutes.

The open store at the rear exit was a sweet surprise.

We will be recommending this place.

I went here after a walk off of main street, and this place put the cherry on an already lovely day. The store has a great, relaxed atmosphere, the service was outstanding, and the food.... ah man, the food was awesome! A wide variety of flavors to choose from, good prices for what your getting, and everything seemed very traditional. If you're looking for a place to stop for lunch or dinner while your in Brookings, I would HIGHLY recommend this place. You won't be disappointed :)

I LOVE this place. Of every Indian restaurant I go to, this one has the best food. Their naan is amazing, and I love their Chana masala as well. Their portion sizes are great. I’m a small person and I can usually get 2 or 3 meals out of one of their dishes. Their wait staff is always super friendly, and I don’t think their dishes are overpriced for a restaurant either. 10/10 would recommend!

Nice we have this here. Food is fresh, restaurant clean, staff friendly. The lunch buffet on Friday and Saturday is really good. There is one in Sioux Falls behind the Home Depot that is a bit better with a 7-day a week buffet but that's expected from a city it's size. This one is comparable to the buffets I tried in Rapid City whereas the Sioux Falls one is better than any of them. Either way I give 5 stars for Buffet quality and just being here in Brookings. The staff here is more friendly than the one in Sioux Falls also.

It is a good place to eat. A good atmosphere, attentive staff, good presentation, generous portions and quality food. However it must be noted that if you want the hot stuff it can get pretty hot. So start at three before going to five. This is a good place that offers something more than your generic Chinese or standard fair in town and for miles around.

My favorite restaurant in town and my favorite Indian restaurant in the area until we hit Colorado. Owners are receptive to feedback and will act upon it. Happy to support this establishment.
